What about shoe & Boot size? Are then true to ur shoe size? Do I order the size I wear or do I need to order a half size bigger?

Hi, I usually wear a US 8 or a UK 6. Are 6pm shoes true to size? Meaning if I ordered a closed toe shoe in my normal size, would it fit?
