2 potted plants valued $100 ordered online for same day delivery. Florist was selected since they advertise that they are located in the same town to be delivered to. Very efficient telephone system, and polite customer service.
Problem is, we received email notification of delivery, but we found that it wasn't
When following up, they said it will be delivered by 7PM. It wasn't.
They said it will now be delivered the following day. They said they tried calling and noone answered. The plants were for a Party. There was no indication that they would only deliver if they spoke to them first.
We cancelled the order.
We found that we were speaking to a service, who referenced that they were calling the florist! We asked to speak to the florist directly and they said we couldn't. So we dont even know what florist was used.
I went back to the site, and under 'customer service policies', the fine print says they'll deliver within their area, with their trucks, unless they don't, so basically they are located in NJ, and the delivery was in NY, 4 hours away. So they called the local florist for us.
Did not go well.
