Ayala Bar, an Israeli Jewelry artist with much acclaim, and has beautiful products.
It is with great disappointment that due to the experience of returning expensive merchandise, that I will likely never buy from them again.
The website does not have a US phone number or toll free to resolve problems, only an Israeli phone number. Their website directs you to a 24/7 available service email that gives no replies.
I returned jewelry to their directions, it was received by the US site to mail it to.
It took my tracking down the US distributor from internet research (no phone number was on the invoice for anyone to contact) and a facebook post to get a response to my refund request and now 2 months later it is not resolved.
Finally I got a response but only because the US distributor helped me get one., A manager finally authorized a refund but the refund had to come through a payment processing contract company, 2checkout.com. I was told by 2Checkout the refund would take 7-10 days, it didn't come after 2 weeks. When I inquired, it took a week to get a reply, then I was told the claim had not been processed. It was promised 1-3 days a refund, but it has been a week and nothing.
It is sad when a talented artist does not care enough about her customers to encourage repeat business.
Recommendation: order her jewelry from a store online in the US that sells some of her stuff. Artfullyadorned.com I've learned has wonderful customer service and sells a lot of her work.
