Their pricing is way cheap since most of the companies are in China and are wholesaler. However, their products are good quality. I would warn that you should give yourself some time for orders to arrive since their products have to sometimes go through customs. Otherwise, they come carefully packaged. Don't get discourage if you only need small quantity. Some of the wholesalers on this website will sell small quantity like 10 to 15 at a time but you can find so many things so cheap. It is great especially when trying to buy large quantity of a certain item.

The seller twice promised shipping but never did it- CROOK!
Will never buy from Ali neither would recommend this site to anybody. Just lost money because trusted seller who just cheated on customers. Such a seller should loose his business license.

Its not a bad website but it all depends on the seller you buy from. What l would say about Aliexpress is you really need to do a thorough search on the sellers and seeing their reviews then you buy, never do instant buying just cos of the price you will loose your money.

On all my transactions with them all my disputes have been dealt with in a satisfying way that l was pleased with, but there are some cases where you have to move heaven and earth for your refund,

My only problem is their new payment security checks they ask for your id and credit card pictures so they can verify your order

If you choose to buy from this company, you better hope you are satisfied with the product. Returning for refunds is impossible. It is a burdensome procedure where you have to provide evidence. How about the products were crap and they don't fit? Not enough! After a multitude of communications, no satisfaction. They offered a discount on my next order. I will not ever give them a dime of my hard earned US dollar! Scammers.

I have been ordering to canada for years. It's from China... not gonna be the best material but that's the price you pay when you order a $10 dress.
The best way to approach aliexpress is to read the reviews on the product u want and even better is some people posts real pics when they receive it which helps. They will tell you to buy a size up or stay the same... also helpful.
I also find downloading the app is great because I can keep track of my orders.
It's basic buyer beware and do your reading on reviews. Hope this helps

Just like Ebay or Amazon, there are many sellers on the website so you have to be careful. Look for the number of orders, overall ranking of the seller. Of course the shipping is extra-long... I plan 3 month in advance when buying items. Be "extra" careful when buying clothing because sizes and manufacturing process vary greatly in that area but the shoes I bought were always the right size and there is of course money to be save.

Is Aliexpress safe? Their market capitalization is bigger than Walmart and they own 5% of Groupon. The biggest issue would be customer service because they are all the way around the world and don't speak english.

Sill not sure, look on the web for some honest review with lot of experience.

So most orders arrive. Then suddenly 3 orders are marked as "delivered" automatically by the system only a few days after order. The items have not arrived nor could they arrive so quickly. Trying to contact customer service, no joke, gets an automated response saying claim is invalid.
For example buy a few small items fine. Think OK I will order more. Mistake! The larger orders will not arrive, and good luck getting money back.

I'm pretty amazed at the quantity of bad reviews I see here@ sitejabber for this website.
I have been purchasing goods from aliexpress for about 6 years now.
Yes, I have had a couple of cases where I had to deal with a con seller, but everything had always been settled to my favor naturally.
You have to know how to choose a seller as well as a good product by its technical details.
When you do, you're on the safe side and you'll be pleased as I am.

I gave them 4 starts and not 5 because shipping times could be better.

A great place for cheap gems.

Very good experience for all purchases made; shipment sent in a timely manner, earlier than usual at times, albeit some delays due to local conditions. If the seller is at fault, always do correspond via the AliExpress message centre for any resolution/disputes where the correspondences are stored. Quality is also good

I just opened an account without selling or buying and my account was temporary unavailable without any explanation so cannot use their website. No contact details and a link they provide for disputes goes nowhere. I would recommend using them. Bum outfit!

The samples arrived in good order and very quickly within a few days. When I placed a bulk order, the shipment took over 3 weeks, the items arrived damaged or broken (there were no proper padding for the glass jars). The dispute process is joke. I need to prove that I didn't break those jars and also need to submit individual photo of each item as well as an assessment report from Fedex. It was a waste of my time. AE didn't even looked at the evidence and concluded to be invalid request for refund.

There is not ever a transaction that goes smoothly in there. They lie, give fake tracking numbers, ship to the wrong addresses, take forever to ship, they advertise products they do not have in stock and refuse to refund you unless you choose *other reason* rather than *out of stock*... I think this pretty much sums it up. Like I said, just about every transaction I have made in Aliexpress has been a nightmare. Yet these people get away with it because nobody there cares.

I ordered three MP3 players from this site. They arrived about two weeks later. All three of them were defective and did not work properly. The vendor argued with me online for two weeks that there was nothing wrong with his product and then told me to return the items at my own expense so that he could look at them. Terrible quality products and no quality control on this site. Also there is nothing like the sort of customer support that any reputable internet marketer would provide. Stay away from this site if you want to avoid disappointment.

I've bought some good things on Aliexpress but have also been ripped off. Most recently, I ordered perspex jewellery boxes - 60 of them. They had a metal hinge and in 59 of them, the hinge was rusty. Seller promised replacement, nothing happened, then offered refund, nothing happened. Tried to open a dispute - too late, you only have a very short window to do that. Spoke to customer service on three occasions and every time I was assured I was due for and would get, my refund. It never happened. I won't be risking my money on them again. Very unpleasant being reassured on three occasions, then realise I've been lied to again. No longer buy anything from China.

Headphones Super!

They are headphones in my opinion complete and worth the price... because so far and used the headphones without charging them for anything constant use in music or so low and high... total work are already 5 hours and has a 60% can last longer depends on the volume level... and in terms of design and audio is good for those who like the bass this has good enough and does not hurt nor tired... excellent product I recommend it

Says standard shipping. Ordered product 1st week of june. Later received e-mail confirmation and it said should receive item in 35 days. If I dont receive it by september, I can file a dispute and request refund. 3 weeks now and still didnt receive item. Tracking only tells me it left the country of origin. Wont be buying anything from aliexpress again.
