I signed up with this 1 or 2 years ago and found out it was a scam. I told my credit card and I received my $ back. My credit card blocked the name. I cut up my card. 1 or 2 years later I found another charge on my credit card under wrap match (same phone # but another name). I haven't used my card in over 1 year and I cut it up a year ago. I'm disputing the charge again and this time my credit card said they would send me a new card with a different account #. Bad people. Always look at your credit card statements even if you haven't used it in a year.
They are a scam. The website sent to the person who text the number, does not exist. Try acting like a person who saw this, and called in..
Philippines company wanted $20 for me to set up a car decal on my car to make $300+ every month plus commissions. Their website www.caradvertising.com does not come up and they wanted me to advertise "ZAP Satellite TV" which does not have a number to call or legitimate website.
I saw this on Facebook, I called, but was hesitant. I said I didn't get paid again for 2 weeks, and I would call them back. I didn't give them any banking information, I came here, and low and behold, as I thought... a scam.
Never received any compensation, What a Joke! They from the first conversation promised things that never happened!
I saw the ad on facebook. I checked them out thoroughly, or so I thought. They hide under another name: Advertiseonmycar. I wish I had known that they were really Wrapmatch in disguise! It would have saved me money that was wasted. Unfortunately, I didn't make the connection until I received my decal and put it on and registered it. As soon as I found out I removed the decal. Reason I had a very sleepless night! I figured if it was a scam, then by driving with the decal, I would be promoting the scam, and others would get scammed either by signing up for a possible fake service, others might trust me and sign up to advertise it, and be scammed as well, also their could be repercussions from the satellite companies for tarnishing their names, a people who were scammed who knew me or my car or my plate could take legal action also, and most importantly maybe arrest. Was glad I did not let anyone see the decal. Know in my heart I made correct decision. Reading these reviews only verifies it. Cancelled my two cards so they can't keep charging. Sent email asking to cancel, with polite exclamation. Best to just do that. Lesson learned don't work for any online side hustles!
I got there $#*! they have tried that bs on me last yr and this yr I got there $#*!. First time they called me they said they will pay me 450$ weekly to put the decal on my vehicle. I said ok cool they sent me a check for 1850$ and told me to deposit it into my bank account I called the bank on there check to verify it was real. Turned out check was fraud so I went and cashed it at a lil spot hole in the wall place and paid them 100$ off that fake check and kept 1750$. They called me and I said yeah I cashed the check not at my bank and I'm keeping the cash til yoi send the decal specialist to me to put decals on my car then I pay him the money. They said that I have to pay first than he comes I said that's not how the world works ppl do there job first before they get paid for it. Ty for the free money and keep your fake $#*! checks I'm not sticking that in my account to get $#*!ed off lol. They was pissed that I wouldn't send them money lmao. I said you have my address come get it. Yes I know it's illegal to cash fraud checks but the place I cashed it at is hole in the wall and is doing stuff they shouldn't they are not going to police and I have beef with them so I took advantage of a opportunity to kill two birds one stone with there bs on that hole in the wall place lol that's how ya play these dummies lol
They said they hired me, they said they sent my 1st paycheck for 2 weeks in advance plus the installation of the car wrap's fee. $4,900.00 Told me to deposit check then next day withdraw the $4000 and send to wrap installer. Check is fraudulent. I would have had to repay the full amount after having sent $4000 to installer who is also in on this scam. Thank God my bank called to verify check before accepting for deposit.
I paid money for the ad and the rep from the company www.wrapmatch.com simply misled me. They took money and told me to wait. After that I got the bill, which I needed to pay within 2 weeks or I wouldnt get anything from them. I paid for the bill and again heard some fake promise.
These people are true embodiment of a garbage website, third world support and even worse, a con artist.
Can these people get any lower? Probably, considering they take right after Enron.
The company is so bad, I would rather share a jail cell with Jerry Sandusky than buy from these people.
I spoke with a customer service representative named Kaylynn. She spoke as though she was from the US. In the beginning she seemed nice and helpful. She told me that I would only have to pay $20 to join the business and that I would get a $10 credit to my account. I asked her several times "is this a one time payment?" she said that I would be charged $15 annually to cover decal costs and that's it. She also said that if I don't make any money within 90 days I would be sent a $100 gift card of my choosing. I asked if Wal-mart was an option and she said yes. 90 days later (after not making a cent) I asked about the $100 gift card. They claimed that they were out of stock. After almost another two months of calling and emailing with no response they FINALLY responded. BUT, they sent me some stupid link that took me to Restaurants.com. They claim that that is your $100 gift but you actually don't get a gift at all. For instance, in order to get a $15 gift card you have to pay $10 out of your own pocket. On top of that, in order to use the $15 gift card, your bill has to be $30 or more. So, basically there is no gift. She also told me that I owed them money. She said she tried to take money out of my bank account for a fee I owed. Thank god I changed my info before that happened. I told her that I didn't owe anything and reminded her of all the info she gave me before I signed up. She said I "misunderstood". No I didn't. They are liars and thieves. Please do NOT waste your time or money.
