In a marketing gimmick we were told we had won $500 for just considering a water treatment system. No details on the $500. And then when we tried to collect, no replies to queries.
Bought a 1 year membership 11/24/2023 on the Black Friday special for $21.00, have never been able to print a coupon, always says membership expired. Have contacted member services MANY TIMES always get run around with no help. They refuse to give me a refund. They have no phone #, Perhaps a letter to Attorneys General office will help with their scam.
While I can access my account online ok, the app won't recognize my credentials. The whole layout of the website is very basic and yet outdated, as well as not intuitive. While in my account at home on my computer, I clicked on the mobile-view version of the coupon to see the details of it for a store I needed to go to the next day. When I clicked out of it the coupon, it prompted the coupon to show as redeemed on my account. Anywho, not too jazzed about not being able to access the app nor the online layout and way it is organized. The used coupon issue was the icing on the cake.:-((((
T-Mobile connected me to this site as a weekly customer "Thank You". Tried using a coupon that said I had to show my screen. I am not going to the pizza parlour on a Friday night to wait. Called the store and they seemed generally confused and unhelpful. Just one of another coupon site that offers garbage. Steer clear!
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the recent incident I experienced while attempting to use one of your digital coupons at Jack in the Box. This incident has left me feeling upset, embarrassed, and questioning the legitimacy of the Entertainment Coupon Club.
As a loyal member for over five years, I have always appreciated the savings and benefits your club offers. However, yesterday's encounter at Jack in the Box has shaken my confidence in your service. The manager at the restaurant claimed they had never done any business with the Entertainment Coupon Club and accused me of attempting fraud. This not only left me feeling ill but also caused immense embarrassment in front of other customers.
Upon returning home, I immediately attempted to contact the Entertainment Coupon Club to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, I discovered that there is no phone number available to speak with a representative or the corporate office. This lack of direct communication raises concerns about the transparency and credibility of the club.
At this point, I can only conclude that the Entertainment Coupon Club may be issuing fraudulent coupons, as Jack in the Box alleged. However, I am still hopeful that someone from your team will reach out to me to address this matter and provide evidence to prove the club's innocence. If this can be done successfully, I would gladly reconsider renewing my membership.
Until then, I feel compelled to warn others against purchasing an Entertainment Coupon Club membership. The absence of live customer support and corporate contact information, coupled with the incident at Jack in the Box, make it difficult for me to recommend your club to anyone.
I sincerely hope that someone from the Entertainment Coupon Club will reach out to me promptly to address this issue and restore my faith in the club. I believe it is essential for you to clear your name and reputation by providing a satisfactory explanation and resolution.
This company has turned to a scam tactic of making it impossible to cancel the membership. They billed my card AGAIN this year now for $25 for a membership I have been trying to cancel since last year. The only way to contact them is through a webpage request that leaves you no proof you have ever submitted anything. Nobody ever reaches back. When I sign into my account it says "no active subscription" on file. Then how is that I am billed every year? I just got a reimbursement from my Amex card and they blocked them! They cannot charge my card anymore thank goodness!
Super easy to sign up for, then you quickly start to realize the deals aren't that great and they're for places you never heard of or would ever shop or eat. When you go to cancel, you'll discover there's no clear way to do so. After some google searching you might find their cancelation page. The way it works is you enter your email, and they send you a link to login to your account. Then you'll find the membership management. When you go to click cancel the cancel button doesn't work because the cancel button is just a fake button with a javascript:void(0); function attached (does nothing). Complete scam and I guess I'll have to cancel my credit card just to get rid of them.
I bought a book for the Huntington WV area and would give this a 'zero' if I could. The hardback version slowly became smaller and smaller over the years but there were a few coupons I was able to use and usually saved at least the cost of the book. However, the digital version of the Entertainment books suck royally: 1) The number of coupons are now very limited for my area. 2) It is not easy to do a quick scan of merchants now. 3) The coupons now expire within one or two days of access instead of at the end of the year. 4) According to Entertainment, I had already printed one of my $8 coupons to a local pho restaurant but that is not true. 5) There is no phone number to call for customer service. 6) Your credit card is automatically set up for auto-renewal and you have to figure out how to contact them to cancel, as there are a number of complaints from customers who say they continue to be billed after cancelling. I sent them a note, through their feedback ported, in March 2022, telling them not to charge my credit card anymore. Now, in 2023, I'm billed again...NIGHTMARE! Do NOT purchase this. It's a scam!
