I ordered flowers and chocolates for my wife who works at the local school. The flowers showed up and she sent me a text asking if they were from me... I filled out a card online? So where was the card? Also the chocolates showed up 5 days after the flowers. A really romantic gesture turned into a failure. Last time using this service.
Flowers were left outside the apartment building. The delivery service didn't try to contact my friend. They left them in the parking lot. The flowers were stolen. They promised delivery on Tuesday. Now maybe Friday. Very poor customer service. Never again. Also I had to talk to Customer Service many times before they corrected my email address.

I ordered flowers for my niece's funeral. I wanted the peace lily they advertised on their website, a beautiful plant for my sister that she could nurture and grow. The only thing this company did right was deliver it on the correct day with the correct message. They delivered a different type of plant entirely. Upon finding this out I called them and they immediately sent out another replacement plant without hesitation and also did not want the wrong plant returned. Unfortunately, the same plant arrived. It became apparent that someone clearly did not know what a peace lily plant was. The situation was very frustrating and instead of trying to for another plant I asked for a refund and that's when the trouble began. They wanted to only provide a partial refund which I refused because I felt as though they did not keep there end of the bargain by sending the wrong plant not once but twice. I was fully prepared to send back there plant. Then they lied and stated they would give me a full refund only to get me off the phone. I monitored my credit card statements and did not see any credit from them. If you order from them you probably won't get what they advertise!
I ordered at 10:30 am for a same day delivery. Called at 1 to ask them to please make sure they leave the flowers on the porch if no one was there. "Howard" said he called the florist and told them. Was supposed to get notified of when it was in transit. I called back at 5 pm. Spoke to another agent who assured me it would be delivered TODAY! I continue to wait... Nothing. I called at 7 and the agent says "Oh im sorry the florist said they tried to leave it but no one was there. I explained i spoke to someone and they said they let the florist know. Well they never did. So now its the next day and i called AGAIN and they say they HOPE it will get delivered today. I spent $89 for same day! The worst! Dont waste your money!
I am based in the UK and arranged delvery of a bouquet to my friend in Arizona for her 70th birthday. The delvery arrived a day late and was supposed to have white roses and lilies in it instead it had white daisies and 3 yellow roses which did not even bloom. I contacted the company several times and received no reply or apology. I attach photos of what was ordered and what was received
I placed an order on line on 9/27/2020. When I placed the order, it said delivery would be on 9/30/2020. My shipping cost was approximately $7.00. When I checked out, my shipping fee was $22.00. As of today 10/14/2020, the item had NOT shipped and the estimated delivery date was 10/29/2020. That is totally unacceptable. I was sending a sympathy gift that is now 3 weeks past. NEVER use this company. The customer service person I spoke with was nice but was difficult to understand and her phone continuously cut in/out. I asked for a refund - we shall see...
My recent order which was the first time and would be the last time. Never seen a company make it so hard to send an order!
It was for semphty flowers and it was spouse to go on the day I chose to go and my family never received it,, a week later I call back and costumer service tell me we got it under control and will take care of it,,, 2 days later my family haven't received the order! It was so frustrating.
We ordered a beautiful arrangement called Double bouquet ($80) because of all the flowers in the arrangement. What was delivered was a disgrace! Complained, sent photo, and they apologized and said they would resend. They did. Not much difference. Will never use them again. See photos of what we ordered and what they received
I placed an order in August 2020. The merchandise was delivered without a gift card. I called 1 800 flowers and was told I would get an e credit of 20.00. It's is now October 2020 and each time I follow up on
The e credit no one can find the original order so they cannot issue a credit. My credit card was billed for the full price of the merchandise. As I write this review I have been on hold for 50 minutes without anyone getting back to me. Do not use 1 800 flowers there are plenty of other on line florists that are more responsive to customers
Avoid at all costs. Horrible service and customer service. Ordered flowers for a friend who had surgery. Site crashed while ordering. They couldn't figure out how to fix the order, the deliver address or to even cancel the order but they were able to figure out how to charge my credit card. Wanted me to wait 3 hours for a call back so they could try to figure out what the issue was. When I asked to just cancel the order the person got mad and hung up. The reviews are 100% legit they are awful!
I called Customer Service with the order number to cancel the bad order. She assured me the order had not gone though, that the bank had refused it. I trusted her, although the charge was pending on my credit card. I ordered again, over the phone. Imagine my surprise when I discovered flowers outside my OWN door. The second customer service was very nice, but only delivery charges can be refunded.
First, to be honest this company did well in the past. After messing up a previous order last year for my wife while I was on military deployment overseas, I forgave them and tried to send a simple arrangement of flowers to her workplace on her birthday. The flowers did not arrive as scheduled. I call customer service and they tell me the florist will deliver to our home later that night. We wait, miss dinner reservations and I have to call customer service back to find out that my home is out of the florist delivery area so they will have deliver the next day. The next day I call 2 hours prior to my wife's business closing and they tell me once again they will not be delivered today and will be re-delivered the following day. I then am transferred to their "executive services" and they can only refund my money, which can take up to 30 days on an American Express card if the flowers do not make it in the next two hours. John the executive service staff tells me to call a the "direct number" *******779 at 5 PM if they do not arrive. Well, not only do they not arrive when my wife's clinic closes, but when I call the "executive services" is closed. This company is one giant failure and does not even understand the very basis of business practice. I will be writing this review on every forum I can find for one reason. This company absolutely does not care about the consumer and believes they are too big for a business reputation to really matter. Wrong in every way. Call a local florist, some if not all have to be concerned about reviews like this one.
