I ordered a shofar on 24 September 2021. I contacted the company after a little over a week. It took a couple of days, but they did get back to me. I was told my order would be processed in a few days. Tomorrow (Friday) will be 22 days since I ordered the shofar.
I did not read reviews till after I placed the order, I know, I should have read the reviews before I ordered. I am not impatient, but my trust in this company is diminishing. The only good part about this order so far is I paid with PayPal, and PayPal has always been prompt in dealing with claims and problems. I thought since this was an Israeli company, they would be prompt and forthcoming. I guess the company is a reflection of the world.
I would contact the company again, but they may send me a shofar poor in quality to get rid of me. I'll give a few more days. I will update this if anything changes. Oh, I forgot to mention, I selected expedited shipping. I doubt this will happen as well.
Say that items are in stock and that shipping would take 6-10 days only to later, after requesting an answer to where your product is, send an standardised message that the manufacturer has problems and is taking longer. After a couple of weeks our product finally arrived. Others seem not to have been that lucky.
Stay away from them!
They will scam you, the products are garbage and they tell you it's out of stock. They keep your money. BIGTIME FRAUD. DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. You wait weeks for the shipment and you get half if you're lucky. They don't answer emails. Save your time and money.
I order items cost $160 1 year ago and no response from them since.
I asked for a refund but they don't reply to you at all. I believe they are scammers
I ordered a mezuzah as a gift. I got no response when I queried the delivery date (6 weeks after it was supposed to be mailed). I got an email 2 months later quoting a reference number and saying that my parcel was sent with Deutsche Post - the number never checked out and NOBODY replied to the various emails I sent. No surprise - the mezuzah has STILL not arrived - 5 months after World of Judaica debited my bank account. STAY VERY FAR AWAY. SCAMMERS!
Charged my credit card for a duplicate order (due to their glitchy website). I returned the duplicate per their instructions, but they never refunded my money! Initially apologetic, they have since refused to respond to my messages and no answer at phone number. Seem to be stealing money regularly from customers.
A real shame, because I liked their products.
Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Radio silence.
I placed order ******* on Jan. 25th, 2018.
On February 8th, I logged into my account on their website and found that my order was listed as "pending," and that their site told me "We have tried contacting you regarding a stock, delay or design change with your order. Please contact customer service via phone or live chat so that we may resolve it for you." They had not contacted me at all.
On Feb. 20th, I received the following email: "We apologize for the delayed response and inconvenience caused with your order.
We have not forgotten your order and will do our best to resolve this matter to your satisfaction, as soon as possible.
We are currently moving to new facilities and once we complete this process we will attend to your request.
We will appreciate you to bear patience for a few days more."
I contacted them again on March 26th, and they never responded.
On May 14th I sent them two more emails. One email asked for a status update on my order. That email went unanswered. I sent a second email that same day asking generically for help with an order. That email they responded to the following day. As soon as I responded with my order number, they stopped answering.
Now here we are, over four months later, and I can't get an answer from them at all.
Ordered goods 29 March. Money taken 2nd April. Still no goods received and despite 3 mails no response at all
I ordered for over 289 and have never been delivered. What a scam. HUMILIATING. I am activing all that i can to have this company shut down.
I ordered something in Jan and then received a tracking order that it had been shipped Problem was that the tracking order was not connected to a real delivery I have tried numerous times to contact them an IF i get a response, it's that they will get back to me with further details. I am still waiting for my product, a decent response or my money refunded. I am finalising a complaint with Pay Pal tomorrow
I bought a Kidddush cup set for a bar mitzva 2 months ago. I did not receive all of the pieces. Despite calling repeatedly and emailing repeatedly I got no calls back or any reply to my emails!

Do not order from this company! You will not receive your items and they will not respond to any of your attempts to contact them.
They are owned by a corporation named Clixie, so make sure you dont order from another site that is also under the Clixie label.
I placed an order for a Talit and kippah set for my sons bar mitzvah, along with matching kippot for our entire family. I paid for expedited shipping to ensure that the items arrived well on advance of the event. The delivery date passed and I tried to contact the company. I emailed them three times and never heard back. I tried to live chat with them over 20 Times, over a period of a week. There are two places to do this on the site. One says they are available during IST business hours and the other says the same hours but PST. I tried both time frames and no one is ever available. I have left messages via their online chat note system each time and no response there either. I have called their 800 number over and over and left tens of messages that on their voicemail. No response that way, either.
I finally emailed requesting a refund. Surprise, surprise, there was no response. I have filed a complaint with my credit card company and am waiting to be reimbursed.

Years ago I ordered with this company and never got my stuff. RecentlyI tried again: 2 items, one of which turned out to be 'not available' I chose another. After a MONTH I got word that the items had been sent. But only the one menorah I exchanged arrived. Letters got unanswered, no reaction whatever. $64 down the drain. You had a sale on a chai, a lovely plain gold one. I sent for one and received a chai with a different design. I also sent for a chain which turned out to be so slender, it can easily break. Also, your company would benefit from a clear and easy to use return system.

I found my wife's wedding ring through this catalog, my wife no one has a ring nearly as beautiful and respectful of our relation ship. The service received has always been excellent and items purchased have meet our needs as expected. Regarding Jewish items I will always come to World of Judaica.

Shipping was not so fast but prices were good and also very professional customer service. For sure i will remain as a customer.
Answer: Yes, I also received that request from them. My order was over $1000 though. They said it was a security measure due to the relatively large order size and that my billing and shipping address weren't the same. The order went through with no other issues though and was shipped on time so I was overall satisfied with the service.
