I paid over $100 for flowers to be delivered on Mother's Day, and they never arrived. I received a confirmation email of delivery, but they were never delivered. My mom as at home all day anticipating their arrival. I emailed customer service and their reply was. "They were delivered". I then called customer service, and they had absolutely NO idea what happened to the order. The representative Nikka said "Mother's Day is every day. Your mom will be happy to get them even if they are late." WOW. Even though that may be true, I paid for a service that I did not receive! I asked to speak with a manager, and she said there is no manager available. I asked her when will they be available? She said, "in a few days". DAYS? After being put on hold several times, I decided to then cancel the order. She offered me no reference #, and I have NO idea how or when I will receive my money back. Unreal.

NEVER, EVER AGAIN!
May 14, 2018

I will never order flowers from this company again! I should have checked the reviews. I ordered flowers for my Mom for Mother's Day. The flowers never arrived! I emailed the company and got not response. I then tried to call the 800 number and was disconnected. I called back and was forced to leave a voicemail..., really! What a joke-my Mom has NO flowers and I am out $90+

On their website, it says Satisfaction Assured. That is a crock!
I am a Canadian Customer, I have used 1800flowers.ca 10 times in the last 4 years. This year, I paid $85.03 Canadian (that is $66.32USD) on May 8 for a flower delivery on May 10 for Mothers day. They were not delivered, on the 10th, the 11th, the 12th or even on Mothers day itself, the 13th!
When I emailed, I got a prompt refund of $60.95USD. However, because (I guess), I am dealing with customer service in the US for a Canadian order, I am short $5.37USD.
I called today and spent ½ an hour on the phone with customer service, to complain about the non delivery and the short refund. The nice person on the call understood the problem and wanted to help me, after 20 minutes on the phone she could not process the credit because my account has already been credited once and wanted to pass me to the billing department to settle the difference. After another 10 minutes on the call, she could not get through and asked me to call them directly.

Well, Im not going to that. I have spent enough time on the problem already. I am going to take a $5.37 loss on this transaction and I am NEVER going to do business with 1800Flowers.ca again. I am going to tell anyone who asks, never to use 1800flowers.ca and explain what happened.

Please understand, at this point, it is not about the $5.37 USD, it is the principle, I should not have to pay for a failed delivery!

Horrible service!
May 13, 2018

I ordered them to arrive 2 days before mothers day. They still had not arrived by 8 pm on mothers day. I called to check on them and customer service told me that the florist had run out of flowers, but that they would try to get a different arrangement sent out in 2 days (2 days after mothers day!) and that their supervisior approved to only charge me for the flowers, not the service charge of 20 bucks. Ridiculous. Why was I not notified in time to make a substitution? Needless to say I canceled the order, asked for a refund, and now will apologize to my mother for the lame service of this company.

I had really bad experience with 1800-flowers today. It is Mothers Day. I ordered flowers for my mom the day before. The site gave me options to either deliver on 5/12 or 5/13. I selected 5/12. But the flowers was not delivered yesterday nor today. When I called in, I was told my order was not able to be pulled out. I got a text message after 9 pm, saying the flowers got delivered. But when I called my mom, no one knocked on the door at all. I called customer service again. The rep told me the local florist is closed, she can not do anything for me, the supervisor is on another line, asked me to call in tomorrow.

If they got enough business, simply say the order cant be delivered on time, I will find other gift, or other florists. It is not right to take the order but not deliver on time. On top that, fake the delivery. I asked for the signature of delivery. The answer I got was no details about the signature!

What kind of company is this! Will never order from this business again.

