This company doesn't know how to do pre-authorizations on cards... they will pre-auth your card for the entire amount of your order (so it shows and comes out twice) and takes up to a week to get removed from you account!
On top of that their customer service reps are 0 help and do not know how long until pre-auth's are removed I was told 3 different lengths of time from 3 different people!
Don't order from this company!
Ordered flowers for my wife for anniversary a full day in advance. I've never used a local florist in the town where my wife works, so I didn't know which one to choose. I was under the impression that the order would be sent to a local florist and that they must at least be reputable enough to have a relationship with 1800flowers. Plus the idea of being able to look at bouquets online seemed better than calling a florist and telling them "I'm willing to spend $xxx, so make something good for that amount. Here's my credit card number."
Not long after I ordered, I received an email saying that my order had been placed successfully. Nowhere on there did it mention FedEx. Then today, the day the flowers were supposed to be delivered, I get an email with a FedEx tracking number saying they had been shipped from Olive Branch, MS and had arrived to the FedEx facility in Bossier City, LA and were placed on a delivery truck at 5 AM. That's a long way for flowers that are going to Marshall, TX! I already didn't like the fact that the flowers just bounced around in a FedEx truck for 350 miles, but I swallowed it. Then I waited and waited for an excited text from my wife letting me know that she got them. That never happened. I got an email from 1800flowers saying they would be delivered tomorrow instead. So I called and told them tomorrow isn't my anniversary, today was so just cancel it because it road 350 miles in a hot truck, then road around all day in a hot local delivery truck while all the other packages were delivered. Anyway, at least FedEx was honest and the tracking shows that they didn't even attempt to deliver. I just wish I would have found these reviews before I trusted them.
Scammers, never delivered flowers, then said they would rebate the money... 4 months, a dozen phone cal s and nothing.
They have my hundred dollars... Never ever use them, nothing but lies.
FOR ALMOST $100 USD, FOR WHICH I PAID $20 FOR EXPEDITED SHIPPING, GIVING THEM 48 HOURS TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN, A GIFT THAT SHOULD HAVE ARRIVED AT 9AM-12PM LATEST, ARRIVED AT 430PM AND THE GIFT FOR IT WAS FOR, HAS ALREADY LEFT. THE FRIEND TO ACCEPT IT, TOOK A PICTURE AND SENT IT TO ME, IT WAS A SMALL BASKET WITH SOME FRUIT, A TINY BLOCK OF CHEESE, CRACKERS AND THE CARD. FOR $100 AND EXPRESS SHIPPING? NEVER EVER AGAIN. A LOCAL PLACE WOULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB. IF YOU CAN CANNOT DELIVER AS PROMISED, IF YOU TAKE CUSTOMERS MONEY FOR IT, AND YOU CANNOT FOLLOW THROUGH, IT'S A CRAPPY COMPANY WITH NO WORK ETHIC AND NO HONESTY, JUST OVERPRICED AND A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. My parents bought flowers for my high school graduate last week. She still has not received them. My parents have called them several times. The woman they spoke to the 1st time was from Malaysia and kept making mistakes. This company is literally the worst! If you want your flowers coming on time, go to a local florist. This is utterly embarrassing for my parents!
They kept postponing my delivery date. When they finally delivered on the fourth promised date, they substituted another bouquet for the one I ordered without asking, and the delivered flowers were embarrassing.
I placed an online order on 06/06/20 to be delivered to my ailing son in the hospital on 06/08/20. I happened to check the website on 06/08/20 to confirm the time of delivery to find out the delivery date was changed to 06/09/20. No one contacted me to advise this changed. I reached out to customer service department, rep was unable to get the items delivered on 06/08/20. However, offered shipping to be refunded. The audacity of this poor suggestion of a resolution. Ultimately, I was able to get half off but still extremely disappointed. Due to Covid19, I'm unable to see my son face to face. I ordered this gift to assure him, even though I'm not physically in the room with him, his Mom & Sisters are there in spirit. I will never use 1800 flowers again, nor refer their services to anyone...
Terrible company to place an order! I am very frustrated with this company, ordered flowers to be delivered the next day and still four days after the flowers have not been delivered as of yet.
