Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Poshmark staff and previous consumers.
No returns based on fit per Poshmark. They are in the clothing busienss. This is crazy.
Yes. The whole company is shady & so are most of the sellers. The old saying is: If it looks too good to be true... go to ebay! There are so many scammers & sellers listing things that aren't permitted on that site that Posh Customer Service doesn't give a crap. They don't hire enough employees to care. So, now Kotex maxi pads are on there...& everything else... but, people buy the stuff!
It also happened to be under name of James Grant. I went further and received a check but was way over the agreed amount. Also wanted to quick pay. Ended it and blocked him. Never knew if check was real. Beware of this person!
It depends on you're state i use and app HERE which is local of course and its called "OFFERS UP" meet up with people buy or trade!
They only allow women's clothing and accessories. However, MANY people sell items that don't fall into either of those categories, so if you are willing to take a chance, you may be able to sell. However, the non-fashion items that seem to sell best are cell phone covers, makeup, nail polish, and perfume.
My best advice is stay away. There are to many fake items on posh, ark. If you complain to the buyer they simply block you and poshmark simply ignores you. Sellers just move on and open another account, you make poshmark aware of the issue and they simply look the other way, they are only interested in the commission they make of a sale... STAY AWAY
Yes, most likely buyers. Some buyers usually will lie about not receiving their items, but there are some loop holes that end up indicating that the buyer is lying. Besides, both parties (seller and Poshmark or any other online site) investigate this claim closely and go as far as involving the mail carrier and also file a legal claim for high dollar items.
Poshmark "Only" gives You 3 days to report an issue. So hopefully You can squeeze in some spare time & gas to go to a store close to You than can decifer if it is fake. Poshmark, on the other hand though, gives the seller up to 7 days to ship it to You but chunks the $$$ out of Your account immediately. Does this seem fair? They may get back to Your email within their 2 "Business days" not weekends, if You're lucky. Then they ask for Your pictures, etc. Once they decide that Your pictures "Fall within their standards" then a label will be emailed to You to ship it back. I just found out by reading other comments on other questions on here by dod k. That there is a $15.99 charge per disputed order. This is a million $$$ company. $15.99 from their profits is peanuts to Posh (Manish) but to Us buyers $15.99 is alot. Sick of this site. Scammers all over. Type up in the search section for perfumes, nail polishes (these items are NOT permitted on this site but over 200 people are selling perfume!) Stay clear of this site.
Like you, I received some items immediately. But the item I wanted the most, the buyer never sent me despite repeated my repeated attempts to have her send the dress to me. I finally had to cancel my order to get my money released to me.
That is a scam! Do NOT do it! If Poshmark is anything like eBay, you would lose any/all buyer protection if you buy offsite. It also sounds like they are trying to avoid poshmark fees. Regardless, do not do it. It's ALWAYS a scam if they want you to buy offsite. And same thing if a buyer wants you to sell to them offsite.
