I had a very good experience in ordering my carport. I received much help during the ordering process but I have not received until now, over a month later, any notification to let me know what is the status of my order. I am glad they are contacting me now.
Everything was fine right up to the build date! Then they couldn't get the long trailer on my property on Mundell Road in Eureka Springs Arkansas *******.
And Cassidy in Eureka Springs cannot give me a build date due to crew size!
Not very satisfied with communications from Carolina Carports as I was told my slab needed to be 20'8"x40'8" they didn't tell me that from 29x40 the cement needed to be tapered or stepped down. Also when installed no one suggested that there was an optional seal to go below beams, so I now have a garage that holds water. Very disappointed in quality of communications.
The company was very much on the ball, from confirming our order, confirmation of production date and the on-time arrival of the crew.
Extremely hard working crew. Had our 20 x 30 ft garage constructed within 12 hours.
I can recommend Alan's Factory Outlet and we are extremely happy with the results.
We are very pleased with the product and service we received from Alan's Factory Outlet. Great people to work with.
I waited until the concrete was poured before I ordered my shed. I expected to wait up to two months but they were out here in two weeks. Shed is up, done, and full of stuff. Great job.
The time frame was great. The crew did an excellent job. Second structure I have purchased from Alan's Factory Outlet. Would never purchase anywhere else. You won't go wrong with a great price and a great job.
I love it. The installers were fast and did a great job. I did find a few self-tappers in my driveway but that's to be expected. I have recommended Alan's factory outlet to several people since mine was built. The only thing I didn't like was not knowing when the installers were coming until the week of install.
Carport was installed a day ahead of schedule.
Crew was very professional, polite and hard working. About 3 1/2 hours start to finish. 24 x 30 with 7 ft legs and gables. Highly recommended.
I liked the website to order the unit. There are many options for size and design and colors. Once ordered the wait time for install is unclear but that is stated. I waited about 7 weeks from ordering to installation. Install crew worked like a well oiled machine, did quality work and were finished in 2 1/2 hours.
Very professional and quick with the installation. Could not have been any better
You may order +2 ft of leg length to take up for any variance in veridical differnce, but know that it invalidates EVERY guarantee in the contract.
Don't get me wrong... good product, good install, but even if you are willing to pay $400 more for extra leg length onsite, they will invalidate EVERY SINGLE WARRANTY you were told you had... Which IMO is BS from a material/functional standpoint... but they just can't fix it...
But bet they won't put this on Google so the rest of y'all can see the real answer...
The building is great. The crew that did the install was not the best. But I am a fussy guy. And the issues i had Alan's took care of. I would recommend them for sure.
My experience with Alan's factory outlet was great. The website lets you design your building. The team that built the building or put it together we're great
The carport was installed this past Tuesday in a most proficient manner by a very proficient crew. Since this installation, there has been two separate people called you and ordered one of your carports, because they were impressed with the quality and the looks of this product.
It could not have been easier for me.
Price, installation, customer communication was excellent. If I need another one, Allen's is who I'm calling. Told a friend about it, they are getting one also for a camper.
All went well, installers were great and fast!
Great building great price.
So far, I have only waited 60 days, and since they clearly informed me that it could be 90 days, or possibly more, I have no problem. Could only give three stars because I haven't received item yet, but will be glad to raise it to 5 stars after installation. The folks at Alan's are very nice, courteous, and helpful, so they are 5 stars in waiting right now.
I can make one suggestion to help improve their business, however. I would suggest that they offer earlier shipping and Installation at an added fee (generally the cost of the trip and motel rooms for workers). I know I wouldn't mind paying those costs too get my carport sooner.
As a pastor i look for businesses such as this one who post a testimony of their relationship with the Lord. In dealing with the issue of the install now being estimated well past their 120 day goal I hit some snags in dealing with the company. However Alan himself expressed that his desire was to make things right and that is exactly what he did. A person's character shines true when the situation becomes difficult and in this case Alan showed his genuine concern for his customers.
Answer: I paid in October and it was installed in Dec last month.
Answer: Leave off the roll up doors. If you remove the Carolina doors you lose your warranty. But you can buy an opener and modify it so it maybe would work and lose your warranty on the opener if it quits.
Answer: No they deliver when they get 5 or 6 more buildings.
Answer: They use shady install contractors. I bought a garage online from Alan's and was sent a contract with name Carolina Carports on it. They are a total joke with 2 out of 5 star review. They've been out twice and still unable to install tiny 18x26 on new slab. I wouldn't hire them to put up a doghouse.
