How many fake reviews here! Agoda booked my hotel at wrong date and refused to refund my money! When I had no place to live in a foreign country, their customer service simply hanged off my call when I asked to speak with their manager! When I told my friend this bad experience, he just said he had the same experience with Agoda too! Agoda booked the hotel one month later than his preferred date! So he had to fly back his country right after his flight! I WILL NEVER USE Agoda again!

Since moving to Korea in 2013 Agoda has been the BEST! Only disappointed once out of tons of trips, I consistently use Agoda whenever I'm traveling in East Asia. The site is easy to use and offers plenty of reviews from actual customers and gives a good amount of information about each hotel.The payment is quick and easy. Really recommended to anyone traveling around Korea or Japan as that is where I have used it exclusively.

Agoda are good BUT make mistakes-often- and usually undetected by yourself until too late SO- if you go back? Start again cancel all or you will possibly/usually end up wrong. They are good. Also My Experience -- I booked with agoda for 4 nights in Zon Suite in KL my plane was delayed from Paris until next day-i rang Zon very rude-was cancelled all and then i got partial refund- 3 days later ---Result i booked into Le Apple and lived happy ever after. I went to Zon and they are good Why do i use agoda cos im lazy I review Cos i like tell people How It Is -check before you pay and dont use airlines that have a reputation for lateness
I have used Agoda for many years to book Hotels all over the world, particularly Asia. The website is easy to navigate and information concise and up to date, with good prices and deals. Their cancellation policy is one of the important reasons I use Agoda (I've only had to use it once) and once with a mix up I had to contact them by phone and everthing was sorted out in minutes. Altho the room types are very well described on the site and 99% of the time the room you book is the room you get, once or twice I have arrived at the hotel and not been given the room that I wanted, it would be good to have a guarantee policy. However I would highly recommend Agoda before any other hotel booking site and intend to keep on using it for my future travels.

Answer: For me as well very bad experience with this site. The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
