I have been an xbox live user for 4 years now, i've never encountered a problem when creating my account, i switched to xbox 360 to xbox one 1 year ago and i've paid for the xbox gold membership yearly and i want to say that it's worth it, i pay 50$ and i get my money back simply by obtaining the free monthly games, such great examples i can remember are: Assassin's Creed -Chronicles (All) -Black Flag -Revelations -3 -Unity-Syndicate/ For Honour / Forza Horizon 2/Far cry 3/Sniper Elite V2/Bioshock Infinite/Mafia 2/GOW3/Battlefield 3/Dead space 2/Metal Gear Solid 2/Battlefield 1 etc. I see the online membership as a good thing because you won't have to deal with toddlers on a ranked match that can down your rank you worked all the week or anything like that! :)

I had Xbox ultimate on a monthly basis with no problem until 3/6. My card was charged and payment went through and they got their money. Tried playing some of the games on Xbox game pass and could not. Tried to get help, support chat just goes in circles or has you work with expert gamers. Finally got into a chat with a actual employee and was told can't help due to technical issues. Over it at this point. Cancelled my subscription, keep the money, just don't charge me again.

My son made an account and was banned or it got hacked into. Soon after he was unable to log back in. Fast forward they are charging me from this account. I'm trying to get assistance and they keep sending me of saying log into the account yet they the ones banned him. NO LIVE PERSON! WTF! REALLY WISH I COULD RETURN THIS WHOLE SYSTEM. SICK OF BEING TREATED UNFAIRLY. CHARGING MY CARD AMD I CANT REMOVE IT BECAUSE I CANT GET INTO THE ACCOUNT.

I pay $10 a month for Xbox live gold I will no longer be paying $10 a month because the main reason I pay for it is because there's usually one out of the three games in games with gold that I can play on the Xbox 360 however lately you've been posting games for the Xbox which I guess work on Xbox one but I don't have a Xbox hard drive I just have the Xbox 360 and I'm not paying $10 a month every month for games I can't even play I got a flash drive I don't need your $#*!ing cloud

Just go get a Play station

I got a Xbox one X.
It was really expensive and I bought it in Australia. It stopped working a couple months in but I had moved back to Canada. Anyways apparently the software is different so it crashed. I tried to get them to repair but Canada refused and said you have to ship back to Australia to get help. So yeah $650 console that does not work well. Forced to have to go to a repair man myself. Still gets the black screen.

Xbox live is a $#*!ing joke. Xbox have locked me out of my account not letting me use my username and password to sign in. Even using forgot my password it won't let me sign in. And STOP USING ROBOT VERIFICATION. The letters are impossible to copy and it says it is wrong 99% of the time. Also every time I try to use the audio, it automatically force quits the sign in and i have to restart EVERYTHING all over again. I would not recommend buying Xbox at all.

Xbox live has become trash over the past years. Nothing like it use to be back in the early days of 2005-2012. Games are trash and the weak ban happy environment. Now you have to pay at least $15 a month, when back on the day $60 got you a year. They forgot their roots and such $#*! now because of it. Switching to PC or PSN. F#ck xbox and Xbox live.

Cant ring them direct to speak to a person, no appeals allowed for certain things and dont respond to emails either. Complete waste of your time. Buy a playstation instead and save yourself a lot of hassle.

No its not worth it. You say anything in a message or in an online chat that can be considered offensive to the far left crowd its a ban sometimes its 7 days sometimes it a perm ban and they ban the console too.

A friend of mine literally got banned for sending a 1 word message that said ''Noob''

Then they take your money and don't provide you with the service.

They claim what you do is against their TOS but they keep their TOS extremely vague so they can get away with it

If you want to spend your money on this you would be better off taking and ripping up your money and throwing it in the fireplace

This horrible company will make you buy all kinds of things, have you build a solid reputation, then will have the nerve to ban you because someone loses and reports you for inappropriate behavior. When you challenge it they give you no reasoning, proof, or explanation. There is no way to contact anyone, they simply hide behind their keyboards. I would like a full refund of all money spent, and an apology. I think their practice is pathetic. Choose PlayStation over these clowns if you are going to game online unless you like losing everything you have worked for with no explanation.

It is absent minded that I have to pay for Xbox live and some whimp can't handle language reports me I get a suspension I deserve my money back or just take it out! Straight stealing money they can block or leave party.

