I placed an order 3 weeks ago, which my vet confirmed the Rx 4 days later. My pets cancer pill prescription did not ship so I called to find out why, but couldn't get through on the phone, so I tried to leave a message, but the message service said it was too full to leave a msg. So I sent an e- mail 2 weeks ago, I still have not heard from them. Then 3 days ago I waited on the phone for 22 minutes to speak to a representative, once I was "the next caller in the queue" I was sent to a messaging service- so I left a detailed message requesting to be called back because my order has still not been processed with my order number and phone number and clearing stated the problem. I still have not been contacted- I have no idea how to get a hold of this company- I am very disappointed and will not use this company again.
On multiple occasions I have placed orders, my vet faxed the approval and Allivet has said they have not received it. My vet has had to fax approvals multiple times. I have sent emails to ask questions, check status, see why something is still in Rx hold, no response. Specifically, sent email last Thursday, Saturday, Sunday... no response... and this is a prescription. It's not a dog toy. I ended up calling Monday and was 26th in queue to be told they had one approval but not the other when I had been told prior they had the first one. At any rate, both approvals were sent twice by my vet and it took 10 days to go from order to shipped. Unacceptable. Responseso to inquiries should be the same day to all prescription inquiries and Sunday shouldn't be closed. There needs to be a reliable efficient method put in place. My prior vet had a link on their website to myvetstoreonline which was PERFECT. No glitches. Literally... I would place my order, get an email from the company the same day that vet approved and then another that item was shipped. It was always less than a week from the time I ordered til the time I got my order. Boy do I miss that! Allivet could use some assistance with restructuring their process to make it smooth, seamless and efficient for the customers.
The worst! No medication and double charged and no way to get a hold of them except a 30 minute wait on hold."there are 30 calls ahead of you" is what I get when I call. Waited over 30 mins and was greeted by a customer service rep that would not help me and kept talking over me. Then was put back on hold and hung up on. This is my 3rd and last order a lot of time and frustration! Would never use them again!
Horrible customer service! I have been a customer for several years with no problems until the last couple of orders. There seems to be a drastic drop in customer care. I reordered a prescription for my dog and it needed approval from my Vet. After 5 days I checked the status of my order to find it was still 'on hold' waiting approval from my Vet. I then called my Vet and they said they had sent the approval the 1st time the same day as they received the request. Then my Vet gets another request so they resent it. Then they receive another request. I called Allivet to explain this. I got no explanation but checked the status to notice it was finally processed. I sent 2 different emails to their customer service and still have not gotten any response back. I did receive the prescription after 12 days. Surprisingly I did receive their routine 'please rate me' email so here I am still trying to get a response to my concerns. I find myself needing to find a different source for my dogs needs.
AlliVet customer service is absolutely dreadful. My dog's epilepsy meds prescription took almost a full to a week to be filled because AlliVet failed to properly communicate and follow up with my vet office who was attempting to confirm my pet's Rx. I was put on extensive holds repeatedly while speaking to representatives during each call to AlliVet and was on the phone with them trying to speak to a supervisor for upwards of 40minutes during one call in particular. My dog is now missing doses of his epilepsy meds because of their oversight & when I requested to speak to a supervisor the representative became increasingly rude and informed us that her supervisor would be "in meetings all day" and unable to speak. They even had the nerve to request that I pay an extra $10 for them to ship it out over a week later with expedited shipping. Again, HORRIBLE customer service.
The order was shipped out 2 day mail, a full week later (only because I spent days on the phone), was delayed yet again during shipping and did not arrive when promised
I wouldn't recommend purchasing from this company and will never do so again - save yourself the headache and go with 1-800-PetMeds.
I have been ordering from Allivet for about six months now and every time there are issues. When these issues are brought to customer care's attention, there is no response. I receive notifications that requests were sent to my vet and then I confirm with my vet that they have responded and yet my dog's medication does not ship. To put this into perspective, I placed an order March 15th, confirmation was provided two days later and it is now March 23rd and my order still has not shipped. I timed ordering my dog's medication so it wouldn't run out, but now it has and the situation is dire. Failing to process an order in a timely manner is one thing, but to repeatedly ignore my attempts to reach out to customer care and get some indication as to what is going on shows a real lack of consideration - downright contempt, actually - for customers.

