We just migrated our site from ipage to WPMU DEV. Ipage expenses were adding up especially during COVID-19 and for what it's worth WPMU DEV are way better in terms of technology.

We tried to migrate our site to a relatively new hosting company called lifehost created by Anirudh Baavra but had a lot of trouble doing so. Lifehost said they have 24x7 chat support but they don't, and they use skype as support. Uddhab said there was an error on the site and they are not experts in wordpress so they can't do anything so they cannot migrate the site. The migration experience with lifehost was terrible and took almost 3 weeks for an unsuccessful result, February 17 2021 to March 10 2021. The creators of lifehost are WSO marketers so they are not a professional hosting company. Anirudh Baavra said they are running another launch for some other product so lifehost support is busy. Like we said lifehost is relatively new and they're not really a hosting company. Anirudh Baavra was helpful during the process but things didn't add up. We requested a refund and got it. Hope they sort things out.

Fast forward to April 1 2021. Thank you to the wpmuddev team for making the migration easy and seamless.

We migrated the site at midnight and the next business day it was up and running smoothly. No errors whatsoever. WPMU Dev is at the forefront of technology in this area. The hosting includes four premium plugins with each hosting plan: Smush Pro, Hummingbird Pro, Defender Pro, and Shipper Pro. And our site is super fast! Our site is so fast it allowed us to remove plugins we didn't need because WPMU DEV does it all. We started with Performance Pack x 2, examined our site's size and traffic then upgraded to Broze Hosting recommended by Alex. We are so happy we migrated to WPMU DEV. I'm not a developer but rather an implementor and consultant, so sometimes I need help with theme modifications, trouble-shooting and applying custom CSS or even JS to my sites. I use their support around 6-times per month, sometimes it takes 30-60 minutes each time to solve an issue and this is included my membership - isn't this just beyond awesome? Their plugins are nice as well, although I don't use them all, because for better alternatives. Those are the ones I use regularly on all of my sites: Smush Pro, Defender Pro, Forminator Pro (ok that one's free anyway) and sometimes SmartCrawl. I don't use Hummingbird, because I operate LiteSpeed servers and the LiteSpeed-plugin is much better than HB. I also heard that RankMath is better than SmartCrawl and Monster Insights better than their GoogleAnalytics+, so I will need some time for testing. For what I use and receive for my membership already I would say this is the most valuable membership I have ever used so far :) Keep up the good work!
