I tried making a reservation and after waiting a few minutes I got a notification that the reservation didn't go through and I had to try again later. I ended up going through a different website only to find out later that it DID go through. So now I had two reservations for the same flight. I called customer service to ask for help or to see if they could at could switch the name to someone else who would be traveling with me. The 30 second conversation consisted of a man telling me that I "know full well" that I can't cancel or change my ticket. I am normally very patient and nice on the phone because I believe you catch more flies with honey. But this man didn't even consider helping remedy the problem his website had caused.
Airline changed flight and date also extended transit time 12 hours to 23 hours. Now I can't flight with this time with kids long transit. They are not offering my availability flights. Even they are not refunding full amount.
The prices were cheaper than any other website thank you

I booked a trip through sky scanner, with explore trip as the agency.
2 weeks before my flight, I got a call from explore trip saying that my flight had been rescheduled by the airline, and that to change to an earlier flight I would have to pay a fee of $125 USD.
The man on the phone could barely speak English or explain what was going on.
Any questions I asked him he could not comprehend.
I asked him if rescheduled changes should not be covered by the airline or the booking agency (as I have had rescheduled/cancelled flights in the past and this has always been the case).
All he could say is "no", and ushered me to "pay the fee before the prices go up".
Confused, and unable to get any clarity from the guy on the phone. I called the airline directly the next day to see what was happening.
They were equally as confused and said that they NEVER charge for rescheduled flights or cancellations, and that all of the fee was being charged by Explore trip.
My friend who was on the exact same flight, booked through another agency but got his flight changed free of charge.
Long story short, after finding this out I called Explore trip to explain that the airline would change my flight directly for free, only to be told that explore trip have the ownership of the ticket and wouldn't change it unless I paid their made up, outrageous fee.
Don't book with these scumbags unless you enjoy getting strong armed and milked for money.

I purchased 4 tickets for international travel through a discount website, then decided several hours later to make the purchase through my travel rewards program instead. I thought I had 24 hours to cancel the booking without penalties but learned after speaking with Larry at ExploreTrip that there will be a $75 charge for each ticket ($300 total). Of course I wasn't happy with this, but I realize that Larry is just a guy doing his job. He has to deal with difficult and unhappy customers every single day. What I appreciate (and the reason for my 4 star review of this company) is Larry's willingness to listen and to answer my questions. He explained the company policies and after some back and forth, found a way to reverse my purchase, which thus eliminated the cancellation fees. I don't know if this would have happened regardless of who I spoke to, but I ultimately did have a positive outcome with this company and their employee. They had/have the cheapest airfare compared to all the other companies but the $75 cancellation penalty is a bummer so I docked one star.
Never book from this company.
This company never returned my money when covid hits! I lost $2000 with them. They promised they will do so, but months after months they keep extending and extending. Stay away!
So far 5 stars rating hold. I was able to get a customer service agent on call within 5 min of wait time and he was able to resolve the issue to my satisfaction.
This website does not work. It is so bad I had to change a date to a unsuitable date and then that goes through for me. I am very unhappy.
There's several different prices stated on the purchase page it is very confusing
You offer trip assurance, but when I try and click on it to accept, it doesn't work.
It was really easy to use. Made it pleasant. Showed me the best deals I could get.
Finding the flights is somewhat convoluted, but I'm happy with the prices. Couldn't check off the travel insurance, but I can get through CAA membership.
This is my second booking with explore trip. So far the experience has been pleasant.
Answer: This site is a sham,. They lie, and will not resolve any issues you have.
