Zulily offers quality merchandise at great prices. Their customer service department is unsurpassed in making sure the customer is happy with products received. Variety and value bring me to the website every day. I can't wait to open my Zulily boxes when they arrive!
I've been shopping from Zulily for years. Hit and miss with quality. I've had to contact customer service a couple times for shirts that arrived with printing that bled. Shipping takes a long time. I placed an order on 11/24/22 and the items on there said they were guaranteed to arrive by Christmas. Received notification that these items finally shipped but they won't be here by Christmas. Emailed customer service and they apparently don't stand by the "guarantee to arrive by Christmas" - so why even advertise it? I'll pay more elsewhere that stands by what they say.
Make-up had parts missing on 2 different items, foundation were old and smelled weird. I received a dress with holes in it and Zulily charged me restocking fees! Customer service was useless Sometimes I got lucky and got great things but there's no savings if half of the items go in the trash (it's not worth the trouble and cost of returning most of the time). Picture is ivory foundation, ivory, really?
Purchased a Canadian Weather company coat for roughly $75.00 (on sale from $219.00). Over the course of 12 weeks, and having worn it about a dozen times, it fell apart, bit by bit. First, the stitching on the outside started to disintegrate, then the seams on the inside fell apart, then the zipper went. I have emailed them THREE times, with no response. I'd received an email stating that someone accessed my account (which I did when seeking a way to communicate my findings to Zulily), so I know it was received, but still no response.
First of all, dont let the low prices fool you! Most everything that I have purchased has been high quality at a low, discounted price! Some items have been disappointing, but for the majority, everything is super great! And they offer almost anything under the sun! I am a Zulily addict and I check here before going to the top chains or Amazon! Try them, and you will love them!
I do believe Zulily offers such a great wide variety of items and an overall great online experience. I have gotten a chance to try things or brands I had never heard of before, along with great brands I'm familiar with and buy all the time! I do appreciate the new feature of "best price guarantee", but it really isn't the best because at the competitors they offer free shipping to the person and back to the facility if returns are needed. See a LOT of times I will be deterred from buying things because shipping is so costly, and if needing to return an item, having to pay a second time is just too expensive. As a company I'm this day & age, shipping to the customer should be free-even if the item is marked up a little to compensate...
I recently had 2 packages go to the wrong states. One to New York and the other to Maryland. The customer service rep blamed ups and Usps. The packages are delivered according to the address on them. That was a total turn off for me as well as an insult. I deliver packages and would not just deliver to a random address. A refund without taking responsibility for the mistake made me reconsider if I'm going to order again. Not happy.
I've bought from Zulily quite often. A couple of items, I was not real pleased with. But for the most part, very happy. I think they could do a free shipping weekend or something similar, rather than offering it after you've just purchased something.
Last year I pretty much did all my Christmas shopping on Zulily. This year, probably not. I'm so confused as to why a shopping site that was started for moms and kids has turned into a place where I am shocked at the items using the "F" and "S" words on items for sale. I'm so disappointed. So, my idea of what makes up a great place to shop is no longer fulfilled with Zulily. It had a wholesome appeal that first attracted me. Not any more! Get rid of the items with bad words and go back to your beginnings. Somewhere along the way to popularity, someone got greedy and thought they would add another group of shoppers. Fix this or i will be ordering less and less. I did call in to CR not too long ago about this but it seems no one really listened. Amazon will probably take your place.
I've been shopping on Zulily for more than 12 years but I'm now done. The quality over the years and their customer service has waned. I understand they were sold and are under new management but if you make your products look amazing on your website then expect the customer to be happy with poor quality while paying a typically hefty price tag PLUS shipping then requiring another shipping cost to return it, in the age of Amazon, how do you expect returning customers?!
Product quality varies widely. Some things ok, many cheap Chinese-made, fast fashion items that may not tolerate a single laundering. I won't do business with a company that requires I provide personal info or "sign up" to make a purchase. Tired of the coercion to get my info. There should be no barrier to shoppers buying as a "guest" or being able to chat with customer service. There is absolutely NO reason they need my email address or anything else for me to be granted the "privilege" of spending my money on their goods. If people would stop forking over their personal info, businesses would stop demanding it. Tired of businesses being hacked and my info being handed out to everyone. Best defense is to not hand out your info. This is no different than going to the grocery and having the cashier demand your birthdate and social security number just to checkout.all the while knowing you are exposing yourself to significant risk doing so.It should be illegal to demand this info.
