I placed an order for a plant to be delivered on 05/20/2020 but after the order was placed 1800FLOWERS changed the date to 06/17/2020. Mind you they were a birthday gift for my mother in law 05/21/2020. They were supposed to be delivered on 05/20/20. When I called to see the status of the order they rep was extremely rude and said that there was nothing that they could do. I cancelled the order and requested to speak to the manager but I was told they don't have managers on duty due to Corona. No birthday flowers from this horrible company. Once again DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
Didn't receive the flowers I ordered, the upgraded size or on the date. Called mult times and each time told I would get a refund and then the next time, told that they didn't enter it and could reship my order. Just call a local florist or go to the grocery store.
I placed an order for flowers for my 30th anniversary for my wife two weeks prior to the event. I was promised a morning delivery on the 18th of may, at 1:30 that afternoon I contacted the company and was told us get them by 8:00 p.m. They'd email me when delivery was complete. At 5:00 p.m. I got my notice of delivery. I called them to let them know it was not. I was then told they would call me back at 7:30 p.m.and confirm My anniversary delivery as well as a full credit back for my trouble. Never received the call. I called them this morning and asked where is my flowers and after being placed on hold was told they would be delivered some time today and I could get a 20 dollar refund which would be in my account in 5-7 business days. I didn't ask for money back I ask for my wife's flowers which I paid for 18 days ago and what happened to my full credit for a future purchase, suddenly that $75 turned into a $20 refund. What kind of a way to run this business is this?
Terrible! My boyfriend wasted over $80 on flowers. They looked nothing like the picture and I had to cut and arrange the dying flowers myself! For over $80! Wish I would had been able to stop him from buying from this company
The 1-800-Flowers.com Celebration Passport auto-renewal membership program is deceptive and it manipulates its customers. The customer cannot conveniently manage or opt-out of the auto-renewal process from their 1-800-Flowers.com online account: the credit card used for renewals and called the "default" card is not visible in the Passport Profile section nor, under this section, is there direction informing the customer that they must call or email customer service to cancel auto-renewal. This allows 1-800-Flowers.com the quick convenience of making money with auto-renewals but at the expense of inconveniencing the customer through a difficult cancellation process.
Before my membership expiration date, I was notified by email from 1-800-Flowers.com that they were giving me a 45-day extension to my membership. But that didn't happen. In any case, to ensure that my membership would not be auto-renewed, I had confirmed that no credit card was listed under the Payment Methods section. In addition, although I had no visibility to the "default" card that I had used the year before, that stored card had an expiration date. Despite all of that, they somehow still charged my credit card for another year's subscription. To determine how they were able to charge me when there was no valid card on file, I attempted to access my online account profile but was unable to. I gave up trying and contacted customer service.
After several days and so many back-and-forth communications with their customer service to try and understand this confusing and increasingly manipulative-seeming practice, I was told that the credit card they use for auto-renewals is one linked to the customer's email address. They updated their Terms & Conditions, mid-subscription term, to include using any eligible credit card, even one used from a prior purchase. There still is no visibility in the customer's online account to the card that will be charged for auto-renewal, and there is no capability for the customer to delete the card. This is a sneaky and deceptive process.
I ordered a rose plant as a gift. The ad photo showed a beautiful plant full of blooms. What was delivered was a puny plant, too small for the container in which it was placed, without a single bloom. A week later, the plant is just beginning to show a couple of buds. The total cost of the plant was $75. I could have gotten a nicer plant at a local retailer for a fraction of the cost. When I complained Customer Service, I was informed that my feedback would be taken under consideration. Really?
My son ordered his Nana a perfect party cat arrangement with a happy birthday balloon (87.00). Six hours later an email was sent, saying a replacement order was sent (without our consent). The replacement? 24 tie dye roses, no balloon! How do you go from a cat to tie dye roses? Not to mention, the email now states it's going to be delivered a day late. Now I'm trying to cancel the order because obviously that's not what my son wanted for his Nana and secondly she HATES roses... I've been on hold for over an hour. I will NEVER order from this company!
I ordered my flowers for next day delivery and paid extra, but they were never delivered. Contacted them multiple times and some with no response. When I would respond back they never contacted back. Now it's been a week later and they told me the flowers were delivered 2 days after the date a picked. Now I know they were lying because it was supposed to be delivered to business that is closed on the weekend and the recipient wasn't even there to receive it. I asked how was it delivered and while later they ask if I'm ok with a $20 refund and a redelivery. Why did they lie to me when multiple times I have been telling them they were never delivered in the first place. They have still yet to respond and I just want my money back. Please don't ever order from here, customer service is the worst and they will lie to you.
Ordered flowers for my friend's birthday in Florida. They used an address next to my old house (Shipper) instead
Of the recepient's address. I caught the error and called to update the delivery address 2 minutes after the order was placed. After 37 min on the phone, I was assured it was fixed - but no email or any other kind of confirmation. Three hours later they delivered it to the address of people in IL that I don't know. No amount of calls to customer service can fix it! The rep i reached was unprofessional, working from home (lots of extraneous noise) and useless.
