There are two types of companies I write reviews about: the ones I love and the ones I hate. Give me an awful experience, and I'm going to talk about it. Give me a great experience, and I'll talk about it even more. Over the past few days, I've been all over the web looking for places to talk about WPMU DEV. Why? Because I would be lost without them. I balked at the price tag and was a sure I would cancel after the trial period (which I kept track of myself, by the way). Then I had a reason to really need the support; they are the only people I've ever come across who will literally do whatever's needed to get and keep me up and running.It became crystal clear that though they're not perfect - no one is - WPMU DEV would be worth the price even if it only included the support. Add the plugins (admittedly buggy at times, but hey, they're free, and I've paid for way worse), the themes, the Upfront editor, the Academy, and other perks, and it's a bargain. So I guess that makes me a "sock puppet." It's funny how people who give a bad review so often have to accuse the positive reviews of being fake. Stand by your experience, and I'll stand by mine without accusing you of being a plant for the competition.

WPMU Dev is THE source for Wordpress MultiSite plugins and support. I've recently switched from 8 single site wordpress installations to 1 multisite network that houses all of my sites. This has been a very challenging move, but with the help of WPMU Dev, I have access to a wide array of plugins that are designed JUST FOR MULTISITE. And the best part is, most of their plugins integrate with each other. This alllows the greatest flexibility when planning the features of your site. And to top it all off, I've received excellent support on some very technical plugin customizations. Their developers really know what they are doing and they've often gone above and beyond to make sure that I can create the functionality that I need. This is a great company that is getting better every day. I can't wait to see what they come up with next...

I am using WPMU Membership 2 Pro and have had billing issues from the start, Dec 1,2015. It has now been three months and the following issues have not been resolved.

1. I receive PayPal payments from some members every month but there is no record of them in Users or Members. Of course M2P doesn't notify me of the payment because they don't acknowledge the member.
2. I receive PayPal payments from other members but there is no record of them in Billing, nor do I receive any notification from M2P that a payment has been made.
3. One member cancelled her PayPal subscription. I was notified by PayPal but M2P has no record of her cancellation and still shows her as an active member.
4. I currently have 132 invoices that have been issued. Of those 132 invoices, 41 of them have no names attached to them, and yet I have their money.
5. The most annoying problem of all is that my members receive emails saying their membership has ended AFTER they have made payments. Tech Support keeps telling me that this has been resolved, and yet it keeps happening and I have to write to my members apologizing once again for the mistake. This is no way to run a business. My reputation deteriorates with every blunder made by this plugin.

I do NOT recommend the WPMU Membership 2 Pro plugin!

Just great support. Although WPMU's Upfront has a very long learning curve, the support from them is great and enduring:)
