Ordered an arrangement on-line on Monday for delivery to a funeral home on Wednesday. Received a call on Tuesday advising me that they do not have an "available florist" in the area to fill the order. Offered to delivery theorder anywhere in the United States. Since the order was a for my brothers funeral in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, this was a rather insensitive option. Disgusting experience!
I ordered flowers to my great aunt in a nursing home. They charged double what the price was supposed to be. I contacted them and was transferred around (cold) and was ultimately told it was a Paypal problem. The flowers went out for delivery on Dec 23 and would not be delivered until after Dec 31st! I have been calling to get my additional 50% charges back and keep getting transferred. No one knows what they are doing over there and the customer service is terrible. They should be paying me for the 4 plus hours I've wasted on the phone with them trying to get my money back! In the end a $42 basket of fresh flowers cost $152 to be delivered a week after in was put on a FeD ex truck. The best part? I asked to speak to a supervisor on Monday. It's Sunday and I'm still waiting for a call. Don't waste your time or money go elsewhere!
One star rating is one star more than they deserve. Company failed to deliver on the promised date, rescheduled a second and then a third time. Over a week later no flowers have been delivered. It is now going on ten days and we are still awaiting refund of our money having cancelled the order. Company then has the audacity to offer a $20.00 credit on my next purchase having failed after never having fulfilled my first order. This entire experience has been a nightmare causing me to spend hours on the telephone and unnecessary stress.
Valentines order never came, was on the phone for over an hour, hung up on, called back again because I've got so much time on my hands with three kids and the never even refunded me the full amount. Thanks for the disappointment. Overpay at a flower shop. At least you'll know you will have something. Bunch of scammers! I'd give it no stars if it let me
I ordered A Mother's Day flower delivery, they charged my credit card, then promptly called and said they were cancelling my order. They said they would issue me a refund for 86$ even though I was charged over 120$! I have copies of my receipt which they refuse to use. A month later I still have not been reimbursed after MULTIPLE calls.
WORST company! Support a local florist and just google and call one in the town you are looking to send flowers in.
I have never left a negative review before but I cannot stress enough how awful my experience with this company has been.
Such a debacle. Decided to act on an offer through Aeroplan for a Mother's Day promotion they were offering and extra miles for dollars spent. A fairly easy online experience through the Aeroplan estore, and placed an order. That's when the wheels fell off. No email confirmation of the order, repeated calls to the U.S. call centre advising they didn't receive the order ("oh, but you did, because my credit card was charged!")
Eventually the order was located but 4 days later still no email receipt regardless of their assurances that it was sent.
I'm sorry I didn't use my local florist (this is a U.S. based company) and it will remains to be seen if a local florist even gets the order and processes it.
To say that I and my daughter-in-law were disappointed in the customer service and deliveries is an understatement. First of all they had written my phone number wrong on the delivery slip, so they were unable to contact me, then when I advised my daughter-in-law the flowers had not arrived on my birthday she checked and ordered them again. In the mean time I found the first delivery at a different location, 4 days later. Then the second delivery arrived only to find the flowers were dead in 2 days. Very poor customer service, very poor quality. When I tried calling this morning the number was for a different company all together. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
I ordered flowers for a friend the day before her birthday. The website says same day delivery but it is outright false advertising. Not only could they not deliver the specific bouquet I ordered they said the delivery had to be by Fedex and take 8 days! I had to cancel the order and ordered from elsewhere. Waiting for my refund!
Don't use this service, I ordered from them, they charged my credit card but nearly a week later nothing had been delivered. The tracking on their website showed that the florist had my order and was waiting to deliver it though so I called them and was told "they only deliver in major cities", I live in a city of 6.5 million people, the most major city in Canada and their website not only took my order but charged my card and let me to believe it was being delivered. I was then told "that is a bug on their website" so if I hadn't have called they would have never delivered anything and kept my money, they even had the gall to try to up-sell me to something else on their site to be delivered to the same place even though they just told me they don't deliver in my city. Scammers.
I submitted order for a same day delivery before their cutoff of unable to meet delivery times. By 5 pm was contacted by a customer service rep saying they were unable to deliver in same day and offered a 20$ savings card which was never received. Later in the evening I received an email stating my flowers were delivered and were not. Spoke to another rep who submitted a resend of the bouquet. When I did receive the order it was the completely wrong bouquet. So don't waste your time to try and get a refund just find a different company.
I placed an order, the site took my money then I get a call that delivery couldn't be made until a week after I had wanted them delivered. Told I would get a refund... Still waiting for refund.
