I purchased a Timbuk2 bag.
After making my purchase, the site indicated that a confirmation email would be sent to me. But that email didn't arrive in my Gmail inbox for another day. So I worried a little, especially in view of some of the negative reviews I had read.
However, I then received another email about a day later indicating that my order was processed and being shipped. This gave me some reassurance.
And lo and behold, the item arrived, new, as described. I was actually surprised, given that the item is no longer available on the manufacturer's website.
I emailed Zozo customer support to share my experience they responded within 1 business day. I appreciated that.
So except for the rough start, I would recommend this site. All went well in the end.
Zozi went above and beyond to help me find the right jacket for my wife this past Christmas. When the jacket didn't fit and it came time to make a returnThe representative was that helped me was instrumental in easing the process. Now, I'll be a lifelong Zozi member as they do seem to offer that extra mile for their customers… It seems much less like a fly by night deal site and much more like one who cares about the consumers. I've only bought a few things from Zozi so far, but I can say that their customer service has been great so far.
I purchased a voucher to the Galapagos through Zozi and one of their team reached out to email me hints and tips for traveling to Ecuador.
Also, when I had not responded to the travel agent quickly enough, they interceded to ping me for the info that the Galapagos travel agent needed.
Most recently I was not able to get reservations for a hotel package that Zozi had sold a voucher to me for and they refunded me the cost of the voucher even though it was way past the 10 days (it was more like 10 months past!) for refunds. That was awesome!
Zozi has been great so far!
I stayed at the Basecamp hotel through a Zozi purchase. It was really easy to set-up my visit, and I was delighted with the quaintness of the lodge. Highly recommend this site and the diversity of travel options it has available.
Firstly, I got a great deal on the luggage I wanted. Secondly, I emailed into the help desk asking to confirm when my bag would ship because I needed it soon for a trip. The rep not only replied with an hour, she got my bag shipped out THAT day.
I ordered a pair of shoes from ZOZI - at a great price. Unfortunately, they didn't fit and I had to return the. ZOZI handled everything about the order smoothly and I was particularly impressed with their customer service in connection with the return. I will definitely use them again for shoes and clothes.
Well I guess the BBB ranking of an "F" makes sense. I too got scammed by this unorganized daily deal site!
Bought a local tour package to do some sight seeing while in town on a business trip. When I showed up at the merchant they had NO CLUE about this company or my print out.
Tried to contact the company and no one even got back to me by email or phone... A week later I got an email and it was quit comical, like a 12 year old was handling there customer service department.
Actually pretty mad...
Bought a voucher for myself and my little sister to run in the Seattle foam fest.
The voucher doesn't even work on the website! Seriously?!
First I tried to contact zozi but nothing

I ordered a deal for a hotel on Zozi.com and was not certain that the deal was legitimate. I called into Zozi's customer service for help with redeeming the offer and I received prompt and courteous attention and they walked me through the process for redemption. The customer service representative mentioned about Zozi's return policy and I felt re-assured with the process. I then followed the redemption process and my reservation was booked in downtown Boston. It was an unbelievable deal. I would certainly buy from Zozi.com again.
I cannot say enough about the customer service at Zozi - I was trying to buy a pair of zero drop Altra shoes and it was my first time getting that brand so it was difficult to figure out the right size. The folks at Zozi were super patient with me in terms of helping me with exchanges (overall, I had 4 pairs of shoes shipped to me and returned) - and the people at Zozi made it easy, hassle-free and were extremely friendly and pleasant throughout the whole process. It's my first time using Zozi and I'm really impressed with their customer service - they've made a loyal customer out of me!
I have bought several experiences from Zozi and I am always treated as a second class citizen by the merchants. The providers Zozi works with all seem to hate Zozi and pass on their sentiments to Zozi customers. I have been told by several merchants they have not received payment from Zozi and complain of the nightmare it is to work with them. I am officially fed up and will stop giving them my money.
Also, Zozi advertises amazing deals with big discounts, however, if you do some research you will find the marked discount rarely matches the actual cost. Zozi hikes up the price of true cost of the experience to allow them to market a larger discount. This is fraud and a total scam. Zozi looks really cool but is just another Groupon clone that survives by scamming their customers and the merchants who do the real work.

