Aliexpress is an Ebay-like storefront that allows local & at home Chinese vendors to sell their product worldwide. Some vendors are better than others. Don't pay too close attention to the dummies who posted a negative review after trying to buy expensive things from an online source located in China! For the best AliExpress shopping experience, follow these rules:
1. Don't buy expensive items, that have great value. AliExpress is intended for buying fun, novelty items. Sometimes things get lost in the mail.:/
2. Avoid buying electronics, particularly cell phones. Their mobile system is much different than ours, and the cell phone likely won't be compatible.
3. Check for current vendor reviews. Seasoned vendors especially, will have many reviews around sizing, shipping, and communication. Be sure to filter out reviews from your Country.

Terrible service. Unreliable. Do not ever buy anything from them. I've sent them all the proof that I've paid but they still insist I need to pay again. They are useless. See pics that confirms payment and their comment that I need to pay again.

I'm a diamond level shopper in aliexpress. And it is Good to buy chinese miscellaneous stuff, but awfull to buy celular phones. Most of them come with fake roms with no OTA, even when the seller claims that it has. The disputes for this situations are not supported by aliexpress that compactuates with these scams.

They will not give you a refund. I waited mine for almost 4 months and the guy on the chat room Muyang Tie seller is very annoying and useless. I wasted a lot of energy to get back my money and nothing happened. But at the end I was glad I reported it to my credit card company so they can Flag and blacklisted them. The more number of complaints filed, the faster this company will pay their dishonesty and shut down, to get what they deserve.

Cheap and untrustworthy

We have bought an ultrasound Jet cleaner. Other than their charges we paid 25$ extra custom duties. We plugged in the machine only to discover that the circuit breaker went down and the instrument went dead. The correspondence with AliExpress has been going on for almost a month with no promises to repay the cost of the machine. They are playing ontime to void the policy. Trashy business.

Lying Scamming Company

This company promised via email and chat to refund me $20 and they lied. I spent over six hours for one month and a half over numerous chats to get the $20 refund they owed me and they lied. They kept telling me they were going to refund me and they have not. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LYING SCAMING COMPANY. I also reported them to the better business bureau. See photo proof of their agreement.

Fraud

Aware! Fraud. They send items that do not work or maybe even used ones knowing that the return shipping is more expensive than the price you payed for the item. Do not trust them. After weeks of negotiation they even did not send promised 50% of refund. Communication with aliexpress did nothing.

Внимание! Полный обман: высылают мусор неработающий в на дежде на то, что стоимость возврата превышает стоимость самого товара( а возврат - за ваш счёт). Эта схема процветала на eBay несколько лет тому назад. Обидно, что aliexpress опустился до этого. О сроках доставки я скромно промолчу...

Favors the cheating sellers

I ordered a 10,2 inch multi media from Aliexpress website and paid in
Advance 268 Euros (306$). The actually did not have it in its inventory
Tried and almost forced me to buy a 9 inch one. When I at last made it
Clear that I do not want it, the seller instructed me, via email, to ask
For a full refund, the reason being (package not received). Since I was
Dealing with my mother's illness, I saw the message after about 5 days.
In the meantime the seller send another email saying that he has sent
The package. When I replied that he did not ask my approval for this
Action, he answered that he thought it was OK with me, since I did not
Reply to his email immediately! I told him that what he things is his
Problem and responsibility and that I do not want the product any more.
He replied that this is not possible and if I opened a dispute,
Aliexpress would support him. I contacted Aliexpress via live chat many
Times without any result. Now when ever I try to contact Aliexpress
Again, a message appears saying that all consultants are busy!

They took payment and flat out said they didn't have the item and were not shipping it. I tried to file a dispute on a vendor for a refund. Customer service sends some fake copy of a letter in Chinese. I paid with MasterCard but they keep trying to say they'll only credit my PayPal. But surprise it's not going through. They have no intention on refunding it. Then I tried to file a dispute about not getting a credit with customer service and it's been more than 10days so you can't. Everything is coming from China it takes 30+ days to receive anything from China. You can only file a dispute for 10 days. Don't order unless you love to throw your money away and pull your hair out!

horrible service and horrible pay method. I have spent HOURSSSS trying to buy jewelry every payment method is DECLINED saying it is fraud no matter what. they say you can use pay pal you cant!! the only way is through ali pay and that requires you to put your social security number and picture of it. this is the worst website ever

Deceptive site and wording will not get you what you want. Lack of basic English knowledge over there will not let your argument stand up since it is not understood. Return costs for item not wanted must be born by customer. Altogether an unpleasant experience. All that quite apart from the smelly rubbish I received another time, hardly fit for the label "bag." Went straight into the garbage (outside the house). Was it made from old tires? My advice: Stay with Amazon, light years ahead.

"MOST" AliExpress sellers are scams. I tried them twice, twice too many times. First time never received the item, the second time, received the item which did not work, never receiving a refund. AliExpress refused to help and guarantee the refund, Not like Ebay. Recommend staying away... Stick with Ebay, better chance of NOT getting ripped off..

Hi,

My name is Anurag Trivedi. My order No. **************. While selling items description given was it's an original one. I bought without a second thought. While I received product, all earphones were fake as I had already used originals when launched in India. I raised a dispute for this and most shocking was their judgment in favour of seller who sells fake products using word "Original". I mean they even didn't investigated this complete case and still wonder how they denied the fact. This clearly states that customers shouldn't expect any neutral judgment from them. Please see attached self-explanatory pictures.

I made a shopify store, which I love. I used Aliexpress as one of my dropshippers. I got my first order, I was so excited! I put the order in at Aliexpress. The site let me complete the order. Of course it also let me pay for the order, then the next day I was sent a electronic e-mail that the product is out of stock. If it's out of stock, why do they put it in their stores? So my first order out of the gate, I had to refund. That makes my brand new store look bad. I asked for a refund, Aliexpress wont issue me one, and would like me to purchase another item instead with the money they have. So now I'm in the hole. The customer doesn't get her items, and I'm out the money I paid to Aliexpress. Now I'm going back through my entire site, trying to get rid of every item from Aliexpress without making it look too obvious. Because my store is now live and has had visitors and a number of orders from companies outside of Aliexpress. So I'm quietly adding inventory and slowly deleting the Aliexpress items. Hopefully my customers won't be like, wait a second, is this a new store? All the inventory has changed. Luckily my store is new and doesn't have a lot of traffic just yet. Hopefully I can fix the issue before people get too attached to my items. And no, I still have not gotten a refund. Just another computer generated e-mail telling me to use my funds to purchase another product.
