My girlfriend has been a loyal customer with AE for years and lately the service has been lack luster. My girl has made two orders recently and AE has dropped the ball both times on getting my girlfriend her orders. They have however offered 15% off and two day shipping on next order which is nice but it's not helping. Get it together AE #Respectfully
This has to be the worst store I have ever experienced for customer service. They do not care about their customers at all and argue even when they are in the wrong. Basically they say sorry its your fault and were not doing anything to help you BYEE. Terrible company.
AE won't issue refunds for orders that are delivered to the wrong address, basically they won't help you at all they will blame the delivery company and you and if you call the delivery company they won't do anything. American eagle and the delivery company ripped me off with $64.93 well earned by my hard working husband shame on you AE.
Today i went to AEO in Canada and it was horrible, i went inside and all the customer service employees were talking to each other and i tried to ask them something and they kept chatting, they were both employees and the other employees were helping other people, and i understand that they were occupied but the other two didn't try to help neither me nor other customer, and there were only 3 employees helping people so i had to wait until one of them was finish but i most felt uncomfortable and had to leave like that, cleaning was ok and catalog was fine too.
I tried twice to order internationally. I'm in Thailand but I order a lot of things abroad. Both orders just never came and I had to do all the follow up. They tried to to hold off my refund when their carrier lost my package. Really awful.
I order from this company at least once a month and just love the products they have! The only time I encountered an issue is when I ordered a candle and it came broken into pieces. The representative I spoke with was helpful and kind. Their products are so cute and stylish and the prices are very affordable. Have always, and will continue, recommending others to this company.
I ordered from the website & realized after placing the order they were being shipped to the wrong address. I called to have them contact fedex to change the delivery address which the shipper can do with fedex. I was told I would have to deal with fedex myself that they are not responsible. I spoke with 4 different reps & only 1 had any idea of what customer service means. This should have been a simple fix but because ae won't contact fedex with my updated info my package is just out there somewhere. I can't change the address with fedex because I'm not the shipper. I explained this to ae reps but they won't lift a finger to help. So I am done with ae. I'm not sure why people like to create problems where there don't have to be any. Seems pointless. I will be spending my money elsewhere since ae evidently doesn't need it.
If there was an option to only give half a star that's what I would choose. I had the WORST experience with American Eagle after ordering online. Customer service was no help whatsoever and she was rude as can be. The ordering, processing and shipping procedures with these people are dismal at best. It took them 5 days just to create a label for my order and keep in mind that I only ordered 2 items! Their website constantly freezes up and apparently cannot understand a simple command. Overall it was a very disappointing, frustrating experience. I DO NOT recommend American Eagle to ANYONE!
Such expensive jeans and their skinny fit jeans are not even skinny. They look so baggy. I regret buying jeans from here! Could've got cheaper ones at pacsun or H&M. But I will say they had some nice flannels and a camo shirt which I migh purchase in the future.
I've been buying ae jeans for YEARS. I'm tall (5'11") and ae has jeans long enough for me. I'm been saddened by the company this past year. I've ordered a total of 8 pairs of jeans and only TWO have fit me close to perfect... I've even ordered identical pairs of jeans and had the inseams be FOUR inches different and waist 1-2 inches different. It's terrible. I can't rely on them for good jeans any longer. Not to mention their customer service is terrible. Has no training on products and has no helpful tips other than "our jeans can vary from style to style" this doesn't explain why I still get inconsistency even when ordering and identical pair of jeans! So sad.

Payment is secure too. The only thing you need to look out for is that there are service fees so your order may come up to a little more than you had originally expected.
When you order product from American Eagle do not plan on receiving it any time soon. It may take up to a month to receive your product if you even receive it at all. I have the absolute worst time with this store in getting what I order. I believe I am finished with ordering from these guys. Can no longer count on them. I give up - time to move on.
Worst retail company I have EVER experienced! This fake corporate greedy chain is living in the dark ages! Placed an order with this store the clothing is beyond cheap and not one item was as pictured online. If you have to send clothing back there's NO paperwork or instructions on how to do so inside the package, the instructions are very vague on their website. They explicitly said to drop it off at the post office which I did and got charged almost 13$! They refused to refund my return! They do not listen, or care to resolve anything. It's your tough crap have a nice day! Save your time and money and use better customer friendly services that have SIMPLE AND FREE RETURNS! They won't bat an eye screwing you over!
I HAVE BEEN A AMERICAN EAGLE CLOTHING WEARER FOR MANY YEARS BUT THE QUALITY HAS REALLY GONE DOWN HILL. MY FIRST PAIR OF AE jeans lasted 5 years befor wearing completely out I have a pair of shorts on today July 30 2023 purchased June 27 2023 wore three times and there is a big hole inside the left pocket and the bottom seams is raveling out.
I paid $60 for shorts that arrived clearly used. There was a bunch of sand in both pockets, and the tags were ripped off and clearly sewn back on. When I called customer service the rep had a mocking tone and said I couldn't exchange them and they wouldn't provide me with shipping materials- just a shipping label. A billion dollar clothing corporation tries to scam me by selling me obviously used clothes, and there is no explanation and no free exchange? The customer service rep also rudely hung up on me.
The site was introduced by my friend who has got several satisfactory purchase experiences for characterized t-shirts. They are well-made with good-quality materials, and what’s mentioning is that it is free for shipping and fast. I got my order today which I placed the day before yesterday, how fast and cool it is!
I ordered a shirt on a Monday night and by Thursday the package was delivered to my doorstep! They are one of my favorite companies to order online from and I'm never disappointed with any of my purchases :)
I bought underwear that stretched out so much after one wash that they didn't fit anymore. The Aerie website says nothing about needing to keep the tags on clothing for returns - all it says is that you just need to have your receipt in order to get a full refund. I tried calling the store and spoke with the manager to confirm that I could return them. The manager said that since they had been washed, I could not return them unless I had approve from customer service. I then spoke with customer service, who told me it was up to the store manager to approve or not approve returns! Customer service was so poor that the agent I spoke with just logged out of the conversation before I could even ask questions. So now I spent money on underwear that didn't fit, with no way to return them, and wasted my time. I won't shop here again.
So I went to AEO and waited outside for an open spot to be allowed into the store. Lady ask me what I was needing and I said im here for some shorts. Said the mom shorts are in that area. I said that I was wanting the boyfriend cut and she said well those are really short but there is some longer other kinds in the back. My phone kept ringing and I had to take the call and that is the only thing that saved the woman from a tongue lashing. When I was leaving to continue the call she said, I didn't think they would work out. In case this is ur store policy, I assure you I can rock the short shorts with my 50 yr old self!
I would give no stars if I could. Last two pairs of jeans I bought my son ripped in a month. And in the butt! Contacted customer care w/ pictures and they told be to try to return to a store, which they couldn't guarantee a return. Never buying again!