I still shop frequently from Zulily, with the understanding that I am taking a chance. Ordering clothes and shoes online is risky, especially with no returns. I've received items I have loved, and others I've hated. If the quality is really poor, I will express my opinion to customer service, which is quite good and quick to respond. There are brands I know. Can trust, and I do like the ever changing items on offer. Overall, I'm pleased with this site. I will say, sometimes shipping takes a long time but I'm mostly ok with that
Over the last 3 years, I have spent thousands of $$ on Zulily products! It's the first thing I look at in the morning. Most of the items are as described. Occasionally, I get an item that is the wrong size, or not as described. Customer service has been very helpful. Due to the holidays, I missed the return window and got items that were incorrect- so I am stuck with them... that is unfortunate. Some delivery times are long, but if you are not in a rush, they are worth waiting for. Quality has been very good.
Shopping on Zulily is like shopping at a candy store. There are so many stores to shop, prices are reasonable and most items are unique that you won't see everyone in the same outfit. Customer service is always helpful.
Like many, I've spent thousands on Zulily merchandise and for the most part, I have been very happy. Lately the quality has been very disappointing in clothes and jewelry. Rather than return items, I've donated them to a local charity. Also, the one price shipping is sometimes more than the single item I want to purchase, so I don't buy. But I still recommend Zulily to others because a great bargain can be found here.
Zulily is the best online shopping application where you can get name brands best sales so far, have been shopping with zulily for almost two years, and have also recommended it to friends who ask where I shop, but I think they should improve more on given customers coupon for the end of the year (Appreciation). Added photos of recent purchase.
Getting anything to fit you properly is more of a miss than hit. Numerous times I've purchased from Zulily only to have to either throw it away or send it back. Clothing is poor quality. Dont get sucked in from what it looks like on the website. I have store credits built up from returns. I really want nothing else from them. Only do shopping where you can get a true refund if the item is not what you expected.
I purchased the Rosie short bootie and I can say the quality of the product is very poor. They have no arch support. After walking around in them shopping about 3 hrs. Later my feet felt like I was walking on rocks. After this purchase I would never purchase anything from the manufacturer of these shoes. I would give these boots a 1/2 star rating if possibly
I purchased a rug on during Black Friday (11/20). I have family coming over for Christmas along with a 10 month old that is starting to crawl ALOT so the old rug needed to go. I purchased a large 12x15 nuLOOM rug. I even called a couple of weeks ago and was "assured" I would have it 12/8... 12/12 all i received a cancellation for my order. No communication, opportunity to make it right, or even a "sorry". This place sucks just like ALL OF THE OTHER reviews confirm. I'm glad they had to fire people, I hope this company falls apart and CEO ends up in jail.
I've purchased quite a few items from Zulily. It's my opinion to only order trusted name brand items. Anything else can't be trusted. Either quality is poor or sizing is for elves! Shipping is absolutely atrocious so don't be in a hurry to receive your item(s). Expect 3-4 weeks. Frustrating!
Answer: Zulily has awesome customer service! I have nothing bad to say about them! Definitely worth ordering from them... I have been happy every time (& I use it a lot!)
Answer: I have never ordered shoes from them but I agree that they likely vary according to brand. Contrary to other comments (that I am very suspicious of...) I have never waited a long time and the quality has always been as shown. There are so many rip-off sites out there and I suspect some hire people to post phony negative reviews on the 'good' sites. I do not recommend searching for cheaper products - you'll end up on a bogus, cheap site. I now research every site name and sift through comments - its exhausting but has saved me from spending money on sites that were not good.
Answer: Got money to burn? Order from Zulily. There isn't enough room on the Internet to list all the reasons you should NOT order from them!
Answer: Nope... no returns accept and good luck on getting a refund. Stay away from this site.
Answer: It could be a week or it could be 3 months. But my advice would be not to order at all. The sizes are never right (a small may fit someone that wears a large or it may be too small for an infant) and the quality sucks (the fabric on a dress I bought is so thin you can see through 4 layers). STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!
Answer: Wrong size, no return policy. Beware don't order from them
Answer: Sorry I don't know the answer, but it could explain why everything is so cheap
Answer: Yes, it may take that long, but they are up front about that on the item description page. I have never had a problem with them.
Answer: Let me just put this out there. The people who bought things from Zulily (and are unhappy with their purchases), probably didn't research the brand before they bought it. Think of Zulily like Marshalls or TJMaxx. That's what Zulily is, in online form. I just bought a hoodie from them, and researched the brand before I bought it. The particular hoodie was being discontinued, so they were selling it very cheaply. I bought it, and it is the real deal, originally $89. So research the brand. And don't expect your purchase quickly. They wait until they have enough orders to bulk purchase (another reason why their prices are low), before they buy. So it'll be a few weeks before you get it. I hope this helps.
Answer: If you bought them from Zulily, you might see about making your granddaughters feet smaller. I'm sure that's easier than dealing with Zulily.
Zulily has a rating of 2.3 stars from 4,526 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Zulily most frequently mention store credit, return policy and poor quality. Zulily ranks 9th among Daily Deals sites.
