Woeful service

I wouldn't recommend using VeriFone for your business. I've been dealing with them for a few months now. Trying to get money out of these guys is like pulling teeth; constant slow emails back and forth, asking for loads of personal info and when I finally get a refund its less than what it should be. If I were a business using 2checkout for my merchant services and it took a couple of months for one of my customers to get a refund that would reflect very poorly on that business. Which is exactly what it has done and following this review they will get a bad review also. I would consider other options with better standards for your business.

They stealing your money

The worst service ever. And also illigal.
They put you under "verification process' any time they want and how many times the want after they approve the account. At this moment they block all your transaction and hold the money without any deadline an without notifying you. So you are loosing customer while they are doing this "process"
They also can refund any purchase if they think it is violation the rules. On the questio what exactly violated their rules, the answer is - according to our internal policy we wil not share this information with you. So they just take a lot of money for transactions and after present your money to your customers.
Never ever use them!

Shockingly bad. Would never recomend these con artists. I bought software that doesnt let me log in despite reseting my password now have to go through a paypal dispute and these idiots have still got the cheek to argue about it

Thieves!

Purchased software and was charged an additional "setup and installation" fee of more than the software - and I never wanted the service! Website trickery meant to trick unknowing users. I know better and still got caught. Reported to the Northern CA BBB.

$#*! 2checkout service.
Its totally worse, they aren't able to recover my account due to their own system glitches.

Point be noted here, they said me that our two step authentication system has some glitches. Therefore you have to create new account. What the $#*! is this.

I have also tried for new account but system not accepting my application. Its just a fake company, be conscious about 2checkout.

Havent find even single positive review about this company from other sites like:

Got a payment from my client in march which was estimated to reach my account on 1st April, on 1st April they said it will be done by 7th April and today on 7th they say 22nd April, when i asked them why they are delaying it they restricted my account for no reason.

Please note - I have been a loyal customer in 2checkout and in years i have no refunds so any dispute, This time when i got an excellent project and payment they restricted my account with no reason.

Guys please never use 2checkout personally it will make you mentally harassed.

As we all know as an entrepreneur we all need payment as we can pay to our staff and people working on the project and if your payment will be on hold how will you work…

Think about it: if it can happen with us it can happen with you too…

I tried to update my URL and my Bank they refused. They say I need a proof of sales first. But the first online business I started was a test for one month and I closed it so no sales but now I am serious about my new online store and I went to university and graduated in digital marketing to succeed in business. I can't understand why is it so hard to update my URL and my Bank! I can't trust them with my money any more... I should be the one who decides where to transfer my money. Isn't this true?
So be careful to work with these guys.

I contacted them because I was unable to activate IObit Malware Fighter 4 PRO.
I eventually got it activated but had to endure a never ending sales scam saying my computer was running slow because of virus or a third party. I told them my computer was running very well till I contacted them! They tried to tell me that csrss. Exe (in Task Manager) was a trojan and should not be there! Thankfully I told them I wanted to end the session without doing anything but activating the IObit software I had purchased. I have since found that csrss. Exe is an essential part of win32. They are evidently Cust Serv for various companies because I had to tell them what companys software I was trying to activate. I have no problem with IObit (so far) but Avangate customer service is a scam and should be avoided!

I received urgent email that my domain name with Godaddy has expired. I clicked on the link to renew for 2 years. Never got confirmation.

My domain name had not expired, and no further years were added.

I googled the name on my credit card charge. I called, had to leave a message of course, and it is Highly unlikely that they will return the call (if they do, i will post)

Was to be issued a refund on a product, the company was using 2checkout.com, instead of issuing a refund for the amount, was charged a 2nd time for the product.
Don't trust this company. Now have to fight with the company I purchase the product from but also my credit card company to get not only the 1 charge back as a refund but also the 2nd charge.
What a rip off...

