They will make multiple deductions out of your account without your permission. The money will not be deducted off your bill so when you call to speak to representative for help they will tell you that it was on the banks and not their end. Obviously this is not true as the bank does not hold power to deduct money for another company nor would that profit the bank in any way shape or form. In the past week they have made five fraudulent deductions for my bank account completely depleting my funds. No one in this company will contact you back. Please beware
I was charged twice for a down payment and contacted customer service several times to reverse the charge, with proof from my bank account-they claimed they had no record of this occurring. They have not rectified the situation. Several days later, the charge is still pending (thanks to a hold placed by my bank). It's been extremely frustrating.
Do not get credit from this company. Horrible customer service. Will not refund your money when you return an item. So you end up being without the item and still having to pay for it. I'm only able to talk to a low-level customer service people who have no power. Promises are made nothing is ever done. They close case for bogus reasons, then reopen it when I call to complain, saying they're sorry and they understand. And then close it again. They just hope they will cause you enough problems that you will just go away. I will never use this company again, and I will never refer them to anyone. I warn all of you not to use this company.
I called to try and fix a problem with my card and had to cancel entire order because they are completely unable to handle even the smallest issues. The customer service rep was rude and not at all helpful. Paying off account and never going back.
I used Affirm over 1 year with excellent standing. However, when I had a temporary financial glitch. I got behind. I later paid the account in full earlier than the plan. Later tried to use them again and they denied my application.
I've had several loans with affirm. All paid on time and paid off no issues. I recently went to do another one and was denied. The email that was sent said I had bad payment history with them which was not true. Checked my history with them never a missed payment. They need to get it together. Or they won't last long. There are plenty of other companies out there.
I make decent money and have an ok credit score, was flat out denied right away. My room mate who lives on SSI and has a credit score below 400 got approved right away for a $1300 iPhone. I don't understand the process and was just trying to upgrade my phone as I only do that every 5 years or so. What a joke of a place..

Both companies have overcharged and not delivered. Went online to review both of them and found atrocious reviews! Had I known I would have NEVER done business with them!
On February 13,2023 I bought 2 patio sofas. On April 29,2023 I only got one sofa. Today, July 1,2023 I am still disputing my undelivered sofa, the overcharge with Affirm and or reimbursement of the transaction. The back and forth emails with both companies have been ridiculously numerous and to no avail. The 2 sofas were a total of $2,998 and Affirm is charging me $3,849.64 on a 3 month 0% interest loan. This loan is autopay via my bank.

Their customer service people all have thick accents. Very hard to understand. After more than an hour my problem had not been solved. They were condescending and insulting. Insisted I was the problem not their system and told me to get someone to help me "take a picture correctly".
If I could leave no stars I would. Do not use this company for any reason not even to purchase toilet paper because they are so sh!+y. I had to file a dispute against the clothing site Too Close through Affirm back in December because the company sent me the wrong item and stop answering my emails. Long story short, after I filed the dispute Affirm started siding with the company and basically blamed the whole incident on me by freezing my account along with the payments and I can't make payments on the that account anymore. I've called them four times and they still haven't reinstated my account yet. In fact those lying jagged mouth representatives told me that this BS would not show up on my credit to which it has. The whole company is not worth what the dog left in the grass.
This company apparently does not want to get paid. For the past several months, I have had to call to make a payment because their app does not work. But everytime I call, I get someone saying that my email and phone number are not in the system. They even continue to talk about if I had a different number. It's the same and only number I have had for very many years...I get reminders from the company for my payment in this email and phone number, but they still say it's not in the system. They then say they cannot take a payment for security. (Can you tell me why someone would want to pay money on someone else's bill?).
Who thought trying to actually make payments would be so hard...stay away from using this company unless you enjoy people saying you don't know your own information.

I've sent them 2 receipts for credits to clear an order for returned merchandise from Neiman Marcus.
This has been going on since July and I still haven't received a credit on the order from Affirm.
I set up affirm to pay for contact lenses in payments. I set up direct deposit, and when suntrust was bought by truist my old card was declined because it was inactive so I put the new card into my account. They never drew payment from that card and never sent me a late notice, just turned me over to collections and then refused to take payment. I was forced to pay off some random debt collector, which is probably going to affect my credit. Kind of frustrating as a college student trying to build my credit, and I'm going to get knocked down some points because this company is a scam.
I paid off over $10,000 in loans on time with zero late payments! I only one reported to my credit report! It was over 8 different loans and I only get credit for 1 loan on my credit report! Their policy is they will use your credit score to get you the loans but they will not report all of your loans to your credit report. However on any loan if you are late with any payment or don't pay then any loan can be reported to your credit! What a crappy company! Do not use!
4 months ago, I changed my phone number and have been trying to have my phone number change in Affirm's database with no success. Despite sending in copies of my driver's license and my photo 5 times per Affirm's request, they have thus far refused to update my phone number in their system and have effectively locked me out of my account. In addition, they are not sending me hard copies of my statements so I have no way to check my balances, make any extra payments or check for fraudulent charges online. Terrible customer service. I am now forced to seek legal remedy so that I can gain access to my account. Shameful business practices on the part of Affirm, Inc.
I have never in my life dealt with such awful Customer Service. Everyone just reads from a script and nothing ever get fixed. Took 4 Months to update a phone number. Sent in copies of DL and my picture MORE Times than I can count. Only to be told several times they will escalate my issue and get back to me only to get them same emails asking for the same information. No one ever really helps and just reads off a script. They are lucky if they even get paid for the one loan I have. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT deal with this company at all.
I set up automatic payments, they took money then accused me of non payment. I called, they apologized, I paid them off. Now several months later they reported me to the credit bureau for non payment and I owed them nothing. Stated my bank declined, which is a complete lie. Very dishonest company. Crooked.
Been trying to login to my account for over a year now, all i needed to do was update my phone number and email address and have not been able to login since. Have called over 50 times probably truthfully double that and every time they tell me that they are updating them and I'll have to wait 3 to 5 business days for it to go through yet here i am over a year later and still can't login. This is beyond ridiculous guess I'll find another company to try because affirm is just plain stupid.
I purchased a welding machine through one of affirms vendors on their app. I was told item was out of stock and never refunded money back into my affirm account. Never received the item I purchased but affirm wants me to pay them $600 and they have absolved themselves of any responsibility. By the way, trying to contact Affirm is literally impossible. They practice a shady business with only the customer to get screwed.
I have had 2 paid off accounts with Affirm. All 12 payments were made on time through auto debit. They never had to contact me for any reasons. 2 months ago, while I still had 2 payments left on my account I was approved for a larger loan. Yesterday I applied for a $300 loan and was turned down. The email that I received asked me to call them. When I called I was put on hold for 32 minutes and then was told it was a "System Decline" and there was nothing they could do about it. I guess their crap about "Pay your account on time and build up your credit with us" is garbage. As the system does not recognize previous payment records I was told. Avoid this company like the plague. Tell Amazon to shove their membership where the sun doesn't shine!
