I saw the advertisement on Facebook and thought "why not?". I did come across a "terms of service agreement" that started raising some red flags after I had already given my email address and phone number; there was a section that mentioned that I would be the "buyer". I was also unable to get through on the phone so I opted for them to call me back. When the representative called and I could hear everyone else talking in the background (from the large call center) another red flag was raised. She spieled off how much money that I could make and how I would get some great gifts by signing up. She even had me go through the advertisers and pick the "campaign" that I wanted. Then she dropped the bomb, my initial start up cost. I told her that I needed to check with my husband who happened to be home. My husband told me to review them first and I ended up here (but not before I told her to call me back later today). It looks like I was saved by my husband.
Im usually the type that likes to find things out for myself. Well i found the hard way that these people are scam. They charge your card and never send the decal. You can never reach customer service but they're are eager to speak to you when you initially want to learn about the company. Save yourself the time and headache and avoid wrapmatch. Piece of crap company!
I called and was told a one time $20 fee. Sounded good. So she set up my stuff said she'd call back in an hour. Never heard back and couldn't call them. She didn't tell me it was non refundable until after I paid her. Now I look at my bill and it was charged another 14$ that says recurring bill. She never said I'd pay anything else. Calling to day to fix this. I have yet to receive my decal that said was in the mail already.
I FELL FOR THIS AND IT IS A SCAM! I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM THEM OTHER THAN A DEBIT OF 21.79 RO START AND THEN AFTER I CANCELLED ON 9/14/15 I STILL RECEIVED A DEBIT OF 31.79. I HAVE EMAILE AND SAT ON THE PHONE FOR OVEDDR 30 MINUTES WAITING. EVERY TIME I CALL IT IS A RECORDING STATING UNUSUALLY HIGH CALL VOLUMNS. WELL OF COURSE, BECAUSE YOU KEEP SCREWING PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY THAT THEY WANT BACK! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM LIKE I DID!
Don't fall for it, they play it slick, once they told me about a payment and that girls accent I figerd it's a scam and once I told her she sound like a scam she hang up. I feel sorry for ppl who fall for this Big scam
I am still in disbelief about the way I was just treated by the rep. She was very difficult to understand due to the fast paced + accent + loud & aggressive tone (as if she was trying to fast talk me into not asking any questions) I have a feeling that company will be in the news or Clark Howard really soon. I was under the impression that I would be getting $60 just for calling as advertised, but it's actually a $50 Restaurant.com e card & $10 put in your "account" AFTER reg fee of $30, or she actually said "if you can't afford just $30, you can still reg for at least $20. I would rather them just keep the $60 "sign on bonus". Then I could tell she tried to cover the receiver because of the scratching noise & then I heard her moaning... weird, so I did us both a favor & hung up.
This is my second review of WrapMatch. They don't exist in the United States. This is an offshore scam intended to get your credit card information and charge to it repeatedly. I sent mail to the address in Orem, Utah. It is a bad address. I contacted two businesses immediately adjacent to this address and they've never heard of this company. If they charged your credit card and you didn't receive anything, dispute the charge with your credit card company so you can get your money back. BBB has rated them an 'F' and cannot locate them anywhere. The contact information for them on SiteJabber is incorrect too. Only the phone number rings into their offshore call center. The address is bogus. This whole deal is bogus. I can't even locate any of those who claim to have had a good and profitable experience.
Don't waste your time or money, wrapmatch do not tell u that they will bill you 19.99 every month. They advertise it as a one time payment, but read the fine print people, not to mention I ordered two decals and only received one. Total scam. DON'T DO IT!
I have been with wrapmatch for a month and have already earned almost $500. I am very satisfied with this company and the opportunity they provide.
I received multiple calls from them, after doing some research I changed my mind and asked to be removed from their calling list. The person told me they would call me back later to try again. I told them to remove my number. They hung up on me.
I called back. They answered and i told them that I needed my number removed from the list. I was immediately hung up on again. This happened 3 more times until I got back to the same rep I started with that asked me if I chagned my mind. I asked for a verbal confirmation from them that they will no longer call me again. They refused again. I told them if they call again I will report to FCC-- Hung up again. Called back again to be SURE they heard. I made it clear that they are to cease and desist contact and I will be reporting them to the FCC for any further contact that is attempted and will be filing a complaint with the BBB. They said if i change my mind to call back.
