I have been on this site since September. At first they were a number of ladies to view. Within a week it had shrivelled up to nothing. Some of my friends profiles we're on there. They had cancelled months in years before. I set my parameters for a specific age and her specific distance from home. I was getting individuals 10 years older than I was looking for. Over three thousand kilometres away versus the 50 kilometres I had submitted. When you log in it automatically fills up with those that have viewed you. It's the same people every time. I just cancelled my subscription. I had five identical messages from five different individuals. These individuals we're the same individuals I would see that had viewed me a number of times a day. I had a conversation with one individual that said they were 12 kilometres away and lived in the same city. When I described where I lived which is a very popular section of the city, she had no idea where it was. When I mentioned the main intersection she had no idea where that was. I know she wasn't from the city in fact I would question if she were from the country. Just total scam
I canceled my subscription after 9 days. Zoosk wouldn't let me cancel subscription even after I met someone and canceled my subscription. Three days after trying to cancel my subscription Zoosk took another payment without my authorization and it wasn't even time to renew my subscription. There's no way to contact anyone to file a complaint so I had to cancel my credit card so they wouldn't steal anymore of my money.
Very amazing woman so far, going to visit her soon but i see no reason to keep paying 24.99 a month had too just to message her, please charge less for this feature for future users
If you are crazy enough to pay for this site, let me advise you to try all others first! It's full if fake views and they use profiles of closed accounts. The site makes it appear most people are obsessively viewing your profile! Is false! I have had many men get upset or irritated that I won't message them or respond back to their messages indicating i have viewed them many many times! Completely false! I either never did or once accidentally... it's ridiculous and not kind to mess with people's emotions in this way without permission...
Mileage is so way off wrong it's sad and judging people by their picture alone is difficult. Other than that I met someone & am very happy
I had to go through many before I found the right one. I reviewed several dating sites and liked Zoosk the best. Easy to navigate.
Great website. Easy to navigate, would recommend! Happy that I've met people along the way and hope other people find happiness on this site. Good luck
It's okay; after a couple of years and several meetings I have found someone really special!
I don't know why local women will not communicate with Me? Is it a Manitowoc thing?
Tried this dating site. Absolute waste of time. So pleased I didn't part with any money. Wrote some nice profiles - waste of time. No-one ever replies, no messages or anything. Constantly bombarded with adverts to take out a subscription - very expensive so avoided. As site came online, faded mosaic of old members photos, reminiscent of well-known scamming dating web site. Looks like clone running in background with new front end, very suspicious. None will ever contact you as all these profiles are empty fakes. Got many views yet no messages. Spotted pattern - only got viewed when I was offline. All views received were false - generated automatically by algorithms in system software behind the web site. Paused my profile for a while - inactive so no-one could see it. Wow, I got so many views and emails saying I need to login asap as XXX or YYY wants to contact me. Really? How was that possible when my profile was not active and thus hidden from view? BS. Ran advanced searches using lots of different criteria. Very revealing. For a site that claims to have 40 million singles, searches produced only handful of profiles or in some cases absolutely none at all. 'There is no-one online at the moment' was often the system message. This is a statistical impossibility for an international web site. A few token bimbo pictures exist. Careful these are only there to prise a subscription out of your pocket. They're not even real. Ran an automated search several times in quick succession. It ran out of matches to show me, which is odd for site that claims to have 40 million singles. Last profile photo repeatedly got displayed as if it was a completely new user each time. It had an age that kept changing to new values - an identical user photo aged 25, or 26, or 27, or 28, or 29, or 30 and so on. The system was likely automatically generating fake profiles to artificially match to (false) computer-generated data. The algorithm does this presumably to make it look as if there are plenty of different people online, when in fact this is not the case. Sure, there will be a few real people on the site. But goodness when 95% of all profiles have no text but only a single photo, it's easy to wonder if any of these are at all really genuine. Of the remaining 5% possible real people, many had profiles contained such negative views from members with bad entitlement attitudes, that no-one in their right mind would ever wish to meet them anyway. Financials for the owner company's marketing and overall revenue figures is 50M+ Euros! Not bad from a business to maximise profit return on investments. My advice: These are scammers of the first order. Dating site? More like One.BIg.Con Please Avoid - Avoid - Avoid.
After a long search, I finally met a men on Zoosk who turned out to be exactly what I never thought I'd find. I had really just given up and was beginning completely skeptical and then had a great first date, and then another, and another, and another. We are making future plans together and neither one of us can believe how we got so lucky!
