Hi - most bikes arrive without needing to true the wheels but a few do. This is normal, takes very little time and is easy to do. To answer your question, you will get the bike as listed in the specs of the page you ordered from. A little info about the bike industry. Factories overseas build bikes months and sometimes up to a year in advance. For example, bikes that arrive in the store in January would have been built sometime in the previous year. Lead times for ordering parts can be up to 6 months. Model years are not hard and fast like the auto industry. Some bike brands have actually done away with model years.
