I am new to online dating and Zoosk is my first experience. I was happy with the connections I made, but when I canceled I was charged for an additional 3 months. I would have given them a great review until this happened.
I canceled 2 days before my acct expired, I received email from Zoosk that I could use may acct until it expired. I used it the day before it expired and was charged for 3 more months. Now, I am trying to get my money back in 5 to 10 days! I think they will refund, I hope!
Be careful and watchful if you cancel. And be suspicious of what they tell you in emails.
Online scammer and cam girls, very few local woman, but hundreds of desperate dudes, So be prepared to lie, If you want to get noticed, and if your older realize everybody's picture is 10 years old, no matter what they say, and in the end there's a reason why she is alone and online dating! If your a guy be prepared to work at this like a job, There are better ways,
I meet a great lady on zoosk you know how to much to get to know each otherwise you can drop it by the phone number and then send me a message
Secure and very detailed. Felt comfortable that who I was talking to was a real person. They are very good.
Top reasons why not to use Zoosk:
1- Draconian photo policy, zoosk approves every photo and if they don't approve of a shot there is nothing you can do. They wouldn't accept a perfectly innocent shot of me in a landscape. Stupid. I should be able to put whatever photos I want in my profile, as long as they fit the basic guidelines, etc. Oddly, while it wouldn't accept a photo of me out in nature, it seems to accept thousands of photos of women that are out of focus, or so heavily edited you can only guess at what they actually look like.
2- Low character limit in profile. 500 characters is all you get folks.
3- The "Matchmaking" features are garbage, it is a sort based on distance, nothing else. People you have rejected will show up again and again in you "Smart Picks" How is that smart?
4- Low quality potential mates - If you are looking for an overweight, um I mean "Curvy", middle aged woman, who "Attended some college," "loves to laugh" and enjoys reality TV, Zooks is the place for you!
5- Zoosk's goal is to make a profit, finding you a good match isn't that important in their business model. This site is all about the up sell, so get ready to spend a good deal more than the monthly subscription if you want to reply to messages, and get seen, etc.
6- a lot of people on Zooks just enter the minimum in their profiles so you get no sense of who they are.
Zoosk is the worst dating site I have encountered. Lots of people on there so they are making lots of money, but don't deserve it. If you click on links, you don't get the right person. If you try to communicate, you are asked to spend more money even as a subscriber. A rip off designed to fleece users desperate to meet people. Not recommended! Stay away.
Zoosk is a waste of money and time. It doesn't allow you the option to write enough about yourself to find a compatible partner, so you are many basing your interest in someone on their appearance. I would put it a step below many of the free websites because you have to pay money to use it and it doesn't have as many options as other sites, such as picture captions and advance search options.
Another dating site trying to grasp your money, robots that are not real people interested in $, deceptive tricks to keep you subscribed
Do not waste your money on this site. Its absolutely crap. I better find a decent woman elsewhere, this website is just grabbing your money, destroying lives and what ever else they are doing. Preying on others, shame on you.
I have met 2 wonderful men on Zoosk. The first man I dated for almost 2 years, great guy, professional, adventurous and we travelled quite a bit. We just didn't want the same things out of a relationship and after 2 years we parted ways on a friendly note. I figured since Zoosk had done right for me in the past it was the main dating site I was going to use. After a few dates with others I met a wonderful man. We are like two peas in a pod.
I paid for a subscription, then after 1 week of using it they wanted me to pay for another subscription just to message members.
I would give you a better review but the fact i have to give you information on who I met and how. I'm a private person and dont need to share who when and where. Also having to jump through hoops to delete is really annoying... just accept the fact I met someone and be happy with it.
Fun access to dating! Variety of potential partners presented on an easy, flowing website.
Would like the option to place a video amongst the photos.
If you don't look like Brad Piit, George Clooney, Ryan Renolds. If you're not loaded or at least high salaried professional. If you're over 55.