I gave them a shot, and it didn't come through. I don't get paid until I earn commission. They is no base pay out every month... Disappointment
Took my money didn't even get my decal sign I cancel still took my money, we can't do refund what I went off! Scam
I got real cautious when they said I'd get $60 right away as a gift card and 10 cash. As soon as I said I'd check them out the FOREIGHER (I suspect a philiping scammer) then she hung up!.
I am not a WrapMatch employee, but I work right next door their Provo Utah office (that's right, they are not in the Philippines or India lol) Some of the complaints I read here are hilarious. I spoke with one of the owners a few times and I can assure you he is an honest guy. Things may not be perfect with the company. They do outsource overseas, (that's why you sometimes get Philippinos to call you) but it's a US based company and the owner tries everyday to run the business in an ethical and honest manner. Sorry some of you guys had a bad experience, but this company is legit. I just looked them up today online and ran into this site and had to comment. Have a good day.
I told her I couldn't pay the $20 and she hung up on me lol
Please don't do it no matter how good and easy they make it sound. FRAUD!
I don't know how the experience would've been like if I had went through with it. So It's a little unfair to rate them without having tried them out but red flags went up when I answered the phone on the fifth day and the lady on the phone started making a sales pitch about how the company is number one when I had never heard of them before I saw an ad on a car five days prior. Also when I received emails from them offering $20 and then $35 just to call them saying they really need my car. Anyway the lady told me that the membership fee ("membership fees" I thought to myself) is usually $100 but she'll give it to me for just $20 lifetime, but I'd receive a gift card for $60 and $10 cash rebate. Then asked will I be using Visa or Mastercard. I told her that I was uncomfortable giving my credit card number over the phone and if I could pay it online since I signed up online already. She said she understands but I could only do it with her over the phone and they have some kind of encryption blah blah blah. I said then I'll call her back since I have the number and that I didn't think I'd have to pay to have my car available for advertisements. Then I decided to look them up online for reviews and found this site. I don't know why I didn't do that before I signed up using my email and phone number. They just seemed too legit that I didn't bother to check them out. Anyway I used an unimportant google email address and a google number.
This is the biggest scam online. You don't get a receipt or a link to open your profile and they took $ 60 out of my account. Customer Service is a joke. They are foreigners the do not answer your questions and put you on hold for 20 minutes only to hang up. BEWARE!
Wrapmatch gave me a rebate to sign up (which I took because I was a little hesitant to start) and I got a match with Dish Network TV. I don't use them personally but know they are a big company so I felt comfortable. I liked my campaign, I'm not rich but I've made money unlike some of the other people who have complained about the company with out even using them. Not sure how that is ok, but whatever. I like them!
So wrap match called me this morning after it caught my attention through a Facebook ad this morning. The woman who I talked to had a thick foreign accent and that was a red flag for a company that is supposedly located in the US and dealing with US advertising. After listening to her go through her script about how they were going to send me a $50 restaurant gift card and $10 cash she then went on to tell me that I needed to purchase the decal for $20 (how is there funding for $60 worth of perks but not to print and send me a decal?) Red flags EVERYWHERE. Can she get my visa card number? "No! Email me the details so I can look it over" "Ma'am we take care of all of the sign up over the phone" "Maybe you aren't hearing me I'm not giving my credit card info out over the phone send me a link to a secure site" Somewhere in there she hung up... well accidentally placed me on hold because I got hold music and then a click. If they were legitimate they would have had no problem emailing me info. If they were legitimate she wouldn't have been so eager to get to the next call instead of explaining the service to me better and working to convince me of the need for my card info... etc. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!
Answer: I had it wrapped for 8 months and make nothing from them, I got ticketed by the state police for not carrying a commercial plate, and I am charged by wrapcar for a service fee of $8.95 for no reason. Do not do this.
Answer: Simple, THEY'RE A SCAM!
Answer: Because it's a scam! Don't fall for it. I joined and this and should have really checked them out first. I was lucky, I got my money back. Hope this helps!
