I purchased a book in March for $11 and was extremely dissatisfied. Barely any coupons to use locally, most I have to travel an hour or more away. I've only used one since I got it, and the restaurant didn't want to take it, said they didn't know or agree to be in the book. But they accepted it anyway. Last week, after only four months, Entertainment emailed me that my new book for $30 shipped! I contacted them, told them I didn't place this order and wanted a refund. They claim I agreed to this "ANNUAL" Renewal during my purchase in March, which I did not. Like everyone else, I didn't receive the email prior to them placing the order that they are required to send. They lied, said they couldn't issue a refund because it had shipped, when it didn't ship until two days later. I've asked for proof of everything (ie; my agreement to this purchase, the email they claim was sent, proof of shipping etc) multiple times, my requests have been denied due to one excuse or another. They've been consistently rude, condescending and blatantly dishonest. To the point that after only 1-day of dealing with them, I went right then and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Which of course they still have not responded to a week later. Some interesting stuff on BBB too, and they outright told me to file a complaint with my States Attorney General! I have the new book now, which they said I have to return using their label at $7.95, when it costs less than $3 to ship! So $4.95 profit they're making on that to ensure they make money off you one way or another. I told them I won't do it, I will return as refused delivery because I didn't want it and I didn't order it. They told me it will delay my refund and their shipping fee still applies. I told them they cannot legally force me to use their shipping label, or hold my refund hostage because I refuse to pay for the label. And if they attempt to charge my card again when I already asked them to remove it and have flat out stated they're not authorized, I will contact the authorities. They've done nothing but try to rip me off and now bully me! I'll be filing another complaint with my States Attorney General, as well as the FTC. They keep pulling the exact same scam, have been for years and are getting away with it. It's disgusting and they're complete FRAUDS!
