Worst experience online ever.
With my washer broken I need a part ASAP to enable my family to have clean clothes quickly. The online site showed the part was in stock so this would get me the part in a few days. After checking the status of the order I found out that the part was not in stock and back ordered. So the simple solution was to cancel the order and buy from another source. I called the service number and canceled the order and told my refund would show on my card in a few days. I now ordered the part from a different source and because of the delay (3 days now) paid the cost of overnight shipping. Fast forward one week and now my email says the part that I canceled is on its way from Sears. Now for the worst part. I call sears and explain what happened the person says they see the cancelation and that if I would return the part they would refund the money. THIS IS FRAUD. The moment that sears received my cancelation for the backordered part I was no longer responsible financially. The phone rep could not comprehend this so I asked to speak with a manager. The rep could not reach a manager and after 30 or so on the phone said that the manager would call me. I never got the call nor was I able to talk to a manager on the second attempt. After 3 days of frustration, a difficult phone tree and ignorant reps, I finally was able to speak to a knowledgeable manager. It has been two weeks now since I ordered the part and I still have not received the refund!
