Yeah, they do have really good deals. Do you know if you need to have it built or can you just do it yourself if you have enough knowledge? Just wondering how easy it is

Here are some good assembly videos showing a mountain bike and a road bike. It's pretty easy- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OPLfsDliEk

Hi Todd, Yes you can do it yourself if you can install the front tire, attach the handlebars straight and put your helmet on without assistance... it's really that easy but it took me 1.5 hrs to do as I double checked everything and tuned it to my spec's. Go For it man! Keep the box if you ever need to ship it somewhere.

Assembly is pretty straight forward. Exact fine tuning is a bit more difficult but there are great videos on youtube or you can pay a local bike shop to assemble for you (I would suggest that if you aren't pretty handy with tools). Once you are done you will have about twice the bike for the money than anywhere else. Ive bought 6 bikes from BikesDirect and been VERY happy with every purchase.

Bought a Road Bike for $500., paid local shop $40. To assmble and tune. Shop owner was shocked at how little I paid for the bike, thought it was a $1000. Bike. Thanks bikesdirect.

I am very impressed with the bike I purchased for $399, a comparable bike with the same quality and features will cost approx. Twice as much... The assembly time is less than an hour without a morning cup of coffee...
