These people are unethical. I received a promotional email that promised 18 flowers, a vase, and cookies for $34.99. When I accepted that option, the check out did not show the cookies. I called and talked to "Ishmael". I told him the problem. He said if I wanted the cookies, I had to pay an additional $5. I told him that is not what the ad said. He WOULD NOT honor the ad. I told him that was fraudulent. He did not care.
I also sent an email to their customer service, and received a boilerplate response from "Mary Cacacho". The response did not honor their advertisement, told me how to unsubscribe, and then, stupidly, said that they looked forward to serving me in the future!
BEWARE IF YOU USE THIS PROVIDER. THEIR OPTIONS DO NOT ALWAYS SHOW UP IN THE CHECKOUT. I will never use them again.
I ordered an arrangement called "Expressions of Pink" for my Mom's birthday... the medium sized arrangement. It was supposed to have pink roses and carnations, which are her favorite. She received a small arrangement with red, purple, and white flowers that were already turning brown. No pink roses... no carnations... it looked nothing like the picture. I complained because she was unhappy and I paid a lot of money for it. They promised to replace it and never followed through. All I got was a $20 off coupon and an excuse on why it didn't arrive!
I ordered flowers for my sister's birthday. I gave all the information needed to deliver them on the day. They didn't deliver until 4:52 on that day. She didn't get her flowers for her birthday. When I called customer service they gave me is no satisfaction. They wouldn't let me talk to his supervisor. And the only thing they can tell me is that it was delivered and signed by a co-worker. No name of the co-worker. I will never order from them again. You shouldn't either.
THE WORST experience I've ever had in purchasing a service and never being taken care of. Ordered an early arrangement for step daughter to be delivered to her high school so her friends could see on Thursday night to be delivered for Friday. I called that Friday morning to confirm florist received order and everything was in place. Friday afternoon I never receive notification of order sent. I call and come to learn the florist couldn't make it because of the late order. Ok fine I'll give them the weekend so it can be delivered Monday. AGAIN no delivery for monday- the florist couldn't get a driver. Tuesday! They needed approval of them using their own different flowers because they didn't have pink and white ones like I ordered. FINE! Just send some flowers. NOPE! They for some reason couldn't do it still. Wednesday, we are promised up and down the arrangement is out for delivery. AGAIN we were LIED to! After 120 hours of them having the order and not being able to provide a simple service I finally asked for a refund. PLEASE do not waste your time and energy on such an incompetent company. UNPROFESSIONAL!
I ordered flowers for our daughter who passed her Bar examination today. They took our money to deliver roses to her work by 5 pm today. At 4:45 pm no delivery was made. We called customer service who said they did not service that delivery area (a large metro area of NH). They never called or sent an email indicating they could not make good on the order. Now its way too late to correct their mess. Clearly, they knew when the delivery zip code was entered if they could honor the sale.
I will never use them ever again and I certainly will share this experience with as many people as I can.
I provided them with everything they need to deliver the $80.00 flowers to my girlfriend who is a nurse. This included her name, phone number, department, the floor in the building etc... The tracker is hours behind on the actual status, and it just says "delivered". No time or any additional information. So of course she didn't get them, I'm fighting telling her flowers were missing (since she did not know about them), and calling customer service is 100% pointless since they cant even locate or contact the vendor during the time of the call. So after 4 different times calling, I finally asked for my money back! The rep tells me the can offer another delivery... ( Why the h*ll would I want to go through that again). I told her to process my refund, and she advised it could take up to 1-2MONTHS... I told her my back points money on my card for returns asap. She states that's just the typical wait...
Also there isn't way to confirm my refund has been processed. So all and all... I should have gone to a local florist, and delivered the flowers myself! Horrible company!
