I have ADT for many years,they never get problems with me. I paid Diirect.April 17 I chat with TeQuecia and ask for simple help-just letter for insurance.She was not professional and didn't tell when I will get this proof.But every week I got email from ADT to upgrade service. It's meant more money,I'm not sure about service.I'm retired old may and with low SS.But looking like ADT will put me out. Thanks with respect Anatoliy Zeldin.Till today I did not receive a letter from ADT for insurance, but again got email to upgrade service.
Had a system installed by ADT representatives and have had many issues including smoke detectors not working and 2 out of 4 cameras not functioning. Have contacted ADT online and had local representatives try to fix the situations. Online can't help because the installed system is out of date (5 years old) and local service only provides temporary fixes which fail over time. System is expensive and ineffective... I advise DO NOT USE ADT.
Most people in ADT don't know how to work the Nest system, I have spoken with several technicians and they don't know how to fix issues with the cameras, no sound ans the microphone doesn't work, if they are selling this system, they must have people that knows how to work it. Not a serious company, go with someone else.
It's endless! Every time I turn around, my cameras aren't working! I have to unplug my modem and all of my extenders and try to fix the problem! Sometimes it works, others no so much! Then if I have to call for help, I'm on the phone forever! I had to make an appointment to have a tech come out and the appointment was three weeks out! So in the meantime, I have no cameras! Also called today and they set up a virtual appointment and it is now 30 Minutes past that! It's just not worth the initial cost to put in and the monthly charge! I'm still infer contract and can't wait to e fine with ADT!
Oh, absolutely the worst system and customer service I've ever dealt with to try to call and talk to anybody they keep putting you on hold and telling you wrong department that they need to transfer you and then you hold again for over an hour camera system cuts out constantly. They say they monitor it but alarm goes off for over a minute no call no response. Their answer is alarm. Must go off for over a minute or they think it is a false alarm. Try canceling and they keep transferring you to different departments and don't cancel your service
Customer serves is of ZERO help AT ALL ab entire waste of $600 equipment for these people to straight up tell me nothing can be done about it all they will do is screw you royally I see exactly why they have a 1 star popular rating. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
They lock you into no-escape contracts. The rate you pay is a joke. They are trained to negotiate whatever rate to keep your biz even if the next sucker is paying $69/Month, you might get it for $29 because you threaten to no re-new. When I tried to cancel, they wouldn't allow me to do online, I had to talk to a specific cancellation dept. I called and waited 40 mins before I hung up. Then called back and directed my call to the new customer line. They picked up in 2 mins, 32 sec. But OF COURSe they couldn't help so they sent me to "cancellation dept" where I waitined another 42 mins. Forget this company. Equipment was faulty and didn't work properly either.
I had this service installed after moving to a new home. From day 1, this has been a jokenof a service. The installation company put alarms in spots that were unnecessary after I told them not to place then in certain spots. They oversell everything. Then we had alarms go off when the alarm was DISARMED. It took several trips for these clowns to correct the issue. They then tried to charge me to fix their screw ups. If the alarm goes off and you call back to report the alarm is a false alarm due to their defective system, you can wait 10 to 15 minutes for someone to answer. It's a crime this company can offer such a scam service
After hearing on fox news, 2/18/22, that we could be subject to cyber attack in U.S., and also no burglar alarm working after next Wed. 2/23/2020 if have 3G, must have 5G, etc., I called ADT to get clarification... spoke with Ashley... went on and on about upgrade, etc., kept asking for me to give her some time, lengthy call, then put me on hold after saying forgot where she was with conversation... then cut me off... never called me back, nor emailed me any info... she had asked me for my email add. During conversation... took forever to even get to her to begin with... wasn't going to start over, no time... this occurred yesterday morning, maybe ADT will go back and review the call... never before have I had service such as that.
Besides the fact we have great WiFi the cameras work barely and the reps are rude AF and the lies are ridiculous! How in the hell does our bill go from $90 a month the past nine months to you sending a bill for $900 you're deranged and it damn sure won't get paid. If you live in Franklin, NC DO NOT USE ADT this is the worst security place I've ever used. The people do not want to do their jobs at all and then want to get rude. And its always one lie right after the other. So no I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend anyone to them with the way my family and I have been treated by them. I guess whatever they can do to rip you off they will but remember god don't like ugly and I pray this company gets shut down. So have the day every single one of you people at this adt here truly deserve!