Never make any cent with them I lost over 100 dlls with them and they keep taking money from my debit card I call them too many times they don't asnwer the phone then I call from another number they answer then I tell them who I'm and they put me on hold again and never answer any calls again
This is a complete scam. I want my money back that I never gave permission to charge to my card. I was lied to and I want my money back. Stop now if your even thinking about trying this. They think people should pay them to advertise for the company they get paid for us doing this. But we get nothing but bounced checks, charges u never said u would ever pay. I want my money back. I'm getting in touch with the FBI Fraud Dept. and the Attorney General for help on getting my money back from this stealing company...
STAY AWAY FROM WRAPMATCH.
This company is a complete scam. They lure you in offering you a $60 gift card for signing up. After you pay the $20 then it turns out they are only giving you a $50 gift card and $10 credit for their website.
Then in order to get paid more than $10 you have to sign up for Premium membership at $19.95 a month. After you receive the campaign they load the first gift card to your account. When I signed up it was close to the holidays, (so they claimed it was taking longer than usual.)
Turns out you only get paid close to $600 if there any referrals from your sticker. After my first month, they loaded a $100 gift card to my account. This time I was able to access the gift card only to find it, it was for restaurant.com. Restaurant.com still requires you to pay additional money at the restaurants.
I did receive my decal. I never heard from Wrapmatch through email after I joined. I finally got through to customer service and was told to go to my account and cash out to get my $100 gift card. Everytime I cash out a pop up says that they are trying to reload gift cards. Do they have to relaod that often that I can't get my money. Sooo I tried to cancel. A pop up said to tey the service a month loner without cost. I did and get charged anyway. I haven't been able to get through to thrm. Have emailed and left messages with no results. I am highly upset because they have set me back to where I am behind on my bills. I am realky upset eith them. I won't recommend them to anyone.
Found this site, signed up and received a call. I figured that it was a scam because their number had my specific area code. I asked were their any upfront cost and she said its just $20. I told her to wait a minute because i am going to do an internet search online to check out the business. She said "oh go ahead, search, we are a business" I asked if they were with the BBB and she responded yes and also the IRS. That told me that this was a scam. How are you WITH the IRS. She said "You can go online and check with the IRS" I asked how can you go to the IRS online and see a listing of businesses? I can tell she was getting frustrated. She then said you can go to the IRS. I said "how does a person go to the IRS?" "Where is the IRS?" She hung up the phone on me.
Glad I did not pay out any money!
Disclaimer: please excuse the many punctuation errors. I am typing fast and very upset.
I signed up to be paid to advertise. They charged me 20$ every month to potentially make money from the decal on my car. On month 3 I decided to text the # on my car because I wasn't making any money. Then I had a friend text it. It didn't work. It wasn't even a working #. So no one could use the service I was advertising for and I couldn't make money, but they could get my 20$ every month. Called 3 times, got disconnected twice and the last time I was talking to an Indian (with the dot) I couldn't understand and vice versa. I emailed them twice and the only thing I got in response was that they couldn't test the number that day because it was a holiday weekend. I replied that I just wanted them to terminate this account. They have still taken money out of my account for 2 more months. Just made a claim with the bank yesterday.
I tried 3 different ads in 5 months never made any money. Wrap match is a scam BS all the way don't fall for it. I will report them to the BBB and FTC
I contacted the bank they will not refund those 2 charges that accrued, they are saying the withdraw amount of $19.99 cause the account to be negative and if it had not accrued the following charger for fuel at the royal farm store would have cleared not causing any negative amounts but because of the $19.99 was withdraw it caused that fuel charge to to get an additional overdraft,,, they said to contact who ever charged the $19.99 to the account is responsible for both of the overdraft fees
I had my account and ad on my car for 3 months. Didn't make one red cent, but they gladly charged me for monthly fees and shipping on the ad. It was next to impossible to cancel my membership. Stay away! I'm $50 poorer now!
Answer: I had it wrapped for 8 months and make nothing from them, I got ticketed by the state police for not carrying a commercial plate, and I am charged by wrapcar for a service fee of $8.95 for no reason. Do not do this.
Answer: Simple, THEY'RE A SCAM!
Answer: Because it's a scam! Don't fall for it. I joined and this and should have really checked them out first. I was lucky, I got my money back. Hope this helps!