IT'S UNFORTUNATE THAT WITH THE SIZE OF THIS COMPANY AND ALL THE BUSINESS THEY RECEIVE THAT THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING A MAJOR PIECE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT INCLUDES, ACCURACY ON DATES OF DELIVERY, FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THEIR VENDORS ON TIMELY DELIVERIES & PRESENTATION OF THE PRODUCT. CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE SEVERAL TIMES, THE REP WAS NON-SCHELAUNT ABOUT THE FACT THAT MY ORDER WAS NOT DELIVERED ON THE DATE SPECIFIED THE 1ST OR 2ND TIME. WHICH PROMPTED ME TO CHECK ON SEVERAL OTHER ORDERS FOR FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS, IN TURN THOSE TOO HAD THE WRONG DELIVERY DATES, BEING REFUNDED WAS NOT THE OPTION I WANTED, I TRUSTED & DEPENDED ON THIS COMPANY TO DELIVER THE SERVICE I PAID FOR AND THEY FAILED, MISERABLY! I WONT DO OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AND FEEL SORRY FOR THE VENDORS CONTRACTED WITH 1800 FLOWERS, BECAUSE IN TURN THEY MAKE THE VENDORS LOOK BAD AND VICE VERSA, SOME OF THE VENDORS MAKE 1800 FLOWERS LOOK BAD. ULTIMATELY WHEN YOUR BUSINESS NAME IS ON THE LINE, IT'S YOUR ABSOLUTE RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE HAPPY & IF THEY ARE NOT, YOU IN TURN, DO YOUR BEST, TO FIX-IT!
The flowers were delivered to the wrong place when I placed my first order. However, I ordered from them once again and everything was fine and the delivery was smooth and fast enough. The bouquet was fantastic and worth its money.
I ordered a large bouquet of flowers and a teddy bear for my mother's 70th birthday as we couldn't be there to celebrate with her. We live in the US and they're in Canada. They online system accepted my order and was supposed to make the delivery today. At 2pm I get a phone call from their customer service that they cannot fulfill the order and not only that they cannot fulfill the order today but that they cannot fulfill the order at all and they don't understand or can't explain how my order was accepted in the first place in their system. They can only refund my payment and not only did I not get an apology or any additional consideration for this problem that they caused they said the only thing they can do is refund my money. Now my mother isn't getting anything delivered on her 70th birthday and it's because of this completely horrible company that accepted my order, accepted my money and told me at the last minute that they couldn't deliver so I didn't even have time to make any other arrangements. DO NOT ORDER from 1-800-Flowers.com. There are a lot of other companies out there that actually provide the service that you pay for.
Over 9 days ago I completed an international order to India. I had a similar problem last year while ordering a Birthday gift for a friend in India, also thru 1-800 Flowers. I explained to the customer representative, my previous experience, she said she would personally monitor the issue and follow up the day prior to the delivery. Friends birthday is Saturday, I ordered flowers and a cake for the Friday before so their wouldnt be any issues. Birthday came and went without a call from 1-800 Flowers, alerting me to any issues. I check w/friend who says, received the cake but nothing else. Call 1800 today and their response was, so sorry, no florists in that area, unable to deliver. This is a bustling city with plenty of retail stores. No mitigating call, no Bday gift for friend. I was reinbursed. It wasnt about the $. Poor customer service and follow thru. Use anyone else for international deliveries, so no one gets disappointed.
Don't order here, they charge a lot and they deliver late, not worth it. The flowers are not even that good. They're rude too. If you want your flowers delivered in time and not the next day don't order here
I ordered these flowers a month in advance thinking that this group would send the flowers over to the school during the day so the recipient could enjoy them all day and her kids and co-workers could also say congratulations for being Teacher of the Year! I thought since I was notified they were on there way at 8 a.m. that this was a local delivery and would be there shortly. They were delivered at 3:02 classes are dismissed at 2p.m. I have wasted my money on this. I am one unhappy customer and I will share this story with anyone that will listen. Next time I will go to Trader Joes buy a bouquet and deliver them myself.
I rarely write reviews and order products almost daily. However, this is one story that i had to share. I ordered funeral flowers that were supposed to be delivered on or before Sept 3rd. I sent a chat message on the evening of Sept 3rd to ensure delivery - no response. So, i called the next day (4th) at 8am to verify delivery. The reps says they are no delivered yet, but the local florist called the funeral home and verified service time and "no worries" the flowers will be there in time. They're on their way. So, later in the day i still didnt receive a confirmation of delivery. The new rep on the phone states the "local florist says they can't prepare and get the flowers there in time and will be delivered the next day! What? Seriously? SO, the 8am rep lied to me about the delivery and now they're not going to be delivered until AFTER the funeral is over. So, they returned 100% of my costs and said they would deliver the flowers to an address of my choice. So, I chose to send them to my uncle's home and gave them the new address. Keep in mind That i'm on the phone now for 45 minutes. Today, i get a message that says your flowers have been delivered. But WAIT for it - they were delivered to the wrong address. The rep from yesterday typed in the street address for the funeral home with the NEW address i gave them. Worst company ever and I would never use them again. I should've read the reviews first! I would be embarrassed to work for this company!