I have not a clue what this company does and I have never contacted them or used
Their services, but I have a charge of $16.18 on my American Express card. I only use this card for automatic monthly debits, Direct TV, etc. I never use this card on the Internet, but
Now I have a charge from this Internet scam outfit. I have turned this over to the American
Express Fraud Division. It's not a matter of the amount charged it's now a matter of having
A new card issued with a new account number. Now I have to notify all the automatic debits that I have a new card number, all thanks to Avongate. I read the reviews before
Writing this, obviously it's a crooked Internet scam. Maybe the FTC should look into them

This is the first time that I'm going to write a review, because I was very frustrated about their services, and their technical helpdesk.
I've opened an account 4 weeks ago, after 1 week, the status was Under Evaluation, I've tried to contact their technical helpdesk, but no answer, I got an answer after 2 weeks saying that I need to provide more documents, which I did, but after 2 more weeks, I got a message saying that my request is declined for no obvious reason.
Maybe they think that all Africans are scammers, it's a shame.

Time Wasters

2Checkout is a synonym for disappointment. World's lousiest customer service, bland replies and will make you wait for ages when answering your queries. What's even worse, they have their own opinion on what you can sell and what not. After 2 months of continuous struggle, taking each and every confidential document from me, they came back to me telling that my account has been rejected because my products do not conform to their standards. Guess what those products are? SOME BY MI! A skincare brand which is available on every frigging skincare website including iherb, Namshi, Sokoglam, 6th Street, Yesstyle, Stylekorean, Sharafdg, Walmart, Amazon and where not.

In their final email, they said they cannot support my business forgetting that I had merely applied for their service, not for their support!

Stay away from them.

DO NOT use 2checkout.com (2CO) or you put your business at RISK. They can shut you down without any warning! My account had few chargebacks last month and my trust built up with 2checkout over 4 years is complete GONE. All my subscriptions are GONE. DO NOT trust 2checkout.com, you will be regret!

This company has failed to do what they say they will do in regards to a refund.
I only used them because they were the contracted processors to pay on a website: Ayalabarstore.com where I bought some expensive jewelry. When I made a return and the vendor requested 2Checkout issue a refund, I was told 7-10 days I would get a refund on my PayPal Account. When 2 weeks later nothing, I inquired and was told they goofed and dropped the request, and it would be fixed in 1-3 days. If I hadn't inquired apparently no one would have noticed it hadn't been processed. It has now been 7 days, and nothing again. This was after it took me 2 months just to get the vendor Ayalabarstore.com to authorize 2Checkout to give a refund. It has been a nightmare and in the meantime I am without a good sum of money.
Stay Away.

Money vampires
December 21, 2022

Was processing some payments for my clothes store by verifone, when it should be payed, they blocked my account for next confirmation. When, i confirmed all orders, which were made, they didn't pay me at all. And now they blocked my account at all. I did not have any chargebacks or refunds at all.

Funds not transferred

I decided to cancel my Avangate account (turned into a 2CO account) and get my remaining USD 500 back. I opened a ticket to request the cancellation but after I mentioned I wanted to cancel, the support team started to ignore my tickets.

Also, according to the 2CO sales report, I have 8K in sales but my fund transfer report shows 4K (there is 4K difference between sales and funds transfer). They also went unresponsive when I asked them to further investigate into this issue.

So far is 30 days of completely unresponsive support.

I assume my money is lost to this fraud company.

They work for MANY software companies and once they get into your device, consider it toast. They PLANTED malware in that another company had to FORCEFLLY remove. They are rude, obnoxious and will quite literally rip you off. Not to mention the never ending phone calls... up to 15+ per day, all day, everyday. I can't believe these big name companies use them for tech support! They make ConnectTech look like angels (and they're not either). Don't make the mistake of EVER contacting them or downloading from them!

They fraud, thry will suspend your acount anytime without a notice o warning, they will not provide any reason or voilation to suspend your account, you will get an email that due to internal risk we have close your account permanently. That's it

Rude and unhelpful - Save yourself the trouble
Rude and unhelpful. They kept asking for more and more documents (always waiting at least 2 days before responding, losing me 2 weeks). In the end, without any reason, they just posted a standard copy-paste message and deleted my account.

Another provider had no such problems and i was trading in less than a week.

STAY AWAY FROM 2CHECKOUT!
