When reps from DIRECT TV approached me and said they had a better system than DISH I believed them and changed cable network. The statement was not true. Since I have had DIRECT TV it has been nothing but a problem. TV blacks out, loose sound system freezes whether the program is live or recorded. I have spoken to the techs they send out and they tell me there is nothing they can do since it is a problem within the system. This has gone on for two years and the best DIRECT TV will offer is $30.00 off my bill for the next year. Would you stay with a company that constantly gives you poor service and has you frustrated daily while watching TV. Where is DISH. I would not recommend DIRECT TV to anyone. If you have DIRECT TV SEND A LETTER TO THE CEO if he is not aware of this he should be. Maybe if enough of us complain something will be done. I WILL NOT BE RENEWING WITH DIRECT TV! MY CONTRACT IS UP IN APRIL.

The sales rep assured me that I would only be billed for those prospects that actually did business with me. That turns out to be FALSE.

Yelp is some sort of scam when I initially signed up I was told that I would only pay for the leads that were executed and I got paid for but instead I'm being billed and charged and charged and build over and over again for jobs that never show up and people randomly calling to price check competition it's a scam it's a $#*! so far been robbed of over $500 by YELP

Yelp decides what reviews stay and which ones get deleted. Totally bogus. I have real life customer coming in to my business and writing great reviews about my place and yelp decides to filter them out of my page. Yelp only helps you if your paying them, if not they treat you like garbage and do whatever they want with your page. I spoke to customer service and tried to provide proof that these were real customers and they didn't care. I hope google reviews takes them out of business.

I Have a 100% fake review on our company. The person was never a client, can not prove they were a client and created a fake email address and did not use their real name and has a stock photo. We have fought with Yelp and they refuse to take it down. I saw the owner of Yelp crying on 60 minutes about Google dominating and making things difficult for them. I have zero sympathy for him and I hope to God they put Yelp and other businesses like Yelp who allow fake reviews out of business. There needs to be regulation. Anyone at anytime can destroy your reputation with absolutely zero vetting as to the validity of the review because of a platform allowed by Yelp. Lastly, I never asked to be on Yelp. They somehow found us and put us on the listings.

Yelp is the only place where the consumer can find truthful reviews. If you want to get to the nitty gritty, go to yelp. How many times have I gone to search for reviews and only get this inflated rankings from companies that pay to get a five star ratings. Yelp has been the only one to provide me with the truth because it comes directly from the consumer. All the reviews listed in here against yelp come from the business owners.

A few of my recent customers had asked where to write reviews for us. I told them Yelp because I'd heard it was good. Those folks went to the trouble to leave good reviews for us, and then Yelp just started deleting them. I called Yelp to say hey "wtf.?". Their response was that these folks didn't cut the muster for their review algorithm. Ok... next. What a bunch of $#*!s. Don't pay them a cent in advertising, or support this company in ANY way. I talked to yelp about why my 5 star reviews keep getting moved to "non recommended reviews". First they said it was randomly selected by their software. I had 4 5 star reviews and 1 1star review(which was from a person that I did not do business with and they deleted the 5 star review from my customer that I did do work for). They said the deletions are based on number of reviews submitted but the bad review they put on top had only 1 review posted. 2 of the 5 star reviews had many more reviews. Then they told me if I advertized with them I could get the 5 star reviews reinstated, This is blatant blackmail and extortion.

We are a small but profitable business in New York providing people with the services since 2014. We have our company listing on Yelp as anyone else does. In a month or so after we put the business on Yelp.com the sale representatives started to call us with the paid advertising proposals. They pushed us to buy the clicks. We refused to go with them because started to achieve good results on Google (for free). We invested a lot of time and creativity to bring online customers to our newly-opened business. We are not flattering ourselves, but this year Google mailed us a beautiful Christmas gift - a tote with our company picture and logo, a bunch of cards that Google advised us to give to clients encouraging people to continue leaving their feedback our company etc. In the holiday card they explained that we are doing just great - that's why they have sent us the gifts. And this was for $0.00 - just our personal efforts and ideas of our branding specialists and writers. I, as the representative of the company, decided to report the matter with Yelp because yesterday we have received a weird call. A Russian speaking Yelp's sales representative, addressing me in a loosy-goosy and disrespectful manner, insisted we to buy the yelp's paid clicks again. After I have repeated for the third time that we are not interested, he became more rude. The most interesting thing though is that he brought our attention to a negative review left by a customer insinuating that this review could be "transferred" into the well-known to all business owners folder named "reviews that not currently recommended." We knew that Yelp plays the games with the customers reviews - 20 out of 28 reviews left by our clients - are located in the said folder. The worse is that you cannot delete your listing from the fishy site. Once you list your business there - it is for LIFETIME. If you are a new business, go on Google - reputable, trustworthy and fair. If you stock with Yelp.com you will be constantly blackmailed - what they care about is just money they try to make in dishonest way.

Yelp ruined all the reviews my husband worked so hard to get. He spent years building his business and pays $500 a month for advertisement help, yelp is absolutely awful, they kept only a few bad reviews and hide all his great reviews. I hate that people pay so much and all they do is filter the hard earned reviews. Yelp you should consider your so called algorithm and look at what you doing with peoples businesses that worked hard to earn reviews they DESERVE! Yet you leave the bad reviews of people that hardly use yelp? Makes no sense.

Yelp is biased & a scam. I am a small business owner & if you don't advertise with Yelp, they will not post your good reviews, only the bad! Our bad reviews are posted by people with few posts or many, it doesn't matter. But when I reach out to our satisfied clients to ask for a review, and they comply, YELP WILL NOT POST THE POSITIVE. I know this, because I get an email from Yelp stating I just received a five star review, I go to reply back to client, only to find their review is NOT POSTED PUBLICALLY! When I contact Yelp, they say 'well the reviewer isn't active on Yelp so that's why their review isn't posted'. Right there is a lie because some of my clients are avid reviewers whereas the negative reviews, that reviewer may have only 2 posts! Within the same time period, I had positive feedback from many of my clients, those that chose to review us on Google were posted, but the few that used Yelp did not get posted. If you want to know the truth about a company's credibility go the Better Business Bureau & check their rating. Google is the only legitimate way to review a business and even through the Better Business Bureau. Just check our A+ Rating