If you're not highly
Good luck
Do not use this dating site. I have filed a complaint with their legal department - I was a member for close to a year, Then someone took over my account. I started to get phone calls from a stranger. For a single woman, that can be quite scary. I went to my Zoosk site and my sign in did not work, I changed my password and got on my profile. Someone had changed my picture to theirs, and changed my password and changed birth - date. I corrected all info, contacted Zoosk about the hack job. A week later, Zoosk contacted me to tell me my account was blocked and I needed to get a new email and new account. I contacted them again that this was unacceptable. They gave me their legal department email. As I read all of the reviews of Zoosk I found that this is not uncommon. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE to ZOOSK. They do not care about your privacy or resolving fraud issues

Was a long process but the search is over thanks for the amount of people I got to talk to on here was
I already put in a bad review for zoosk. It's a huge ripoff and they mislead you by sending messages stating someone is interested in you. If I liked someone I'd message them and would never get responses. I talked to someone on the site and he said he never got one response from anyone! Anyway if you ever want to check out one of these dating sites and waste money like I did, I bought a prepaid Visa card so they couldn't try to charge my debit card again. Smart right?! Then when it was time to renew my subscription I knew there was no way they could try to charge me again and I wouldn't have to call my bank and try to get a refund since I already knew I didn't want to renew. It was worth the few bucks I paid for the prepaid gift card. But please don't waste your money on these dumb dating sites! It's more disappointing and frustrating than anything. Scam!
If you are looking for a serious faithful relationship forget this site or any other online dating site. I met a man right away and we met for coffee and then dinner. He seemed like someone I would enjoy spending time with. I wasn't interested in a serious or even marriage. I wanted companionship which included sex. It took me months to realize he was the poster child of sexual predator for online dating. Only interested in his satisfaction. Ladies these men are on every site out there. You put in your parameters and you still get people you would never be interested in. Let's face it, they only want one thing. They are not the least bit interested in you as a person. I've been told there are women like this also but I feel most women are looking for more.
Answer: These view are fake. Zoosk is lousy site! They obviously mislead their customers giving them fake likes and matches. You get instant bot auto-responses. I left to http://J4Love.net The result of my search there is incredibly awesome: I finally spent Christmas with my woman! I had wasted 11 months on Zoosk and then it took me just one month here to meet my perfect woman. Don't let Zoosk con you into their shady and phony "dating" kingdom. Zoosk is worthless, time is precious! The longevity of profiles is tremendous, they are there for years, obviously outdated.
Answer: The real matches are scant and located at distant places. The fake matches are abundant especially when your membership is about to end. It's phony. I met my girlfriend on http://J4Love.net This dating service is a lot better than Zoosk, Match, Tinder, etc. They are more professional with ethical approach to business - something that Zoosk lacks now. Zoosk used to be better couple of years ago, but now they suck.
Answer: ZOOSK, is a total RIPOFF
Answer: NO MA'AM IT IS NOT. In fact I only used the coins when I could get them for free. Under the system that's no longer possible. Nobody takes that sort of thing seriously, and for a woman it's even less relevant.
Answer: In the two months I have been on Zoosk. I have chatted with a number of woman, exchanged phone numbers and talked on the phone and I am just an average looking joe. I have also had times when I received a chat request and the person does not respond. You do have to pay to chat and the other person has to be a paid member. OK if your reading this there is one thing I found, if you search, only pay attention to the ones that say "recently online", the other ones may be fake or no longer active. It's a numbers game I have had many that did not respond to my messages also.
Answer: I believe it is. But how safe is the internet these days. Just don't be quick to give too much information too soon you will know when its right to share. Good luck
Answer: Not at all don't bother buying them just play some games u will get some
Answer: Chances are you're sending a message to someone that was a member long ago and isn't registered any longer. Zoosk is a total scam.
Answer: Unfortunatly not. You have to be a member. I suggest you don't try this site. It won't help you to find wat you're looking for. Cheers. R.
Answer: I can't believe you expect that! The whole idea is anonymity until people are comfortable with exchanging personal info.