Well, I've thought about it and here is what I have to say about online dating. I've been involved with it off and on since 2006. From then until now I've had 3 women in my life (at different times) that would be considered girlfriends, meaning that we were dating exclusively. 2 of them I didn't meet online. The third one I did meet online very recently. She was the original reason that I made the decision to delete my account. After she terminated the endeavor (this is absolutely not directed towards her), I decided to go ahead and delete the account anyway. I will say that she was the first one in 12 years that even came close to being a successful contact. This was not because of a spark, but because I regrouped my thinking and decided to try taking time to experience who the person is. For a long time I wondered where the so called spark was that everyone that tries to sell online dating talked about. I think, and this is just my opinion, it happens but in very isolated cases. Most of the time we expect it and if it's not there upon the first meeting we don't give it a chance. Yes, I'm guilty of this and so are some of the ladies I've met. So, this most recent one was visually appealing, which like most men I noticed right away, but I wanted to get to know her and see if feelings would develop just from hanging out and experiencing mannerisms, voice tones, laughter and conversation. These are the things that are missing that create that spark. What am I talking about you say. Here it is, in most cases ramping up to the spark is the things we notice about a person upon a real life face to face interaction. So, what about the meetings after corresponding online? Well, these meetings were procured from a picture, profile, and messaging like it was designed to be by the online service. That being said, the proper way to do online dating is forget about the salespitch of love at first sight. If you get along during your first meet and they haven't lied about their age and picture, give it a chance. Something may get the attention of either one of you during the subsequent dates that create that spark. You both may not see it at the same time either. Bottom line is there are human factors that can't be put in a profile or picture. Goodby to Zoosk, and good luck to everyone.
Too many fakes and too hard to cancel... it's unreasonable to have to struggle to cancel auto pay...,
Well I have just started dating a lady from Zoosk- this site or maybe most sites it's really hard to have a conversation most people don't even talk - at this point I have felt like i am not not looking for love just playing a game like candy crush - can I like 3 girls in a row or dislike 10 in a row - does curvy really mean a few ponds over weight. ( would have been nice to know who is looking for interracial date mate) so maybe i found someone or maybe not but if I didn't I am pretty sure I need to try something didn't at least down load candy so i have a real game to play,
Always keep looking and searching. Time is something that can not be captured but the person you are looking for will eventually stop time in its tracks and you will know.
Met on Zoosk Jack who is from Queens, NYC. We spoke briefly and I already felt good vibes from him. We are planning to meet in next few days. Thank you zoosk!
Just when I was ready to give up on Zoosk I gave it one more shot. I made it my practice to never go out without a few exchanged phone calls but with only one call we clicked so well I agreed to meet up for a date to see if there was chemistry. I am glad I did and I am excited to see where things go.
It can work if you give it a chance. You have to keep messaging. Ultimately if your personalities mesh, than it will work.
Found a very nice person possible best friend. We cook together go out together enjoy the same movies food clothes places.
Answer: These view are fake. Zoosk is lousy site! They obviously mislead their customers giving them fake likes and matches. You get instant bot auto-responses. I left to http://J4Love.net The result of my search there is incredibly awesome: I finally spent Christmas with my woman! I had wasted 11 months on Zoosk and then it took me just one month here to meet my perfect woman. Don't let Zoosk con you into their shady and phony "dating" kingdom. Zoosk is worthless, time is precious! The longevity of profiles is tremendous, they are there for years, obviously outdated.
Answer: The real matches are scant and located at distant places. The fake matches are abundant especially when your membership is about to end. It's phony. I met my girlfriend on http://J4Love.net This dating service is a lot better than Zoosk, Match, Tinder, etc. They are more professional with ethical approach to business - something that Zoosk lacks now. Zoosk used to be better couple of years ago, but now they suck.
Answer: ZOOSK, is a total RIPOFF
Answer: NO MA'AM IT IS NOT. In fact I only used the coins when I could get them for free. Under the system that's no longer possible. Nobody takes that sort of thing seriously, and for a woman it's even less relevant.
Answer: In the two months I have been on Zoosk. I have chatted with a number of woman, exchanged phone numbers and talked on the phone and I am just an average looking joe. I have also had times when I received a chat request and the person does not respond. You do have to pay to chat and the other person has to be a paid member. OK if your reading this there is one thing I found, if you search, only pay attention to the ones that say "recently online", the other ones may be fake or no longer active. It's a numbers game I have had many that did not respond to my messages also.
Answer: I believe it is. But how safe is the internet these days. Just don't be quick to give too much information too soon you will know when its right to share. Good luck
Answer: Not at all don't bother buying them just play some games u will get some
Answer: Chances are you're sending a message to someone that was a member long ago and isn't registered any longer. Zoosk is a total scam.
Answer: Unfortunatly not. You have to be a member. I suggest you don't try this site. It won't help you to find wat you're looking for. Cheers. R.
Answer: I can't believe you expect that! The whole idea is anonymity until people are comfortable with exchanging personal info.
