Etsy is horrible! Etsy charge almost 20% from Sellers. And so many hidden fee! It's hard for any sellers to make money in Etsy! And no protection and customer services! There is no phone number, no address, no E-mail! Go Amazon or somewhere else. Etsy is the worst! Beware!

I just ordered something for over $ 300 and no of the order??

Etsy support is useless... they are on the sellers side they take down negative reviews warning other buyers... it's a scam... they're global community initiative is a marketing ploy... I hope your get your item... I really do I stopped using them after 10 years as a buyer it took one bad event and never again.

If you go back to the seller's site at Esty.com you will see in the lower right hand corner of the seller's site a comment box you can communicate with the seller. Ask the seller! Also, be aware if the purchase was in November or December 2020, ALL shipping is slow due to the Christmas purchasing season.

All I have to say sites that review these online companies are important. If I had did my due diligence instead of shopping with ETSY I wouldn't have wasted my $ there.

Should i worry about receiving a purchase?

Answer:

Honestly, that depends on the seller. I have purchased one item from Etsy and received exactly what was pictures, in the exact time frame that was stated. If You are unsure, check the reviews for the store. People can only review an item after purchasing, so the reviews are usually a pretty good indication. And, if you are still unsure, you can message the seller and ask for a picture of the item different from the picture featured for a different angle, or ask for further details. If they deny you such, then it's probably best to stay away from the seller. Generally, reliable sellers Will have their shipping info included somewhere either on their page or the items page, letting you in on their schedule and preceduces. Most of the reviews above come from negative seller experience. Etsy itself is a host for the stores, so as long as you find a reliable seller, you should be ok.

I say ignore her and she should stop. If you keep responding, she will keep being a jerk. Contact Etsy about the harassment. Good luck. We've all had our own crazies from time to time. It comes with the territory.

Answer:

Etsy can only promise that you will get your item. As far as shipping goes, that is up to the seller since some of (most of) the items on Etsy are made to ship, meaning, they're personalized items that sometimes take the seller a significant amount of time in order to be able to send. You can always contact the seller and ask what the status of your order is. Everyone I've bought from on Etsy has been more than happy to email/message me back within a maximum of a day!