I ordered Mother's Day flowers from 1800Flowers and they did not get delivered. I sent an email and got no response. They said they sent a voicemail to my home phone, which I did not get. When I called to find out what was happening I was told that the bouquet I ordered was not available in the recipients area. It's a mixed flower bouquet. That's it. When the service rep gave me product keys to enter so I could pick another bouquet, none of the product keys worked on the site, so I could not see what was being sent as a replacement. I could not get delivery on the date I chose either. The flowers were to be sent a few days prior to Mother's Day. Now they won't be delivered until two days past Mother's Day. This is unacceptable. I'm not happy at all. The bouquet that was chosen was also of lesser value and a refund will not be given. Stay away from this company. I've used them in the past and had no issues. It's going downhill fast. The other issue is that the call center is so noisy and it's hard to understand the agents. UPDATE: The second bouquet was not delivered either. They said there were no florists in the recipients area. There are over 100 florists in a 50km radius of the recipient's address. I asked for a full refund and am still waiting for that. Will update if I don't receive it.

Flowers Suck
May 11, 2018

I could have purchased better looking flowers at Walmart. I offered to send them pictures and all they wanted to do was send me more flowers. Sorry to late, I asked for a refund, yes no problem. Then they told me on 15%. I hung up since it was wasting my time.

I purchased a $149 arrangement for my mom for mother's day... SOOO Excited for her to receive it today... WELL IT ENDED-UP BEING SUCH A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!

My mom sent me an email this morning, which read: "Thank u for beautiful, thoughtful arrangement. Love the colors. Unfortunately, they used flowers that we're not fresh, broken stems and dropping flowers. I have called them. They offered to send a replacement to deliver tomorrow, but i said no. I told them I would keep this one but to credit you for arrangement. I talked to Justine in sales and she noted all this in your record. U must call *******030 to get your credit. Sorry u have to go through all that for such a lovely gift. Thank u. I love u."

In addition, the flowers look NOTHING LIKE the photo on the website! See photos below! The bouquet they delivered was a FRACTION of the size I anticipated for the cost! WHAT A SHAME!

YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES 1-800-FLOWERS! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM YOU AGAIN! SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW!

Tried to send flowers to my daughter for National Nurses Week. Supposed to be delivered on Tuesday, here it is Thursday night and no flowers. The customer service cannot communicate clearly in English nor understand what I explain to them. I was promised a call and a resolution and still haven't gotten that. I demanded a refund but I think I am whistling in the wind. I am so mad I can't think straight and these idiots cannot understand my insults. What a complete waste of time and money. NEVER AGAIN you jerks.

Ordered what was supposed to be a nice arrangement for a close friend who's daughter's wedding was the same day. The delivery was supposed to happen by 1pm. My wife and I both received repeated calls from heavily Indian accented call center people asking permission to tell the recipient our name, when the order and the card clearly stated that information. After multiple calls throughout the day/afternoon, another call indicated that they mixed up our order with another. The caller apologized and agreed to provide us with a $50 credit. In the end, the flowers arrived minutes before the recipient had to bolt out the door for the wedding. We received an email from the company with a $20 voucher to apply toward the next purchase. Also that next morning, our friend sent a picture of the flowers thanking us, however we noticed the flowers in the arrangement were wilted and nowhere near the quality or content of the arrangement advertisement. These cost about $70! I emailed the company customer service providing two side-by-side photos showing the advertisement next to the actual arrangement. A couple days later I emailed them again asking for a full refund. Heard nothing back. Please don't waste your time, money and risk ruining special important events by using 1800flowers.com!

I would like to add to all the customers who gave one star these people are a third party all they do is the arrangements the local florist do all the work and 1800flowers takes a percentage leaving the local florist who do all the work with very little to gain. I have posted pics on FB and trip advisor to show how bad 1800flowers really are. SAVE YOUR MONEY MAKE THE TRIP TO LOCAL FLORIST YOURSELF TO GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH THIS SEVICE IS HORRIBLE STOP GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY TO DO NOTHING.

Buyer Beware
April 19, 2018

Buyer Beware! I purchased the flowers that look like a dog and a cat together from these crooks. They charged me $107 for them. My wife got them and she sent me a picture of them. They looked like something sat on them. The heads of the dog and cat were all smashed down and you couldn't even see the eyes of the dog as they were pushed way down inside the head. The eyes and whiskers for the cat were also messed up. So I contacted these people about the flowers and they apologized and told me they would redeliver the flowers at their cost. I said alright that's fine as I understand things happen. Well the next day I got a phone call from someone at their business who could barely speak English. But I gathered from our phone call that the flowers had been delivered again. She also wanted to give me a gift certificate so I would use them again. Well I think not. Seven hours later and my wife has yet to get the redelivered flowers. They lied to me. So I told them to forget it. I learned my lesson about 1-800 flowers and I won't ever use them again. However I feel as if it is my duty to warn the general public about them. So you have been warned but if I were you I would use another floral service.

