My son always has to do 3 topics every day because of his teacher. My son is not mentally dumb or anything. The problem is that the teacher teaches a topic a certain way or a different way, then when she assigns the Alex topics, the ways to solve the problem is different. Before, I thought it was alright if the solutions were different, but it turns out Alexs only accepts their way on doing the problem. So now my child and probably many other children are confused in math because of how irrelevant Ales is.

Sometimes, i'll use my own ideas to do the questions and even tho its right it will still count me as wrong... and the time goal system is just stupid. I got a 100 on my exam but bc of i didnt reach my time goal i still gets a A-. Everything is stupid! And the ceo is so ugly bruh! Before my school use ALEKS to "teach", I'll always get A+ on math, now its just a B bc of aleks. Fml.

Before ALEKS, I liked math. I even ENJOYED math, but ever since this suicidal death trap came into my life, it has been H!. I get so many ****ing questions wrong, I almost put a hole through the computer screen! I have to complete all of my hole topics in order to take my tests. Once I think I'm almost done with my hole topics, I find out that 15 are still locked. I have to do a bizilian other topics just to unlock the gole topic! It's so time consuming, and they don't even give a good explanation. My teacher doesn't even teach us anymore, she just tells us to get on ALEKS and figure it out! Unless you want to be sued by parents who had to except that their beloved child who committed suicide because of this ****ed up program, don't even think about getting this for them. You'd put their lives in jeopardy.

This site is the worst math program ever I wish my school would just get rid of it all together and it is so time consuming and repetitive and gives terrible explainations of each topic, and because of this inconvenience my school has almost 3 full classes of softmores that are still in algebra 1 and are in danger of not graduating highschool its time to bring back math face to face this program is a roadblock in the success of other people and its time to stop this BS and start helping your students and children one on one and not have your child or students success based off of a computer

My wife left me, she took the kids, i got demoted to janitor, got evicted from my house, and my pp shrunk 27%. My healthcare provider is gone. But when I found ALEKS, everything has changed. I got fired but found a new job and make 13 million a year, my wife loves me. I got another kid, my kids love me, i use luxury healthcare providers for my cool guy syndrome (luxury adderal), i have a mansoin, an my pp grew 37 feet longer. Thank you, ALEKS!

A required course for my major is an ENTIRELY online Chemistry class that uses Aleks for every single one of its assignments. This piece of $#*! website not only made me hate chemistry, but made me HATE SCHOOL. I cannot tell you how many times I have gotten an answer wrong only to see the same EXACT answer is the correct answer, but with A SINGLE GODDAMN DECIMAL POINT OFF. This is not the way to teach anyone of any grade, no one can learn productively in this way. I have had at LEAST three panic attacks due to this website's $#*!ty format and honestly I hope that the developers of this absolute $#*! show burn in hell for the rest of eternity. I hope the same for my $#*!wad, $#*! for brains professor that subjected me to the hell that is Aleks. Anyone who subjects their students to this website can literally go die.

This is the worst math program I've seen, it's god awful, student are forced from 7th to 10th grade to use this trash of a site. For my class specifically, we use this, EVERYDAY, we get no hand written assignments, all of our units are on this, my teacher assigns 15 topics a week & and puts in 3 points a day for doing 3 topics which means if you don't do 3 a day, your grade gets demolished. Hell, this hasn't even helped me learn at all, al it has done is throw topics that I've never seen and expect me to know how to do them, the explanations are no help either, they're awful and complicated, heck I used multiple algebra calculators on a problem and got the same answer and put it in, and ALEKS marked it as wrong. In a total, this proves how terrible & useless this "educational" site is.

Don't spend your money on this. It's probably the worst 'success' program anyone has ever invented. I am constantly upset with it, and have learned nothing. The 'explanations' are so difficult, and what I've dubbed, "The ALEKS Way" is sometimes the only way you can solve problems. Not by what you've already learned in the past. Makes you restart completely when you are in a Unit, and begin a new class. I've had that happen 3 times now. Its holding me back from passing my actual required classes I need to graduate college with.It makes me want to cry sometimes. I would give ALEKS no stars if I could.

It may seem innocent at first but once you use it makes you lose your $#*!. I was using this for the first time in school and I already hate it. They make you learn all these new things you don't need to learn. One time I finished a lesson and then it took me to $#*!ing Algebra. And that time was at the beginning of sixth grade. They added something new so when you're having trouble with a lesson, they'll let you move on. I like how they added that but sometimes they still give you harder lessons. Every $#*!ing kid hates this. Even most of the teachers hate it. I hope this can be replaced by some other learning program 'cause I'm pulling my hair out because of this thing.

It punishes you for answering incorrectly. One step forward, two steps back. That about sums up most of the experience on ALEKS. Its an unfair implement that completely stresses out and frustrates the learner. There have been times where I hand wrote the answer and typed it in as written only to get it wrong and see that the correct answer in the explanation was in fact my original answer (although it is rare when it happens). When moving on to new topics, it will show you an example of how to solve the equation but present you with a problem that requires a completely different method of solving that just wouldn't be possible to figure out on your own without any prior knowledge. Its almost like a free wrong answer for the program, making the time spent on the topic longer and more infuriating rather than helpful. I say that ALEKS needs to be pulled out of every academic institution on earth. Overall, it's just pure garbage.

This is not a good site for math
It is actually hell and it really made me want to die. This program will count you wrong even if you accidentally typed something, also expecting insane amounts of progress per week...
Also, with this, it was boring as hell and didn't explain anything, it really just threw problems at me and made me struggle through until i finally made it.
