on 2/25/17It also happened to be under name of James Grant. I went further and received a check but was way over the agreed amount. Also wanted to quick pay. Ended it and blocked him. Never knew if check was real. Beware of this person!
What if someone asks you to text them pictures an says it's there wife an when she sees the pictures she will buy it from the app
I also had this "James Grant" try to email me off of Poshmark. After much research, I was able to trace the email back to a convicted felon named Grant Bush who resides in Tennessee, and also has convicted felonies in Mississippi. NEVER, EVER give them any personal information about yourself. I can assure you it is a scam.
The funny thing is, he claimed he was a doctor with a very busy schedule, and his spelling and punctuation were worse than my my preteen children's! LMFAO
Scam! Never go outside of POSHMARK. Never give anyone your details.
Do not answer anything like that, those are scammers phishing for information.
Typical scammer. They promise you a check but it turns out to be phony when you attempt to redeem it. DON'T RESPOND TO HIS EMAIL, AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM.
He's trying to scam you. Don't ever do any business with people who send you requests like this.
This is a scam. Usually when someone asks you to email them about something on Posh, it is a scam. Do not respond to them via email or on posh, just block their username and move on. They are not interested in your item, they're interested in sending you fake checks for your items.
This is a scam I've seen it many times. I raise Sphynx kittens and sell on eBay. Have not fallen for it over the years so have no idea what would happen but it's the exact same wording pretty much and the info they want is identical. Don't respond... he or she may bug you for a bit. But just don't respond any longer.
Do NOT give this person ANY personal information!
I don't know what the scam is but this is definitely not legit
