I was told that I would have to pay my annual fee for the cancellation. My membership started August 26th and it is february 21st and somehow I have to pay an annual fee? How on earth does that math work? I'm almost 6 months away from a year and I'm paying an annual fee? There are much better gyms.
Youfit works like a gang crew. When you enroll, they never tell you all informations. If for any really you want to leave, they tell you that you are under a contract and can't cancel it. Legally, any party can cancel the contract at anytime. They make you pay for only a basic service they offer. No massage, no team work.
I purchased a personal trainer that I thought was $280 for the whole 6 months. The gym advised I would receive a copy of the contract to review the same day, but I didn't receive it for 4.5 months. They also indicated I could leave the state on vacation and they would freeze my contract. (never happened) I found out 4.5 months after signing up, the contract was $280 every month for six months. The management is not transparent on any of their business dealings and the gym has a pathetic line of work out equipment. I do not recommend this gym or a personal trainer because neither one is worth the price!
My membership is for the basic at $10.69 a month. I go twice a week so that to me is reasonable and I get my moneys worth. I do have them set debit out of my account. However I recently changed my card controls to stop automatic payment withdrawals so that I could pay on the app. Interestingly today, I received a notice stating that their debit had been declined for $13.69 yet I was able to go on the app and pay the amount $10.69. Just keep an eye on it and utilize your card controls to protect yourself from over debiting From any company
I was a member for over 6 years, I never had any problems, the equipment is ok and no one bothers you when you are working out. But, when I tried to cancel, they gave me the run around and wouldn't tell me how to cancel. Now it is with a collection agency and they want more money from me. They said I had to cancel in writing, but I still have no idea where to send the cancellation request, so I stopped paying. NEVER join this gym if you ever need to leave it is very difficult.
Buyer beware! Youfit located in Miami Gardens the clerks,Lulu and Gaby, both has poor ethics and no sense of customer value! After being a member for over ten (10) years, I immediately canceled my membership when they both blanetly lied! Please know that previous management would have never tolerated this kind negative and insulting behavior from her front desk clerks! I will highly encourage anyone who maybe considering this Youfit location to think again!
Had been a consistent member for 8 years surviving by respecting everyone's intentions while working out...I also had the upgraded membership...until I was disrespected.an management messed this situation up...but like anything in life it all starts with management...I've had a thriving business here for 34 years...for a reason...your only as good as the people working for you...its sad...but on to planet fitness...
So, my very mature 6'5" 220 grandson who is 17 wants to be health and fit instead of sitting around the house playing video games. Both his parents are deceased and he is really trying to be a positive person. I thought this facility would be a great choice for him but much to my disappointment no.
-With the new year they have a waiver of the sign up for that would not apply to him. So they want a $92 sign up fee.
- The $9.98 monthly cost won't apply to him but would be $22.00 per month plus an extra $7-9 per month because he is 17 and not 18+.
I'm on a limited income and told I could afford this for him but with these additional costs are too much. So a guess YOU Fit doesn't consider the health of the younger health conscience students? Planet Fitness offers great programs for younger persons but there aren't any near his foster home.
This morning Jan 7 i was treated with disrespect by one the personal trainer boss. He.never gave me his name and he said that he was the boss.
He has muscles in this body and air in his brain.
I should have taken his picture to displayed but he thru a 67 years old lady out, just because i complained about a zumba class that i confirmed before coming in and when i got there, there was no classes.
I hope the camaras recorded the incident.
KEEP AWAY FROM
THEM...
I personally went to unsubscribe after 6 months without going. They told me it was fine and nothing else was necessary. After 3 months I see that they continue to charge me and try to charge me an extra annual fee. As I reported them on the card, they sent me to collection. They continually call and threaten even though it is prohibited by law.
Joined a location close to my home in July 2022 for the $24.99. Overall I was happy with my services until my location was closed. The location my account was sent to is out of the way and more than five miles from my home. They took my monthly payment two days before they closed and refused to refund. They also gave me the run around with local store and corporate on the cancellation. They also refuse to refund the membership I paid in September even thou I am forced to find another gym closer to my home due to no fault of my own.