I hate that you've had issues with our merchants. We try very hard to find merchants who offer an awesome experience in all aspects for our customers. Each merchant has agreed to working with ZOZI and should have a great relationship with us (they agree to run their experience on ZOZI). I am sorry if that doesn't seem to be the case, but we are always available to talk to customers and merchants alike about any concerns they have (including payment).
ZOZI's goal is to bring great experiences and adventures to our customers and let them know about opportunities they may not otherwise be familiar with. We always try to get customers the best price. Sometimes we're able to provide a rate reduction other times we just want customers to know about something amazing in their area. There's no scam here, just people passionate about living actively and encouraging others to do so. I called about a coupon code not working on the vendor's website and Alexandra immediately assessed the issue and reissued a new code. Additionally, she actually sent an email directly and asked for a follow up! Great customer service. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is I sent an email immediately to *******@zozi (still have not received a response) and I had to wait until the next dayZozi opened to get someone on the phone (I am on EST, they are on PST). May want to have 24 hour service or close to it...
I wrote to the team at Zozi looking for shoes with a few specifications. Jessye was so quick to respond with several options and suggestions for me to consider. Even when I wrote back with tons of follow-up questions, she answered everything promptly, informatively, and even with humor and a genuine friendliness. I will definitely go back to Zozi for any outdoor gear that I'm interested in!
I purchased some ticket vouchers for foam fest bcuz the price was reasonable & affordable for me & my team. When I got the codes they didn't work and I had one of the customer service agents helping me out. I bought it in a Friday and kept being persistent with my emails over the weekend. Within 24hrs the original rep I spoke with (via chat online) sent me an email letting me they are still working on it. On Tuesday I received an email about my codes.
I went to the website & was able to register & confirm my teams time! It was very frustrating for me but thanks to Marika from customer service everything was handle in a timely manor. They reassured me that they would take care of it if not I would get a full refund!
Needless to say I will be doing Foam Fest & buying on their site in the future!
I inadvertently made a duplicate purchase for the same deal. I emailed them immediately but go no response. I called but there are no live operators. I left a message but received no call back. Called again. Same story. Still waiting.
Great customer service! I ordered some packing accessories from Zozi and the shipment arrived in timely manner. However, they sent the wrong item. I contacted the customer service and they sent me the correct item right away. The issue was resolved quickly. I am happy with my overall experience with Zozi.
I placed an order on December 15, I realized on December 24 I have not heard from them on the status of shipping. I contacted them to find out the status. They did not even ship it, just gave excuses on their warehouse. I told them to just cancel the order, they could not even do that correctly. Today, January 6, the Director of Community & Customer Loyalty, Evan emails me and admits there was another error and they just processed the refund. The only thing they seem to know how to do correctly is collect the money.
Had an issue with something I purchased and zozi was awesome! They were over the top responsive and were great to deal with!

We purchased a zozi weekend rock climbing tour and the guide no-showed without contacting us. We could not reschedule and the three of us emailed zozi. My girlfriend got a quick response and a refund along with zozi credit for $25. I didn't receive a response back for 10 days. I re-emailed and called and 2 days later I called again. 15 days later I finally re-emailed a seething complaint about service and they responded back with a cookie cutter refund apologizing for a completely different company. The representative's name was Allison C.
They didn't read any of the emails I sent, nor did they offer additional credit they extended to someone else, and they CLOSED the ticket so I couldn't respond to their cookie-cutter email about "zozi is devoted to a great experience blah blah".
Still waiting on refund, still waiting on reopening the ticket, and they sent me a link to review their service. Oh I will. Once you're done servicing me.

What can I say? I have purchased 3 experiences on this site over the last 12 months, and they have all been amazing.
I typically use ZOZI for travel related events, so I spend most of my time looking at their "Getaways".
My girlfriend and I traveled to Miami and stayed at one of their hotels as well as a hotel in Dallas (work related) and took a trip up to Northern California (Mendocino).
Each and every place we stayed were incredible. I'm honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews.
