Zillow.com falsely advised our house in Naples Florida as Sold, the date it was sold and the price paid, the mortgage I had, this was all complete load of lies,
There is no one I can complain to about this site, and because the house is a rental has caused me no end of problems with my guests who have rented the house from me, any help would be appreciated

Do not use zillow
April 15, 2017

I would not recommend using zillow to sell your home. They don't allow the owner to be contacted directly, buyers have to contact a realtor the way it's set up.

They removed my listing by owner and never notified me. I have lost time and clients. No phone number to contact a live person.

Very Rude
May 8, 2020

They are very rude and keep pressuring you to buy the land when you are not comfortable with it. They have hassled me so much. They make the whole situating much more stressful than it should be. To be exact, Alex at Zillow keeps hounding me. He will not leave me alone or answer any questions for me. Never using Zillow for anything.

I would like to thank everyone that posts on Zillow and then promptly does not respond to multiple e-mails and calls. Really appreciate it - I guess it's not that important to find a place to live. Maybe you will see me on a street corner somewhere holding a homeless sign due to your negligence.

I was looking for buying a townhouse or small house in Ellicott City (MD). About 50% that I found on Zillow.com as "available to buy" were sold or under contract in reality. Finally I bought a townhouse in Dec 2012 for $290,000, however in Nov 2013, my townhouse was marked on the website as "Sold May 2013 for $318,000". Where does the site gain information about houses?

I'm working in Bogatov Realty Inc., successful company with a high indicator of sales.
We signed up for Zillow leads service in the end of 2013. The result from it is absolutely ZERO!
The company pay $2500 per month, but never get a real leads. Its leads look like a fake with wrong phone numbers and nonexistent emails.
We want to stop our contract, but cancellation fee is $6000! This is like a real trap! We are disappointed!

Zillow.com created a totally wrong event, listed our house as sold and foreclosed to lender. We contacted them, they said sorry, but they do not make any correction to remove the wrong information on our house in Zillow website foreclosure listing. It is wasting our time and energy because we contact them four times, they did not take any action to fix the issue. The website information is not reliable and inaccurate.

They use a computer to appraise my house? I have had every realtor tell me that because of the low Zillow number, the close on the actual value of the house is hard for the buyer to justify. It is the mindless fear that is somewhat justified that people believe what they see on the web, as fact. For that reason, zillow is robbing me of my opportunity to sell the house at the true market price. With these vampires on the market, only areas that their computers think have value will appreciate.

Just got off the phone with someone who refused to identify themselves who was rude and threatening (this is your last warning maam) I said warning for what? My husband and I own property we wanted to sell. This rude rep said they do not do listings for two owners. This btw was a re-list of a post we had put on Zillow a year ago and have re posted two other times. They do not even have someone to answer their customer service number really left a bad taste for me.

I not happy with their low end leads... Once I ask to cancel my 1 year contract they charged me 2 month@$286.00 to cancel contract... Zillow is a rip off they use our MLS information and they pay absolutely nothing for our MLS information. Beware of Zillow... I am a 27 year real estate Broker... learning a lesson the hard way.

Cancelled my ad and account out of spite
May 18, 2022

Zillow cancelled a paid rental ad. They did not notify me or refund. When I protested cancelling a legitimate ad and demanded a refund, they refunded half the amount I paid and blocked my account for ALL my rentals. Believe they are god.

I agree with other reviews that Zillow is horrible in managing customer relations. While my home was properly listed for years, someone at Zillow changed my listing and posted another house in my location. They apparently confused a house on Callowhill St. With mine on Callowhill Rd. It is an understandable mistake, but I am shocked that my dozens of requests to correct the issue have gone completely ignored for almost 2 years. I hope that this does not become a problem when I need to sell my home.
Once Zillow Corrects my issue, I will update my review with the experience. Until that time trust me in saying that ZIllow must have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. So much so that it triggered me to write this, my first negative review ever for anyone.

Zillow maybe ok if you are looking to buy BUT if you are trying to SELL your house, its a racket. I listed my house 3 weeks ago and had this 72 hr hold on... why? Then i received a phone call asking Q about my house which was all on the listing. The agent said another 72 hrs. Its been 3 weeks my post keeps saying its "off market" and i was contacted asking if i want an real estate agent to help me sell my house! Wtf? I wanted to do it myself. Left 3 messages and never got a phone call back. I seen my neighbors house pictured as a foreclosure house when in fact its not and not even on the market. Bottom line... they like to play games. I rate them a negative 1000 if i could, a one star is way too over rated

Zillow recently changed the three schools listed for our house. I contacted Zillow to have them change back to the three assigned schools were were rated 9,9, and 10. They make excuses and nothing happens. So, the schools listed are 9 (assigned), a NR (Christian school), and a 3 (Alternative High School). I am not sure how Zillow can consider my concerns a bother. You would think that Zillow would want to reflect the actual information, the correct information, but it does not seem to care. I guess, the Zillow CEO does not care also and this is reflective on his personnel.

I have no problem with the site itself. It has obvious benefits to anyone interested in buying or selling real estate. I do have a problem, however, with their deplorable "customer service". If you're unfortunate enough to have a problem with your post or listing, good luck, there's no help to be found. Nobody home.

Misleading
July 21, 2017

0 stars. Takes months to update new information, if at all. Consumers are mislead with out of date information. Zillow is trying to steal the consumers from the trusted, accurate mls's. It's how theyre making their money. Lets shut down overzealous zillow, who dont know the real estate market and steals the info from our mls, and put our money back to the trusted mls who works hard to keep clients, and participants well informed daily

zillow.com is a scam
April 24, 2012

zillow.com is a scam. They had our home listed as for sale last year when it was not. It took me weeks to get them to remove it. Then a few months later it was back up again, once more for sale! My home has never been for sale & I finally got them to remove the second listing. If I see it up there again I plan to sue!

As an agent in Vancouver, WA I made a video of my listing and tried posting it 3 times but the video would not post. The instructions seemed simple and the process looked easy but no video. So I called for help and got a disgruntled person who promised they would post for me, but no video. I emailed them and never got a reply. This happened 3 times.

I get the poor attitude and the bothered tone from the Zillow rep with each of my 3 calls. They deal with this daily. They know it will not work but they must say the same lies, "We will load this for you". When I email them that the video is still not loaded I get no replies.