The package was delivered on the expected date, although it was late in the day, a few minutes before 8 pm. It was a cold shipment (insulin) and was well packaged.
This place has got to be the absolute worst online company I have ever had the misfortune of ordering from. It has been almost a month since I placed my order & have yet to receive my pets medication. My vet's office has contacted them at least half a dozen times & the incompetent idiots working for this company still can not figure anything out. I will never order from this company again!
I placed a 1 time order and they reshipped it 4 months later without authorization. Cannot get any response from their customer service... asks me to leave message and then say mailbox full and disconnects the call... this is after I have held for 20 minutes. Do not do business with this company... they are a rip-off!

Allthough I waited for over 25 min to talk to cust service to ask for something i felt so easy... JUST REFUND OVERNITE FEES OF $30. They argued with me till I relented as it was so ridiculous and they gave me a whopping and random $11... if you admit fault at all you should fix problem entirely... not admit fault and still have someone else... ME your CUSTOMER lay for your mistake
AWFUL! My auto-ship for my pets denamarin for her liver did not arrive before I ran out I called 5 times they said it would be there the next day it still hasn't arrived till this day I had to still go to my vet to purchase it so she would not be out of her medicine that she needs I asked for a refund and they said they couldn't give me a refund because they didn't have a supervisor there at the time just a terrible awful experience I would not recommend this company to anybody
I placed an order on March 3,2017 and it still hasn't come on March 16th (today). My vet faxed the prescription on March 3,2017. Prices are good, but their shipping time is poor... very slow.
We have a dog with epilepsy and it is very important that she does not miss her meds (if she misses even one pill, one time, she will have breakthrough seizures). That being said, we switched to Allivet when our last online pharmacy was no longer able to ship to PA - and I have regretted it ever since. You have to order meds AT LEAST 3 weeks before you need them because this company just "sits" on its orders. They take the charge out of your account quick enough, but it takes forever for them to actually get it out for delivery. I had one order that sat for well over a week (make sure to check your order status!), and when I called customer service I had what was by far one of the rudest, nastinest, un-helpful experiences I have had in my life with any company in any sector. Yes, they have a good price for my dog's meds (and, as she takes other medication for her epilepsy and it is costly, that was important to us - thankfully the other is able to be filled at a local pharmacy), the possibility of not getting her pills on-time (despite ordering almost a month in advance), and horrible customer service, is causing us to go elsewhere. Read reviews before you use this pharmacy. I didn't and now regret it. There is another online pet pharmacy that has comparable prices and excellent reviews that we are switching to. Do yourself a favor and keep yourself from being repeatedly frustrated and skip this pharmacy.
Never used the site before but it's very user friendly and extremely fast. Product was shipped quickly as I received my order in 2 days. Definitely worth the money and time spent ordering.
The items are cheaper then any other website, but give yourself plenty of time. There is always some reason why the order did not go out. Every time I order there is an issue, and I am just ordering flee & tick and heartworm. Not that hard.
I found that for my dogs prescriptions Allivet easy to place order. Prices one of the best I believe. They doing my Vet. Clinic approval by themselves. Good communication throw e-mails, Fast respond (if needed) and shipping.
I have 2 pet Ned's on autoship and it's great. You get a discount for autoship too. I like the convenience of not having to place my order. It's done for me. Fast shipping too! Very happy customer.
I use Allivet for dog's monthly perscriptions, recently placed order SO-*******. They are so good about communicating when order is coming up again, and shipping information so I always know where things stand. Also, they have excellent prices, and very helpful customer service.

Answer: They advertise medications with photos of the manufacturers' packaging. However it seems that when a customer gets the meds they are not in the original packaging. There is really no way to verify that the meds are either authentic (as opposed to counterfeit) or that they are not expired. Individual tablets are not stamped with dates. When they failed to send me medication in the manufacturer bottle, I contacted my credit card company, then ordered from a different vendor.