I had ADT put a system in my auto repair they put household sensors with double stick tape on the big roll up doors. They kept falling off. Every time I complained they sent a tech out to re install them and they kept falling off. Then they sent an e Dior out with another type of sensor. I a tually installs it myself because he could not figure out how to do it himself. They then drafted my bank account $180 for the service. When I called to complain I was on the phone 2.5 hours. Now I'm having issues with my home system and I'm getting the same BS I was n the phone almost an hour today just for a contact issue. THIS COMPANY SUCKS DONT USE THEM
The equipment is just as terrible as customer service. The departments aren't even on the same page as 1 person told me I was covered for maintenance, then the manager said I was not. Had them for a few months & it's been nothing but issues. From billing, to a camera that doesn't record or have night vision, to incompetent techs who didn't place the sensors on our door correctly. I spoke to manager "Shawnee" who was a waste of time to speak to. Horrible, inconsiderate & careless. Definitely canceling ASAP and absolutely NOT recommended.
I went with your 3rd party safe streets promised me to lower my spectrum bill to $25 a month liars now I'm stuck with a 2 year contract never will go with adt they need to talk to your 3rd party safe streets and fix this it is fraud making you guys look bad never again will I go with you guys
I had technical issues with my security cameras, I requested a technician to come out and fix them, ADT technical support representative informed me after I requested the fees of $59 to be waived, that he waived and no other fee will be charged for the service.
A technician comes out and conduct the service, then the next morning my credit card was charged for the amount of $314. When I called Att Technical Support and billing they refused to revise the charge and said it's a valid charge although it was never disclosed to me not if I gave authorization for this money to be charged to my credit card. This is a very unprofessional way and kind of shady way to do business if you have a choice choose any other company to protect your home and you feel safe with. This is my experience I do not recommend ADT to anyone
The system is not working, they know it and they keep charging. You call to get service and you're transferred between Manila, Mumbai and god knows where. Every time you reach an operator on the same issue you have to repeat it all over again... they exhaust you hoping you forget you have an alarm system to worry about.
Worst experience ever. Expensive and very poor service! Was lied to multiple times. They said RING was included, it wasn't. Had to pay for replacement of faulty equipment! Look at RING directly and WYSZ. They are high quality at a fraction of the cost.
ADT overcharged me $600.00. It was a very clear mistake but something they would have had to review over 3 months. Each time i talked with customer service they said theyd get back to me. After the 4th time getting this answer, I asked to speak with a supervisor who also said someone would get back to me. That never happened. All they had to do is to look at the service i was charged for that never happened over a 3 month period. A 3rd grader could have figured this out but no one took this one. I cancelled ADT, lost my money, never received a response and changed to a local company and I now know the guy in charge so if i have a problem, i know who to contact. Bigger is not better.
These people are not in the customer service at all I called them and they started asking me about my name and phone numbers and address put me on hold for about few minutes then another person started asking my name and phone and address put on hold waiting about 25 minutes no answer then I had to hang up because I was on lunch break I couldn't wait any more. Data rating is the bad one point something means I'm not the only one complaining about customer service.
I am ADT customer almost 15 years. I sold my business to my friend and I told my friend keep ADT service. I cancel my account and my friend open new account. Customer service told me, I do not need to pay bill because I paid bill before I use service and I recommend friend open account with ADT, I got confirmation for close my account and I do not need to pay bill. After 2 weeks I got bill. I called customer service and waiting long time. I thought I do not need to pay bill. Finally I must pay bill. It's too bad. I will not recommend ADT to another friend.
ADT is worthless. When I bought my house they installed their service, however, they didn't connect my camera to the electric, so it doesn't work. I realized this after my neighbor was burglarized. Now they want to charge me to have a tech come out to connect it. I was told this is just the way it is.
Answer: Difficult to reach them and even more difficult to reach someone who can assist accurately. A lot of billing hassles.