A friend gave me a printed Entertainment coupon book last Christmas (2021) and it had a lot of very useful coupons. I wanted another one for this year but they don't print it any longer. You have to sign up and use the digital version app on your phone. I thought, okay, that's more convenient than looking through the book and cutting out the paper coupons. So I signed up for the free 1 month trial and chose the $24.99 annual fee for at the end of the trial period. Within hours, after looking through the app and realizing that there was absolutely nothing on the app that I would use, I attempted to cancel the free trial and reject the annual membership. There was NO WAY to contact them. I googled the phone number, I went into there website on my computer to try to cancel and I finally found a "cancel membership" link. Guess what? It didn't work. It asked you for a membership number and more information that wasn't provided when you signed up for the app. I tried to find my membership number by activating the membership but it wouldn't even activate the membership. I tried contacting them through the confirmation email that I received after signing up. I tried to contact them via their contact us page on the website. Neither worked as I just got charged the $24.99. I disputed this through my bank. Unfortunately, unless I cancel my card and get a new one, I will have to deal with disputing this again next year. This new digital platform is a complete scam. Do not sign up for it.
The app 's discounts are more like 25% off. Very few BOGO in app. If you do get a BOGO the 2nd item usually has a dollar limit so you end up paying for whatever it is over the limit. Definitely not adjusted for inflation. Most are at or bellow $9.00. Not to mention a few businesses did not honor sonI let them know and those businesses are STILL in the new book / app. Use to be a great deal but you can get same discounts through Groupon and better discounts. I have been using the service when it use to be a fundraiser also.
They charge me $27 for nothing and refused to refund, they did not care about customer at all, service is really bad, avoid it!
This is a very good platform to improve your business based on entertainment programs and stuff including videos
Good luck finding enough deals to even break even on the subscription. They renew 2 months before it ends so you won't be able to cancel timely. They offer no phone number for problems. The app is a ripoff to me.
As in the title, NO good coupons at least for the Denver area! I purchased the book and app during a $5 sale and I just wasted $5! There is NOTHING useful! Only far away business that are on their last leg and offering mediocre coupons at best. I called to get a refund (yes for the $5 out of principle) and the company refused. They claimed their app is where it's at. But it isn't, there is nothing there! Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY and DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Don't waste your money on their scam. I should have read other reviews before my purchase. They do not notify you that your auto renewal is upcoming then if you want to cancel they say no you already renewed. Scammers. Savings suck also.
This book is garbage now very few coupons in my area when you buy a online book they will automatically bill you without your knowledge, it's impossible to find out how to contact them.
Hi! This is my first comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and say I genuinely enjoy reading your blog posts. Can you recommend any other Beauty Guest Post blogs that go over the same topics? Thanks a ton!
Ordered 2020 book in January of 2020. At time, I agreed to annual subscription. Little did I know they would be issuing the 2021 book a mere 6 months later. I only get 6 months of use of my book and they send me another one at full price! I cancelled my membership, but they appear to be going to send the 2021 edition anyway with 6 months left in 2020! At this rate, they would be issuing the 2022 book in January, 2021. VERY SHADY. I will be refusing shipment that was sent after I cancelled.
DO NOT CONSIDER ANY KIND OF AUTOMATIC SUBSCRIPTION. WAIT UNTIL THEY FIRE SALE THEM FOR $5 WITH FREE SHIPPING. THAT ALONE CHEAPENS THE PRODUCT AND SEEMS TO BE AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE CHEAPNESS ON THEIR PART.
Answer: Cancel immediately, send an email and make sure you get a response, otherwise keep sending emails until they do.
Answer: Cancel immediately or they will bill you without you knowing and they will not refund the money!
Answer: Can you please answer my questions from Patricia Saunders. What info do you need to cancel auto renewal?