I went online to order a sympathy arrangement, paid $20.00 in shipping on top of $100 for a box of fruit and snacks with a pretty bow. Delivery date was supposed to be next day. 2 days later nothing delivered so I call these idiots
Of course I get someone off shore. I give them my order number, name, email address, etc. But that isn't good enough... no it's a recorded line so I need to get the date and more info too. Break my stones but I go look it up and that's when I realized they changed the date and now this isn't getting delivered for 18 bloody days! Seriously? You jerks have a SYMPATHY arrangement that you charge me $20 just to deliver and you don't tell me that it is going take a bloody MONTH? I would NEVER have ordered it! Who the hell intentionally sends condolences weeks after the person has passed?
Also, while I'm on the phone with this person who tells me that for quality control I MUST be inconvenienced to go into mygive them all this extra information, there are idiots yammering on in the background laughing which made it hard enough to hear over the VOIP line going halfway across the world (CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP COMPANY, you aren't buying american folks!), so if you are so worried about QC then start by having people in your call center maintain QUALITY PROFESSIONALISM!
This company SUCKS, I'll never do business with them again!
Ordered $140 worth of roses, balloons, candy and a teddy bear for my wife's 50th Birthday. First, flowers were delivered, but nothing else. After contacting customer support, the only follow up delivery to my wife was a 2nd batch of wilted flowers, addressed to a completely different recipient and address. Don't waste your time. Contact a florist local to the delivery.
Stay away from this company
Did not deliver the product Asked for money back. They said the will try to deliver two days later Offered 20 off next order
Placed order online at 7 AM and paid for same day delivery. They called the following day after the funeral had started to ask for more information. Information that was included in the order! Unbelievable, do not trust them if you need a quick delivery! You think for something as important as a funeral they would ask questions before the delivery day had passed?
My daughter sent me flowers for Mother's Day this year. They arrived May 18th, five days after the holiday.
The box label was on the bottom of the box so the flowers sat upside-down in the heat for a couple of hours because no one rang the bell. The blooms were broken, the stems had mold and mildew in/on them, and the ones I put in the vase did not last more than a couple of days. May 19th, I called the 800 number for the 100% Smile Guarantee and spoke to someone who did not speak English well, who promised my daughter a $20 credit and me a a new bouquet. Neither of these occurred.
A week later, May 24th, I chatted on their website and they promised my daughter a $50 refund, a $20 credit, and me a new bouquet.
None of these promises occurred. Now, I'm mad, tired of being told lies, and tired of having to make sure my daughter gets her hard-earned money's worth.
May 25th my daughter received a $20 credit for more flowers. Even if she used it, the flowers would probably not come or would come in a poor condition.
Their resolution is, "Spend even more money with us and see how badly we don't come through again." I have still not received a decent bouquet of flowers. The updated value is $75 not $90, based on the original fee my daughter paid. I still want her to receive a full refund.
I do not care about the flowers. There are still no smiles here!
I placed an order on May 7th for Mother's Day Delivery. On May 12th, I received confirmation to my email that the order was delivered. When I checked with my mom on May 13th, she said she had not received the flowers. I called customer service on May 13th (Mother's Day in the afternoon) and they said the confirmation of delivery I had received had been in error and that the flowers were out for delivery and would be delivered by 8pm that day. Flowers never arrived. Shortly after 8pm on May 13th, I spoke to a customer service rep that expressed SO MUCH regret that 1-800-flowers had messed this up so bad. She said that the flowers would be delivered on May 14th and I would be refunded in full since I had such a poor experience and the flowers never made it by Mother's Day. Flowers never arrived May 14th. Today, I called 1-800-flowers and asked when the flowers would be delivered. The rep explained that since I had received a refund, the flowers would not be delivered. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for about 10 minutes and then was hung up on. I emailed with customer service following that and they said they would not be delivering the flowers. Then I received an email saying they were working on redelivery. Then they said that they weren't. Never ever use 1-800-flowers. Worst service pretty much ever.