The only thing worse than waiting for a delivery 4 days after the due date is chatting with a robot. The same questions are asked over and over and within a millisecond of my typing the issue. Eventually I learn that I'm speaking to a robot-in-training. Can customer service get any worse?
I sent my mother the Graceful Gardenia Plant Medium in Wrap that was displayed with the white blossoms for Mother's Day. She received it with no blossoms, buds or identification of plant with instruction. I get an email that says that they are sorry, so please reach out to us. I called customer service and was told that it is a plant that will bloom in May. If I would have known that it didn't come with flowers (as shown on website) I would have ordered flowers. Plant was healthy but, I will never do business with them again.
They sent flowers to the wrong address. When I called to advise them I was informed I have to wait another day for them to be delivered. This was there error! I will never order from them again and I advise no one should order from them. 1-800 flowers is horrible!
I ordered a birthday delivery for my daughter on 5/5 to be delivered 5/11 (had to pay additional shipping to be delivered by the requested day). The gift was never delivered after several calls and long hold times finally received a call back from 1-800 Flowers spoke with the representative who then placed me on hold for several more minutes and never came back. Have emailed customer service also with no response. Tracking email just States they're in transit. I spent over an hour on hold and no response. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN! Absolutely disappointing and the worst possible customer service ever.
This is the second time this has happened. I thought maybe the first time was just a mishap. Now this. The flowers were never delivered. Stay away from this company.
Received Roses for Mother's day. Roses died the following day. Called 1-800 number told them how much they cost $75.00, ask to have them send me a replacement and received FOUR Flowers; two sunflowers and two daisy like. What a sham. My heart hurt for my granddaughter who with much love sent them to me.
I will never order from these people again. I placed an order for my mother for Mother's Day on April 29. Because the website was not working, I had to call (and wait) for a representative. I placed my order & clearly told her my mother was in a nursing facility. No problem.
I receive an email stating that my order has been placed. The flowers were to be delivered between Wed May 6 thru Sunday May 10 with Sat May 9 preferred.
Since my 92 year old mother has been in quarantine since March 11 & I have not seen her, and because this was her first Mother's Day ever away from at least one of her children, I was anxious that she get those flowers by Mother's Day. She had already received flowers at her facility on Tues. From my sister. On Friday, I tried to track my order & found out that it could not be tracked. I found that odd & also found it odd that I had not gotten an email giving me a progress report on my order, DEAD SILENCE. On Sat, the day before Mother's Day, I called twice & left my number for a call back. Three hours later, I received a call from a representative. After going round & round with him, he informed me that they could not deliver the flowers to her because she was in a nursing home! Now, recall I mentioned that when I ordered the flowers & she had already received flowers during the week.
I received NO information from them & if I had not made the effort to track my order down, my mother would have not gotten a gift from me for mother's day.
I asked (actually screamed) that I wanted to speak to a supervisor. They put me on hold for over 20 minutes then came back & said the supervisor was too busy with another customer to speak to me.
Worst customer service I have ever had! I will NEVER do business with these pathetic people again!
Trying to post this from their review page & even this doesn't work!
I order over $183 flowers for Mothers Day. Flowers never arrived. Called *******4851 with a wait time for 2 hours. Left voicemail for my call to be returned. No reply to email. This is a SCAM. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. FILTERS NASTY PEOPLE TO TAKE ME MONEY ESPECIALLY WITH CURRENT COVID-19 EMPLOYMENT STATUS.
I should have read these reviews before ordering! This was hands down the worst experience ever. I received a delivery attempt email a day after the delivery date. No delivery was attempted, we have cameras and could prove that. I called and waited over an hour to speak to someone who said it would be there (a day late) by 8pm. Nothing attempted again. Next day I call and was hung up on, even after politely asking what was going on with the order. Immediately following that I started an online chat. Horrible professionalism and the representative wasn't helpful, offering me a shipping ($15) discount and redelivery date of that day or the day later, telling me my order "was already on the delivery truck" I asked why this was happening, why a refund wasn't being processed, and was disconnected abruptly from CHAT! I started another chat as there is no wait time. Persistent yes, because I still didn't know what was happening with the order. This person finally answered my questions, said the soonest it could be delivered was Three days later (?!?!). He also offered me a full refund, but after I accepted, he said they could not redeliver because I was getting a refund. W h a t?!? I cannot believe this company is still running with the kind of unprofessionalism I experienced
I will NEVER EVER order flowers using this company. I ordered my mom's mother's day flowers on the 6th, and get a text saying it was delivered on the 8th however there was NO delivery! I called company immediately only to be on hold for over 2hrs. I called back on the 9th, and informed them my mom's flowers were never delivered although I got text saying they were. Lady told me it would be redelivered on that day or Sunday. My mom and I stayed home all day waiting only to get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I immediately called back Monday morning to get my money back. I am so very disappointed with the outcome of this company!
My son ordered 2 dozen tulips from 1-800flowers for Mother's Day. They arrived late and dead in the box ( wilted, dry, browning) I waited an hour for a callback ( outside USA). I was told my son would only receive 50% refund, even though company advertised 100% smile guarantee. The company is deceptive and dishonest
