This horrible company will make you buy all kinds of things, have you build a solid reputation, then will have the nerve to ban you because someone loses and reports you for inappropriate behavior. When you challenge it they give you no reasoning, proof, or explanation. There is no way to contact anyone, they simply hide behind their keyboards. I would like a full refund of all money spent, and an apology. I think their practice is pathetic. Choose PlayStation over these clowns if you are going to game online unless you like losing everything you have worked for with no explanation.
Xbox live has become trash over the past years. Nothing like it use to be back in the early days of 2005-2012. Games are trash and the weak ban happy environment. Now you have to pay at least $15 a month, when back on the day $60 got you a year. They forgot their roots and such $#*! now because of it. Switching to PC or PSN. F#ck xbox and Xbox live.
Cant ring them direct to speak to a person, no appeals allowed for certain things and dont respond to emails either. Complete waste of your time. Buy a playstation instead and save yourself a lot of hassle.
It is absent minded that I have to pay for Xbox live and some whimp can't handle language reports me I get a suspension I deserve my money back or just take it out! Straight stealing money they can block or leave party.
I got a Xbox one X.
It was really expensive and I bought it in Australia. It stopped working a couple months in but I had moved back to Canada. Anyways apparently the software is different so it crashed. I tried to get them to repair but Canada refused and said you have to ship back to Australia to get help. So yeah $650 console that does not work well. Forced to have to go to a repair man myself. Still gets the black screen.
Don't buy it. You can run into the issue of canceling the recurring payments but they will just charge you anyway. Kicker is, they don't allow a refund and no opportunity to talk to a real person. All automated with no option to refute charges. Save yourself the time and stay away from it.
No its not worth it. You say anything in a message or in an online chat that can be considered offensive to the far left crowd its a ban sometimes its 7 days sometimes it a perm ban and they ban the console too.

They suspend people for calling out cheaters but not the cheaters themselves. Theft by deception. You pay to use online live but then 5hey take it off you and give you no proof as to what you did wrong. They let pedophiles send kids sexual messages but if you call them out you will get suspended. It's not a fair system.
Xbox live has gotten ridiculous. I was permanently banned for harassment abuse or bulling through text or voice message. Incident was for 5:42pm est on Feb. 25th. 1 I wasn't even home or on my Xbox account 2 I was on a ban already how could I send text or voice to anyone when I can't add or send anything due to ban?
They stole my account. I've never been banned. And they are charging me services not received. We are contacting lawyers today. 4/25/2020 anyone having issues please feel free to hop in on lawsuit. Microsoft is trash. I hope they go under and every employee loses their job.
My son got an Xbox game system for his birthday. We have been trying for 48 hours to secure live gaming capabilities for him. It has been a nightmare. The system sends you back in forth, chasing our own tail, with activation codes and confirmation requests, all to no ultimate end. The people on the customer support line are no help at all. They only add to the frustration. They talk back at you without listening and without offering any real help. Two days in and I'm ready to throw the whole thing out the window. It should not be this hard to spend money and contribute to the profitability of Microsoft -- but they make it that way. Ugh.
I had Xbox ultimate on a monthly basis with no problem until 3/6. My card was charged and payment went through and they got their money. Tried playing some of the games on Xbox game pass and could not. Tried to get help, support chat just goes in circles or has you work with expert gamers. Finally got into a chat with a actual employee and was told can't help due to technical issues. Over it at this point. Cancelled my subscription, keep the money, just don't charge me again.
My son made an account and was banned or it got hacked into. Soon after he was unable to log back in. Fast forward they are charging me from this account. I'm trying to get assistance and they keep sending me of saying log into the account yet they the ones banned him. NO LIVE PERSON! WTF! REALLY WISH I COULD RETURN THIS WHOLE SYSTEM. I. Have never had nor do I own an xbox but somehow my credit card information was used by a criminal to sign up for Xbox live and spotify. I noticed the charges and called both companies to stop the fraudulent charges spotify ended the charges immediately but Xbox/microsoft corporation refused to do anything about the fraudulent charges. I am now on my 6th month in a row of changing my credit card number and I have contacted customer support at Xbox live numerous times yet somehow the fraudulent charges keep coming back. My credit card company has sent microsoft numerous notices about the fraud but nothing happens just a new charge every month that I have to dispute. Do not use xbox live they allow criminal behavior and refuse to help the victims of fraud
I pay $10 a month for Xbox live gold I will no longer be paying $10 a month because the main reason I pay for it is because there's usually one out of the three games in games with gold that I can play on the Xbox 360 however lately you've been posting games for the Xbox which I guess work on Xbox one but I don't have a Xbox hard drive I just have the Xbox 360 and I'm not paying $10 a month every month for games I can't even play I got a flash drive I don't need your $#*!ing cloud
Xbox live is a terrible waste of money and it doesn't work well. It's constantly "disconnecting from Xbox live" for no reason, sometimes takes 5 minutes to get it reconnected and my son's shows back up. It's a massive inconvenience, shouldn't have to pay money to use the internet on a gaming console either, it's nothing more than a greedy company who wants to get money on a monthly basis for a useless product.
I get called "$#*!" and a bunch of racial slurs on Xbox and those people are still able to communicate, I call someone a $#*! for being a $#*! and I'm suspended. So the fact that "$#*!" is taken action upon and not "$#*!" imma switch to PlayStation. Trash. I even have audio of some men calling me "$#*!" and nothing was done. $#*!.
They charge my account for months and no one responds back to you. I finally got a hold of them and they told me they only can give me back 2 months. Fraud people... this is abuse. Its a pitty with all these bad reviews nothing is done.
Bought an Xbox 1 x recently after my ps4 $#*! the bed only to find out I'd be wasting so much money on headsets that work for a day and control's that barely function. I shouldn't have to spend 200+dollars on the console when it hardly works. As for the tech support its a $#*!ing joke. They leave you on hold for ever and when they answer they hang up.