This is credit card fraud... Pay up.
I called for assistance because the web site says "The product you have selected is unavailable for delivery in your selected postal code". In fact, that same message appears for any product that I try to order, even if I select the "Nationwide Availability" heading. The customer service agent, obviously in Asia, had no idea that Canada wasn't a state, then quoted me a price in US $ after telling her I am trying to place an order for a city in Canada from the 1800Flowers.ca (Canadian) web site. How frustrating to deal with someone who doesn't have a clue and doesn't listen! In the end I asked for somebody else who she could refer me to but was told that she was the only one. So much for their saying "We're obsessed with providing a terrific experience.
If not, we'll make it right - guaranteed." (Chris McCann, CEO & Jim McCann, Founder).
Placed an order early Monday morning online. Received email Wednesday night that they attempted to call about delivery delay. Lie number one. Called the number and spoke to Marlo who said that flower arrangement only available in US. Found it again online as we spoke. Lie number 2. Then said he found a shop who would deliver next day. Lie #3. Delivery never happened! Another call to customer service to find out they couldn't fulfill the order. So frustrating!
Charged me extra for a Saturday delivery then I got notice from courier that delivery would be Friday. I contacted 1800flowers.ca and they said "oh, yah, we don't deliver on Saturdays in that city." Took me five emails to get them to refund the shipping cost. THEN, a neighbour watched for the delivery (on Friday) and took it in as soon as it arrived. And the pic below was what was ordered, and what was delivered. Took 4 more emails to get a refund (they started with suggesting a 50% refund!) (AND they had seen the photos!). This was all for a 50th wedding anniversary :(
As you outline on your site, these deliveries are of great importance to the people sending and receiving them. My girlfriend received nothing on our anniversary, and I'm not sure why, as my order was placed and paid for with plenty of time to spare.
The flowers were delivered a day later, unfortunately, it was too late.
I ordered a sympathy arrangement from their website and not only did they deliver a day late, but they sent a Christmas arrangement. See photo of the "Christmas" arrangement sent and the all pink and white arrangement that is on their website. I called customer service and the person who assisted me was very helpful and apologetic about the late delivery and reversed the delivery charge and I also received a $20 coupon to use on my next purchase. I did not bother to call and complain about the difference in arrangements as my friend who received the arrangement really liked it. And now 2 days later, they sent another arrangement almost identical to the picture. I think the problem with many of these websites is that certain flowers are not available at certain times of the year and they have to make substitutes. I just wish they would indicate this on the website. Also, be honest and upfront and do not offer same day or one day delivery. What I found interesting is that the next day after ordering on line and using my credit card, my card was compromised! Not sure if this was coincidence or not.
I was told by the customer service representative that they no longer had flowers, two days after my order was not delivered and of course after I called. I email to voice my disappointment when I was fed the line they are committed to a 100% Smile Guarantee and offered me a $20 voucher to order... flowers? The service representative said they didn't have any of those. Best to find a local florist and order from them.
We ordered delivery of flowers online via 1800flowers.ca and noticed they erred in the delivery address. They had our own address as the delivery address. When we called to correct the situation it became apparent we had somehow been shunted to a US number. He asked for our zip code for example for an order from Mississauga to Burlington. He corrected the delivery address and said thank you for using 1800 Flowers.COM. I said we were dealing with. Ca. The bill on the credit card jumped from 50 dollars to 75 because - it said - the flowers came from the US. A miserable screw-up experience.
This company is complete joke. It does not care about long time customers, their emotions and feelings. They are more interested in getting more money, then providing a good service. Why do they offer to deliver Mother's day flowers AFTER Mother's day?
I am so tired of wasting my time for speaking with these incompetent people, you wouldn't imagine!
NEVER AGAIN!
My husband took the time to order flowers 4 days before my birthday, he ordered a dozen of roses and some chocolate. On my birthday I received a phone call from 1-800 flowers saying they apologize they can't deliver on that day,, 4 days later I received a bucket with a mini rose bush and a yankee candle,, it smell as good as a bathroom pot pourri.
1-800FLOWERS,, YOU SUCK!

Answer: I had to wait on the phone for over 30 minutes for someone to answer me.
Answer: Scam, they took my money and led me to believe they were going to deliver the order then told me they 'only deliver to major cities in Canada". I live in the largest city in Canada of 6.5 million people so thats just lying.
Answer: Impossible. Absolutely impossible. Have never had one.
