Very unsatisfactory and a nightmare of an experience. Would not recommend company or purchase anything from company again. Poor customer service and lack of truthful communication with customer on progress of claim. Purchased a camera and received a camera box with the camera missing. Reported immediately and took videos and pictures of package received. Customer service was called almost daily and the generic response of "we will contact you in 1-2 business days" was received but they did not call or attempt to contact customer back. The customer went to adorama in New York to address concerns and had to wait over 6 hours in lobby with no resolution. Customer had to wait Over 2 months before a refund and resolution was received. Customer had to get their bank involved and after the bank mentioned possible legal proceedings, a refund was made promptly. Customer had to pay $120 in shipping for this ordeal.
For the second time, out of 4, Adorama has messed up my order and is making a federal case out of fixing it! I ordered 2 two-packs of Lexar SD cards and they sent only one but charged for both. It has been about 10 days of back and forth and they still can't just put the second set in an envelope and send it. It's simple - they left the item out of the box and all they have to do is ship it. Instead I get emails telling me they are checking into it. B&H Photo would have just sent the missing item on the same day they received the message that the order was incomplete. Never any questions or hassles with them. Will not order from Adorama again no matter what the deal. Customer service is terrible.
Just received another order from Adorama Camera. Placed order yesterday - received less than 24 hours later. If that's not excellent service, I don't know what is! Packaging was perfect and the item is exactly what I needed. I'd give 10 stars if I could
I have used Adorama extensively with never a problem. I have bought new photography gear and used gear. Every experience has been outstanding. The 30 day return policy is a huge bonus when buying used gear. I have found the ratings on used equipment to be at least as good as it states, usually better. I outfitted almost my whole studio through them and they have always been helpful. I literally an not say enough good about them. After spending tens of thousands through them, I can honestly say I am very comfortable using their services.
I ordered a pair of binoculars with 2nd day shipping and it took 7 days to get them. I call that SLOW shipping. Their customer service is very poor in my experience. They are my last choice when ordering something but in this case they were the only ones that had this item in stock. Never again will I buy anything from them again.
Everything went very smoothly. Nothing was confusing, and it all seemed very streamlined. Package arrived on time. Had a question about delivery and my questions was answered by the company by email quickly.
No problems with the headphones themselves, they are fantastic. My only issue is how they are shipped. They are shipped in the manufacturers box which has their name and branding all over the exterior. Not a good thing when these products are left on the front porch or door step of townhouses or apartments. It should be packed in a plain box that doesn't reveal the product and also offers more protection for expensive items such as these headphones.
Very happy with my on-line purchase. Needed some photo albums to go old school as I found boxes of family photos when going through my dad's storage unit - too many to scan, so I was pleased to be able to find a photo album with enough pages to store my family's photos.
I bought my Sony A9 at a better price than advertised by others and brought other lens as well. Now I just bought the second Tamaron lens. They inform you when they shipping and followup to ask if things went well. Will continue to use them in the future since I am very happy with their service
Bought a Magic Mouse for $59.99, $39.99 after $20 rebate. Filled out the online form and mailed in all my materials and received a denial a week or so later due to incomplete rebate form. Email said I was missing the serial number barcode, which does not exist.
Clever deception to make the rebate requirements impossible to complete while simultaneously making this fact impossible to know prior to purchase.
Adorama's business is fraud.

I messed up. The serial number WAS on the package. I was too rushed, saw the one UPC and assumed that was it. There was another in an unusual spot on the packaging.
After sending that in my rebate was promptly approved.

I bought a digital VHS convertor from Adorama through Amazon. After many hours of struggling to get the product to work and then many hours of talking to Adorama, Terratech, Amazon, etc., Adorama promised to take the product- this is after extreme perseverance and threats to report them. Now that i ask them to return the product which has never worked, they will not take it back and refund or replace it. I spoke to 5 people in one afternoon there and each person gave misinformation, some hung up and the manager has not returned my call. Can this all just be negligence or intentional-- I wonder. I would give them a very low rating. Spread the word and protect others from these people.

I ordered a pair of Klipsch floorstanding speakers through Adorama and was blown away! The price Adorama was able to offer for these speakers is unreal and the shipping delivery was top-notch. This was my first time ever hearing about Adorama. Order shipped late and arrived late and damaged. When I called to see about a damage refund (it worked so I wanted to keep it) all they wanted to give me was $25 on a $900 order. They decided $50 was ok but I've been waiting on my refund for over a week now. Contacted them 5 times for this one refund and I just get the same "it's been requested and should be in your account in 2 days." Customer service lies to you just get you to hang up the phone. Currently waiting on a supervisor to call me back but I doubt that will happen.

My order arrived precisely and on time but it was supposed to be a gift for my wife, but it's like am a little old school. She want a red 13 inches touch screen and other things. I haven't even opened it yet, but I am very familiar with the PlusTek Scanner. I have an older one that is no longer supported due to age, but when it was running I was very happy with the results. I expect nothing less than top quality with this one! You can see they are basically the same in every way except color and specs. The company puts their money where it counts... The product itself! The top unit is the new 8200i.
The battery backup was sold by Adorama was the best deal I could find.
Being quite a heavy piece, the parcel experienced some damages during shippment.
Thankfully the unit is still working fine, at least for now.
EBay item description did not match item description on company's website. Company blamed eBay for posting it wrong and offered no rectification at all. Told me to contact eBay to return, but I had used before I noticed the discrepancy. Blamed the whole thing on eBay. Never get my business again.

Stay far away. I ordered an expensive Epson printer from them. It had a $250 rebate, but required the UPC code from the carton. The carton came damaged with pieces of outer cardboard ripped off, and among them was the UPC code. Adorama would not do anything about it, so I was out $250.00. I will never buy anything from them again. They were responsible for getting everything to me in one piece, and they did not, but they would not make good on their problem.
