Paperless Post offers a lovely alternative to traditional paper invites. They maintain some of the elegance of getting an nice invitation in the mail and are definitely better for the environment.
Short of going to local bulk diamond stores, Shane Co. Offers an inexpensive alternative to the pricey brands. I haven't bought rings but I have bought good earrings.
I know I'm paying for the brand but it doesn't mean they don't make some of the most beautiful rings and jewelry in the world. I'll always be a Tiffany girl.
I feel like we all spend too much on our weddings and so David's Bridal is the answer for so many items that don't NEED to be the most expensive in the world.
I prefer the service at Neiman Marcus to Nordstrom or Bloomingdale's. Maybe not quite as good at Barney's but still Neiman Marcus will always have a special place in my heart.
Tip for consumers:
Only shop sales unless you are rich.
If you can afford it, there is just no better designer. Their boutique is fabulous. I only wish you could do more online.
