I had a dead plant delivered, I was contacted almost immediately when I reviewed online. They resent plant, issued a savings pass to granddaughter who sent plant. I could not be happier with 1800Flowers. I will always use them in the future. Customer service is exceptional in this time when we need out of state deliveries.

Flowers for funeral
August 21, 2020

My friend and I orders a LARGE size of Yellow and White Sympathy Standing Spray. The photo shows on the website is pretty LARGE and beautiful. We paid $281.43 on 8/18/2020,.(Order ID: W*******5304). In reality, it looks small and not as pretty as in the photo. There are flowers that people ordered from other flowers shops, for the same price their flowers look a lot bigger and nicer than ours. We are so disappointed.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE
August 6, 2020

I called 2 days prior to my niece's birthday. NO DELIVERY! Claimed they did not deliver balloons unless w/flowers. NOW mind you, you they had 2 days to alert me to the problem. Crickets. When I called 2 days after placing the original order, they said i should have called before 2:00 pm. THIS COMPANY IS SOMEWHERE IN INDIA AND DOES NOT GIVE A CRAP. They took my money though!

I place an order on July 30 for the flowers that was Similar to a Birthday Cake for my grandma 99th birthday which supposed to got delivered on the 8/5/20 to be told the day of delivery that item out of stock! Really never order from them again!

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered in advanced for my daughters birthday. They never showed, but the money sure came out of my account on time! I called to cancel. They begged me to let them deliver a day late with a $10 refund. I said only if you guarantee a before 12pm delivery, for she would be leaving her job at that time. Here it is 2 oclock and not flowers and no $10 refund. I called back and gave them her other job address she should be at for the afternoon. Any bets they will no show? Will update tomorrow.

I had placed an order based on the flower arrangements shown on their website. The one that got delivered seems to looked like some one has done the flower arrangements for the first time. The arrangements, number of flowers was no where close to what was shown on the website. I completely understand about the flowers not being available during some season but this was not the case with this order. Seems to be they dont have a good way of checking with their local flowerist on what they have committed and the one that is getting delivered. With the technology available these day it should not be hard for them to make sure they are mee5to their commitment and expectations.

Very disappointed with the. The picture below you can see what I am talking about.

I ordered an arrangement specifically for the Waterford vase and the lavender and white flowers. Requested delivery to my cousin's house the day before her home wedding. Ordered 10 days beforehand and called Customer Service twice to make sure that if the florist didn't have the vase or had to substitute flowers, I would be notified. I was assured I would be notified and that no substitutions would be made without my permission. The arrangement was not delivered on the correct day and when I called 1-800-flowers Customer Service, I was told that they couldn't contact the florist but that they were sure they were out for delivery by 8 PM. No delivery that day. Called the next day - wedding day - assured they were on the truck and would be delivered that day for sure. They were - in the middle of the wedding. Oh, well, at least they got that beautiful Waterford vase I paid $200 for. But nope, bride sent me pictures and they were nothing at all like what I ordered. Cheap plain glass vase, dark pink flowers. Spent over 30 minutes on phone with CS, they offered me a $20 coupon. Umm, nope, never going to use it because this is my very last time using 1-800-FLOWERS. Tried for a full refund, got half and another arrangement of same value delivered to bride and groom. Plus the coupon I'll never use.
I used to order all my flowers from this company, but never again. I'll just use a local florist from now on.

I ordered a pink rose plant that was full and filled with roses. The actual plant was scrawny and had three buds. Cant upload online image, but this is nothing close. Embarrassing. Buyer beware.

On July 24,2020 I ordered the Large purple Elegant Calla Lily plant for my friend's birthday. The picture on the website showed a gorgeous, fully blossomed plant with ten purple lillies. I also asked the vase be substituted for their mosaic vase with matching tea light. On July 29th, the day of my friend's birthday, she received a skimpy, cheap looking plant with only two purple calla lillies as opposed to the ten shown in the advertisement. I can't tell you how embarrassed I was to send my friend this cheesy, inexpensive gift after paying $75 including shipping and taxes. And, it was in an ugly gray vase not the vase I requested. This was my first time using their company and my last. "What you see is not what you get!"

I ordered flowers to be delivered for my aunt funeral. I placed by order Wednesday to be delivered Friday for the family hour. For some reason the flowers could not be delivered. I called customer service about this, it was noted by the agent that the flowers needed to be at the church before 10am. He said he would notified the florist to make sure their delivered before 10am. I woke up the next morning around 11am and found they havent been delivered. I called to find out what the problems is and found out they won't be delivered until 12pm. This is completely unacceptable when the funeral starts at 10am and you deliver the flowers 2 hours later.

False advertisement

I had flowers delivered to my mother for her birthday and for what I paid for them I would like to know what the mid size arrangement looks like. I purchased the large arrangement and the flowers look nothing like the picture. I am very disappointed. That I spent what I did on this arrangement. The photos below look nothing alike!

The flowers they sent on Valentines day were dead. They said they could give me back 50% and send new ones. What good is that going to do? These guys are a complete scam - stay away!

1800flowers should be put out of business! Shameful, shameful company! And there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Call and you only get a recording with no option to speak to a live person. Their "CUSTOMER SERVICE" website actually says, "Sorry no"Bud" at this site". Try the chat option, and it's a bot asking for personal information but zero help. I ordered the yellow rose bush on the 6th for delivery on the 9th. It never arrived. I tried tracking it several times but their Order Tracking said my order number was invalid. I finally was able to track by calling the automated 1800flowes and it said the shipment was out for delivery. At 10:30 pm! Finally arrived at 3:30 pm on the 10th. The receiver sent me a picture and it was so embarrassing! This was a $5.00 clearance rake plant in a dime store container. And there's NO WAY TO REACH A LIVE PERSON FOR REFUND OR SATISFACTION of any kind. The worst delivery experience ever!

It's the worst first of all if you order and pay extra for it to get there between certain hour it won't get there. Second the actuall arrangement that gets to the recipient is a piece of trash and has nothing to do with the picture that you see in the internet. 3rd if you call customer ser ixe they al lie to you they will say they are sorry a thousand times and promise you everything and it is all a huge lie.
On the right is what I thought I bout on the left what I got.

Not only did they screw up the delivery date, but they sent the completely wrong flowers. When you call you get the Philippines they don't understand and they screw up the order stay away! Spend a little bit more Money and buy local

Horrible company

A year ago ordered flowers for a friend and they were never delivered. So two days ago I ordered flowers for my mom 90th birthday, with a day and a half advance... the flowers were never delivered but i received a text saying it was delivered.
It is such a scheme! After 2 phone calls and a lot of discussion their suggestion was that they would deliver it the day after her birthday! Really? Unacceptable!
Made them give me my money back, although they were not very happy about doing that.

I spent over $90 for flowers for large "Lovely Lavender Medley". The cheapest possible combination of red, yellow, and white flowers in the ugliest vase were delivered, insultingly different from what I ordered. Not only it wasn't a pleasant joyful experience of ordering flowers but it made me to regret why I didn't order something else.

Do not order from them, didn't get the order, would not give a refund unless I called back in a few days. I don't want flowers days and days after an occasion, thanks for nothing. I will make sure no one I know uses this service