THIEVES!
March 26, 2018

Ordered from Harry & David yesterday and signed up for the Passport Annual Membership - $29.99. Today I discover I was not only charged $123.60 for they two actual items and the Membership but there is ALSO a $99.36 "hold" on my bank account for 3-5 days. This is AFTER my items were already debited from my account! No need for a "hold"! Called Harry & David who explained the "hold" and I asked to cancel the Annual Membership. Referred to 1800FLOWERS.COM and told that since the Membership was "used" it could not be cancelled. Told them I would pay for shipping on items ordered and to cancel Membership. Still they refused. So now I'm paying $29.99 to ship two items and stuck with a year long service I'll NEVER EVER use. THIEVES!

My sister and I ordered flowers for my grandfathers funeral from all the grand kids but the $250 grave site arrangement did not get delivered. A confirmation email was received from 1-800-Flowers saying the flowers have been delivered but the flowers were NOT at the funeral home. I called and she kept insisting that the arrangement had been delivered. I told her on multiple occasions that I was at the funeral home and had spoke with the funeral home director. The arrangement was not there. He even showed me the delivery log for that day. No flowers from me. I asked for the name of the local florist that was used so I could contact them myself in order to resolve the issue but the woman said it was "confidential information" and refused to give their info. She placed me on hold and says she called the florist. She came back and stated they insist the arrangement was delivered but again refused to give me their name so I could resolve the issue and speak to them myself. I verified the address for the funeral home and my grandfathers name to ensure they had the correct address. All the info was correct. The woman offered half a refund and 20% off any arrangement for Mother's Day. I paid $250 for this arrangement so receiving $125 back with no flowers is not acceptable. She offered to have the arrangement reordered at no cost to me and have them delivered to my grandfather and grandmother's house. I did not accept that as this was spray that goes on the grave site therefore that was not an appropriate arrangement to send to my grieving grandmother at her home. At this point I was livid. It literally took me crying and yelling at her as I stood in the parking lot of the funeral home arguing with her instead of spending time inside with my grieving family to get a full refund. That was the worst experience EVER! My family and I will never ever do business with 1-800-Flowers or any of their affiliates again.

Ordered flowers for a funeral. Never got them.

We ordered over $200 in flowers from 1-800 Flowers for a funeral. We ordered bouquets (far enough in advance), but when we arrived at the funeral home, the flowers were not there. We called to see what happened, and were assured that they were, in fact, delivered. We had multiple people on the phone for hours before the funeral trying to track down the flowers before finally being told that they cancelled the order (we were never notified). The funeral had begun by the time we found answers, and to fix their mistake, they offered to give us a slight discount and different bouquets. The solution was insulting, and it had come too late. We never got the flowers we needed for my uncle (a husband, brother, father, grandfather, and so much more) and the solution offered to us was pathetic. They could never make up for the insult given to my family on that day.

Mishandled Order
February 19, 2018

Order didn't come in on scheduled date. I had to call them and they asked if I would accept the next day. The next day I got half of the order. I called them again and they asked if the other half could be delivered the next day. Nothing came so I asked for a refund and now they're saying no because it was delivered even after I told them I got nothing... bad service all around

What a pathetic company. I've tried using them a couple of times throughout the years (mostly because I found coupons) and the flowers they've sent each time were already dead. This time I finally complained and asked for a refund. For 4 days they gave me the runaround claiming it had been processed when PayPal clearly showed nothing had been sent. When I contacted them again afterwards they insist it had been sent and to contact my financial institution. That's not how PayPal works! Finally had to file a chargeback to get my refund. Absolutely pathetic company and I will never deal with them again.