I was very dissatisfied with the service, I made my registration yesterday and today I closed. They deceived me, they said that they had a promotion for the basic membership and it was not true, they coerced me into buying the premium membership, every time I said that I only wanted the basic membership they made excuses. In conclusion, I was very dissatisfied with the service because they don't really care about taking care of you, they only care about selling
I unknowingly signed up for a 12 month contract and the gym facilities were not that nice and it was dirty so I decided I wasn't in my budget and not worth my money. For months I've been trying to discuss getting out of the contract for months and they started off by making it a difficult as possible to get into contact with their billing company ABC solutions and then when you finally get on the phone with them their rude and don't know what their talking about. And they want me to pay ridiculous fees to not go to their facility, something I'm already doing I went twice and have not been their in months and now the have sent me to collections to poach 390 dollars I don't have since I'm a 18 year spring admit college student.
Wow! Just there a few days ago. Went to work out today and the building is vacant. No sign on the door. Nothing. Sign on door in picture from nearby fitness Center asking for business. How many other locations closing I wonder. I just recently joined and no way to contact management. Staff at other location 20 minutes away just says they are sorry. Of course, I know they can't control. I was required to go there personally to submit cancellation of membership. Very poor business practice.
You Fit Gym located at 9057 Taft Street, Pembroke Pines, Florida, Telephone *******800. Stay away if you can. Gym is overcrowded, so much that is unsafe. Air conditioning is insufficient and the administration do not fix it. Clerks and personal trainers are impolite. Not all but a great majority of customers are disrespectful. Many people occupy areas designated for walking as excercise floor, leaving their weights scattered, and employees do not enforce rules.
What a pile of lies they spout in their promotions! They claim to offer a $10 per month membership but with a $42 "sign up" fee and a $54 "membership" fee the actual yearly cost with tax is more than $225, or nearly $20 per month. There are gyms with better and more equipment (i. E. Crunch) that charge considerably less for a yearly membership. YouFit used to be a gym that cared about member costs but no more, plus now they scam you with extra fees and bogus claims about monthly costs. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
This gym at first glance seems ok, but the people are unfriendly, work on equipment and clean while members are working out, they did not post hours for holidays and then have incompetent trainers. The manager is a hack and only cares about his numbers. They fired the trainer I contracted with and will not let me out of the contract. I injured my knee and ended up with a horrible experience.
Joined gym. Agreed to 50 dollar year fee and 10 a month. No problems with that. Been there for just short of a year and am leaving to an area where no you fit is located. I was charged a 10 dollar processing fee to cxl my membership which I had to be there in person to do. That's so they can collect the 10 dollars I'm sure. It's only 10 dollars but what a sham. Will never join this gym again
Gym seen clean price seems nice, people seem nice. Trust me it just seems like that. The machines are always broken, and never wiped down. Most of the time they take months to get fix. The bathrooms are always discussing, and the staff is rude. As far as the price, well they raised my membership without even a warning. During the shut down they charged me even while they were closed, and my account was frozen go to planet fitness. You'll be better off there.
They're crooks! They charged my credit card even that they were/still closed. Last month (may 2020) they charged me twice, their phone customer service is a joke nobody take the call and the automatic system hang up on you, they deleted all the comments I posted in their Facebook page and blocked me so I can't post more comments asking about why they charged my cc... do yourself a favor pay a little bit more and join a different gym.
Answer: Youfit rips people off. I've been consistently charged $21 to my account despite the company's closure as a result of Covid. All attempts to cancel my subscription was ignored and not considered. If this is not fraud, then I don't know what it is.
Answer: I chose this company because after viewing the things I the site i really liked what they had to offer now i wish i had not ordered from them
Answer: Awful! I was told there is no customer service number, to put in a complaint to!