Flowers were supposed to be delivered on Monday. They were not. I called Monday night and the flowers were supposed to be there before 12:00 today (Tuesday). The flowers are still not delivered and will not be delivered until possessively tomorrow. However, they have sucked the money right out of my account.
Do not use this organization. There customer service is terrible and they do not uphold any of there guarantees.
I placed a order two weeks prior to the day to be delivered. It was for a friends birthday to be delivered to the school where they worked. The order did not arrive on the day that was promised and the next day when the order arrived was at the end of business day when they were leaving the school (another day was almost missed). The birthday was ruined because of 1800flowers not delivering on the day they were promised. I had to go pick up another arrangement that day from a local distributor. Also when the flowers that were shipped did arrive, they died less than 5 days later. The quality of the product was horrible. I am completely dissatisfied. The flowers from the local distributor lasted over two and a half weeks. To resolve the complaint they issued a lame 20 credit off my next purchase. A credit that I will never use because I will not be spending any more money with this company. The Birthday was ruined because of 1800flowers.
Did not deliver $100 flower arrangement for my daughters birthday. Only when I called the third world country call center they told me it wasn't being delivered.
I sent this arrangement to a very good friend. I ordered them September 7th to be delivered on the 11th. They did not arrive until today September 14th. This is the condition they arrived in (see pictures and one of the arrangement they portrayed) After a call to customer service when they did not arrive they agreed to resend them at no charge for delivery today September 14th. Still no sign of the replacement. They offered me 20.00 off my next order. Based on this there will be no next order.
It's sad to see a company like 1-800 Flowers that at one time was great company deteriorate. It's obvious by reading so many negative reviews that the company no longer focuses on its customer's needs. Nor does it appear that the company even cares when they disappoint customers or the recipients of the flowers. The owner should fire the CEO and senior staff and hire people that can turnaround this company's performance.
The company is charging a premium price for substandard products.
This had to be hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I ordered the deluxe flower arrangement for my mom on Mother's Day. I spent over $120.00 what was received I would not have paid $20 for at the grocery store. Pictures provided. I tried calling for days after that but they were getting so many complaints the wait times were over an hour. I finally got a 30 minute wait time and went through my whole complaint and was told they would refund 40% of my purchase price or I could let them re deliver something else. WHAT?! I even offered the pictures. I told them not to use that local florist again because they are obviously blind to what is ordered and what is delivered. Ok, redeliver in one week. Again, WHAT?! A Week?! The week comes and goes, no flower arrangement resent to my mom. Call customer service back which is all India all the time. They went Huh, it looks like we could not get in touch with the florist who delivered to get them to redo it. Okay, I already told them I did not want anything from THAT florist, they did not even give me a courtesy call to let me know they would not be delivering. As I am having a coronary, I am disconnected. What?! I call back, there are no notes available to this CS lady. I explained the whole story again, offered pictures and she went into her computer and said she could deliver red roses to my mother from the farm or warehouse or something not from a local florist. "It is very beautiful" she says. "It is a valentine arrangement" I say. I agree because by this time I am about to completely lose my S. They said they would be there on June 15th. What?! June 15th comes and goes, no flowers. CALL THE F'ERS again. New Delhi reports they do not know what happened and would send one out immediately. So now they can send it immediately not in 3 weeks? Finally my mother received a very average valentine bouquet of red roses. They come in a box, not arranged you have to do all that yourself. We are engaged to be married in December. STAY AWAY FROM 1-800 FLOWERS! They are terrible at what they do, they count on you not seeing what you sent, you grossly overpay and customer service is awful. It won't let me upload the picture of what I ordered unfortunately because I want you to see the STARK contrast. But look at the picture that did load. Does that look like a $120 arrangement? It's daisies and carnations. BUYER BEWARE!
Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I ordered flowers for my sister in-laws funeral on August 14,2020. I placed the order and was told they would be delivered by 8pm. I received a phone call stating my arrangement wouldn't be ready until the day of the funeral. No problem, until the day of I'm told that the flowers could be delivered between 8am-5pm. Which would be too late for the funeral. Thankfully the florists was also confused with what this company was telling them and called me themselves. I get to the viewing only to find a SMALL wreath(I ordered a large) with completely different flowers, foam sticking out and visible, and ugly jungle leaves trying to cover the foam! I call to inform this company of the mistake and they offer to give me some 50% of my money back. I agreed to pay for the ugly arrangement as long as I got most of my money back. It has been 14 days and I have spoke with 12 different employees and I still have not received my $265.33 as promised! I just spoke to another person who states that my refund has been confirmed AGAIN! It's absolutely ridiculous! I am never doing business with this company again! They do not take care of their customers and they do not care! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! I only gave them 1 star because it doesn't give me the option for 0 stars!
I ordered flowers to be delivered on 25 August. They said the flowers would be there on Sept 22. NO GOOD The flowers were for an apology that needed to be there the same or next day. It's a nightmare to get an answer from their customer service, once you find it online. You can't get them on the phone.