I would not recommend this company to anyone! On top of this the customer service is terrible to work with.

Terrible customer service and terrible company. Ordered flowers 4 days early for a 93rd birthday and they were never received; nor did I receive updated communication about my order. Have wasted 1 1/2 hours on the phone and issue is still not resolved.
My husband had an unfortunate incident happen and lost all feeling from chest down. I have had to change our lives tremendously. He ordered me flowers to show how much he appreciates me and they didn't even send the flowers. Got a confirmation from fedex but there was no one that came to my door. Tried to get my ruined surprise and they wouldn't even deliver them for a week from now. My husband's cancer has got him down and they will never know what they took from us! Both of us! Horrible service and will never recommend to anyone again. To them it's just flowers. To me it meant the world. Especially right now.
Initially my order was delayed. But Elser my sales rep. Made it right! She actually got it there and went above and beyond her duties. Was very helpful and my mom loved her bonsai plant! Should be more reps like her! I will use 1800 flowers again.
Ordered Mother's Day flowers. They never arrived, after calling they weren't able to find a local shop to deal with but STILL CHARGED US! It's been almost a month and still haven't received refund. We've chased them so many times. They look in their system and "can't find order" then after a long time find it, apparently refund is being processed. We'll see... what a scam of a business! Not delivering, not refunding and loosing order info. Chasing after a refund is unacceptable. Stay away. Stay far far away from this company! We've looked them up on BBB (after). I'll save you the time and headache but saying find a small local flower shop.
FYI they charge you double the amount of your order to make sure the bank is "verified". (Both pending) but I'm out $80 until the bank processes it. Won't be ordering from this site again.
Flowers for a graduate delivered late. Ordered flowers 5 days early and received them one day late. So if you want someone who delvers on time look somewhere else. These people will argue even if you have the order in your hand. They refused to listen and even hung up on me. When I called back this gal thought I was going to back off on my complaint if she threatened to call her manager. Huh? The flowers were okay I guess. One day later than when I ordered but ok.
Deceptive sales with regard to replacements for orders they could not fill; after assuring that the replacement would be comparable in cost and would include the 20% that was part of the original order, it did not happen. The replacement was not viewable on the website while I was speaking on the phone with the rep, but once the delayed receipt came, it was $20 above the original order with a 20% coupon for FUTURE use which is accessible to anyone at any time. Customer service uses dishonest policies lacking in transparency.
I placed an order for a wreath for a funeral of my god-daughter's youngest son who was a soldier in active duty in the Marines and who died in a car accident at the age of 20. The wreath I ordered had the colors of the flag because it was going to be on a stand alongside the coffin which was going to be draped with the American Flag. I repeated, at least 5 times, to the person taking the order that I wanted the wreath with the colors of the American flag because it was going to be next to the coffin... Long story short, a wreath was delivered with a different designed and only with with white and blue flowers. The day before the funeral I received an email confirming the upcoming delivery. A photo of the wreath that was going to be delivered was included in the email. That was not the wreath I ordered. When I called to complain, it was already too late to contact the flower shop because it was after hours. They agreed to return half of what I paid. But it wasn't until I disputed the remaining charge with the credit card company that I was abe to get a refund for the remaining balance paid. 800flowers.com did not refund me the remaining balance, it was the bank issuer of the credit card that issued the remaining credit.
So I ordered flowers for mother's day they took the money out as soon as I order them which is to be expected. Mothers day came NO FLOWERS so I went on the site and it said they was going out the following weekend so I just figured I put in the wrong date. The following weekend has came and went and still no flowers. I will never use this company again
Ordered two miniature roses. Received one, but never received other. Talking to customer service gets you nowhere. Told I only ordered one for two charges of 74.02, 17, 72 on my account. Received two tracking numbers and two confirmations d numbers and arrival dates. Only one rose arrived. Very, very disappointed with their service
This is the worst service ever never delivered my flowers they sent a replacement order that didn't make it either when I called they said they couldn't place another replacement order so never got my service
I'm so upset. This site is a scam. My mother's flowers have not arrived and they were due yesterday. I was hung up on by multiple reps and no one provided their name. They need to be reported.
