We received the light we purchased, after waiting a very long time. The light had clearly been returned by a previous buyer, as the wires were all twisted at the ends from wire nuts having been previously installed! We had electricians and lighting company tell us not to use this light, that it appears dangerous! Additionally, we were never able to get this light to work, not even once! I've been trying to get a refund for months now and the company only responds about once a week and every time they pretend they are going to send me more parts. I've told them multiple times I want my money back and they have yet to refund my money! I plan to take further legal action against the company!

My order for lighting was over $2,000. There were 12 Tinkerbell shade LED lights, of which three were defective. It was a struggle to get YLighting to acknowledge the defects. In the end, after many calls, they shipped out one more DEFECTIVE replacement. I will never patronize this place again!

I'm shocked and outraged a company can treat customers with distain in this time of social media. Do whatever you can to avoid. Be prepared to have them spam you with ads. You have been warned. Hopefully before you buy, not after.

DOESN'T GET ANY WORSE THAN THIS
Got a track light from YLighting. The transformer just stopped working after 4 months. Called the company to request a replacement. They were very prompt in sending a return label for the defective one, but this is where everything stopped. At the time, I was told the transformer was on back order and should be shipped to me in about 1 week. Three more weeks are gone since and every time I call they just push it further. It is the manufacturer fault they say. What about their responsibility, apparently they have none. I paid for this track light around 1500$, I will have to pay twice for the installation and for more than a month now I have no light in the kitchen. In top of everything, YLighting also offers extremely bad costumer service, very disrespectful and unprofessional. I will never purchase from this site again.

2 were damaged. Took 6 months to replace one. No one knows when parts for other will arrive from Italy. Selections are great - service not so much

I bought a $3,000 flush mount ceiling lamp. For starters, the lamp came slightly damaged, which wasn't their fault. They offered me 10% off to keep, which I accepted. However, once I had the electrician installed it, the dimmer didn't work. I called them and they were nice in the beginning trying to help me troubleshoot the issue. During this time, I had the electrician come out three times doing what they told me to do, but in the end, the electrician told me that this is a commercial light and uses 5 wires, while residential homes use 3 wires. So, when I called them to tell them this, they first said, I took the 10% off and accepted it. I had to remind them that was for the damage. After I overcame that, next they said it has been too long since I ordered the light, but then I told them that I have been in constant contact with them about this and I had to schedule the electrician three times to come out which takes time as well. In the end, they basically said that they sell residential and commercial lights and that I should have called them before ordering to confirm. The bottom line, this company will absolutely do anything to not refund you.

Horrible experience! I bought a Modloft Lenox media cabinet on 5/24 exclusively because their website said "in stock, ship within 10 business day". I waited without receiving any notification for the 10 days and found out after 3 weeks that the item was now out of stock and that was never received by the delivery company. Called Ylighting customer service 3 times and all what I got was them blaming on the lack of communication between them and Modloft (the first 2 times I was said that it is just difficult to deal with Modloft and the third time that the issue with the shipment was related to a Covid outbreak in the Modloft warehouse). Regardless of who is responsible for the situation, I had to wait 3 weeks and I am still without a media cabinet and I spent extra money in my house to adapt the cable outlets to the height of the cabinet. Everyone can have bad experience and things might not work at times, however, in this case I am angry and upset because of the misleading information provided by them on their website. The 10 days shipment promise was clearly a false information. It was the only reason why I bought from them. My experience is an example of bait and switch and I hope they become more prudent with their communication style. The order has been now cancelled and I hope to get a refund! Bad bad experience!

My $2000 Foscarini floor lamp came with a broken white glass on June 19th. Till date I do not have a replacement. What is worse is, they just do not respond to email or voicemail. I have no update on what is going on or a ETA of the broken lamp. I was sent an email that UPS will come to my home to inspect the broken glass! I have been dealing with Sheena King (sent her an email 9 days back. No reply) and prior to that Martin Valencia. It is beyond my imagination that a company ca exist in business with this horrible customer service!

RIPPED OFF
June 19, 2021

I bought 2 lamps for $426.00 +tax. They charged me $346.00 for return shipping. Gave me $112.00 refund from the$426.00 that I paid. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!

I ordered a WAC Lighting pendant fixture from YLighting and received within one week. I removed the fixture from the box and held the fixture in the proposed location for review to only realize I did not like the fixture. I placed the fixture back into the box and returned to YLighting after 2-3 weeks of waiting on WAC Lighting to respond to the return request and send a return label. I was notified yesterday (8/7/17) by YLighting customer service that WAC Lighting claims I installed the fixture and did not even return the hardware. What's even worse than this false accusation is that now YLighting will absolutely not refund my money for the purchase and sides 100% with the manufacturer with no regard to their customer. As an online lighting retailer how can protect your customer who truthfully never installed a fixture, much less even removed the hardware for the work. I cannot fathom the poor retail practices on the part of both WAC Lighting and YLighting. Please know that YLighting is only an "order taker" and has zero stock of light fixtures. So if you have an issue with the fixture you will not receive support despite paying them their middle-man percentage. Extremely disappointed.

Terrible service.

The lamp I ordered August 14, Order Number-------. When they finally delivered it, it had missing parts. I contacted YLighting by email and phone. On September 5, I sent photos of the lamp with missing parts as requested. I recontacted YLighting September 18 via email. I called Sheena King, Return Specialist Lead, Phone: *******289. Twice. And emailed her as she had responded to my email. She failed to return the emails or calls. I called customer service, who said she doesn't return calls. The customer "service" person was blasé, seemingly uncaring, and I asked to speak to a supervisor. He said, after a wait, that the supervisor would call me back. No call. I sent an email back to *******@ylighting.com, the person I spoke to. No call back. I will never do business with Ylighting again, and that's too bad given I have ordered quite a few things from them before. I am disgusted with this company.

You seem not to have found out that they are EASILY replaceable. You don't call back. You don't respond to emails. You don't apologize in any sincere way. Larger businesses have a longer decline. Your uncaring shows. Behavior generalizes, and that means you are doing this to others (as I have since found out by looking up complaints against your customer service. You will not exist in time given this poor and uncaring response.

You should demonstrate some sincerity by compensating me for my time and efforts. You have made running my consulting business that much more difficult.