They stole my account. I've never been banned. And they are charging me services not received. We are contacting lawyers today. 4/25/2020 anyone having issues please feel free to hop in on lawsuit. Microsoft is trash. I hope they go under and every employee loses their job.

HOW AWFUL of a support system. My reoccurring billing payments were removed (THAT WAS A PROCESS IN ITSELF SADLY), and suddenly my membership was suspended. This is a VERY money grubby company, they make it VERY DIFFICULT to remove your payment methods. Its disgusting how much effort is required, to simply modify or remove existing reoccurring payment methods, SIMPLY because they do NOT want you to remove your information on file. Absolutely absurd and very unethical.

They suspend people for calling out cheaters but not the cheaters themselves. Theft by deception. You pay to use online live but then 5hey take it off you and give you no proof as to what you did wrong. They let pedophiles send kids sexual messages but if you call them out you will get suspended. It's not a fair system.

Xbox live has gotten ridiculous. I was permanently banned for harassment abuse or bulling through text or voice message. Incident was for 5:42pm est on Feb. 25th. 1 I wasn't even home or on my Xbox account 2 I was on a ban already how could I send text or voice to anyone when I can't add or send anything due to ban?

Don't buy it. You can run into the issue of canceling the recurring payments but they will just charge you anyway. Kicker is, they don't allow a refund and no opportunity to talk to a real person. All automated with no option to refute charges. Save yourself the time and stay away from it.

I'm going to give my honest opinion of Xbox live I used to love Xbox live now I extremely dislike them I spend numerous money buying games downloading games with them game passes memberships every month I've done this for 15 years with them and then all of a sudden they kept sending me emails talking about my account was banned how can you keep abandon somebody's account it is ridiculous people online send a message about you and then all of a sudden that band your account it don't matter how much money that you spend with them or how much of a dedicated customer you are they're simply do not care I started my first the plane against them are fighting back cuz I'm so sick of this I didn't put in well over $1,000 buying Xbox live products and the only thing they do is when someone just don't like you they'll send a message over the Xbox and then Xbox will simply abandon your account it's hard to get through customer service and then sometime you have to go through weeks to get your account back well guess what you can keep that cuz I think Xbox live is really just scamming people so you going to ban somebody account and then keep all the money that they put inside and can't get it back and then go back and forth with emails until you figure out if you want to respond or not that's ridiculous like I said I already started making my first compliant and I think other people who've been through the same situation I am should join me in on the class action lawsuit against Microsoft

I would think after being a valuable customer after 15 years that you'll be treated with dignity and loyalty

I was in Sea of Thieves, playing with my friends having a good time. Then all of a sudden, I was abruptly disconnected from the server and received a message that Sea of Thieves services were temporarily unavailable. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning of my nightmare.

Xbox live will not let me sign in with my Microsoft account. I keep getting prompted to sign in no matter how many times I attempt to sign in. I have tried to troubleshoot this and I even tried removing my Microsoft account and re-adding it. I tried making a new Microsoft account. I've changed my password. I verified my game files on Steam. Nothing works.

I have now lost hours of valuable game time with my friends simply because I am unable to login to my Microsoft account with Xbox Live.

To anyone in this company with the power to change this, you really need to get your priorities straight. Help people be able to use your services easily and hassle free. Logging into Xbox-Live should not be a nightmare that takes me days to troubleshoot.

Next time you decide to delete game packs from campaigns I'm on maybe let me decide inside of deleting it for me!

Now I've got to sit here and wait for it to redownload again... FU

Provide a phone number instead of a texting bot. And stop decided what to delete for me!

Screw this company they charge you account early and tell you that you can cancelled your subs into on and wait till the billing date u want to deactivate it u mean to tell me that when Microsoft messes up they don't do anything to help the customers they are awful only want your money I got hung up on because I said it wasn't fair to take money from people a week early n you have to loose out on playing Xbox for a whole week cuz it's there fault like really what is wrong with people this company should be shut down with how many people screw u over make Xbox live free bout to go to PlayStation I'm so done with this company your customer service is crap literally crap I hope you enjoy my week of free money u got off my Xbox live u scum bags I was charged on the 4 th of June when wasn't supposed to be till late on the 10th so screw this company they don't care about customers they care about money n they hung up on me how good is your customer service really if they hang up on people who are treated poorly
