My question is why is the service of World of Judaica so bad? I ordered almost 7 weeks ago and have received nothing. They charged my card the same day I put my order in and I have not received anything. I have sent email messages and phone calls and and they just ignor me. I want to know why they ignor and if and when I will receive my order.
I placed an order with World of Judaica some months ago. My order arrived but with some issues and an offered discount did not happen. I was unhappy, particularly as this item (shofar) was a gift.
When I wrote my initial review and contacted the company their response was rapid and very gratifying. The discount was applied retroactively and my other concerns were quickly addressed. So while my initial impression was poor I must retract that review and give high marks for the customer service I received. I would here like to give a shout out to Poalabelle Sarfati for her excellent efforts and follow up on my behalf. I truly wish all companies would be as diligent and honorable in their dealings. I now have no difficulty in recommending this company.
I purchased items for my wedding 2 months in advance. When I followed up with World of Judaica on the expected delivery date, the items hadn't been sent.
When the items were sent the following issues appeared;
- no invoice was sent with the items- resulting in weeks of delays and enormous inconveniences
- the items which should have been sent in one colour where two different shades of the same colour
- I ordered 40 of the one item and World of Judaica only delivered 4
I raised the issue with World of Judaica and all they would really do was apologies. In terms of the short delivery, they said that the item was incorrectly market on their website so they would be happy to refund me fore the 4 items delivered (as oppose to sending me the 36 items which I paid for).
I would recommend that no one does business with World of Judaica.
My daughter is having her bat mitzvah in December. In early September i purchased a talit for her... waiting and waiting... and waiting I have sent multiple emails. No response. I am now going to call my credit card company and alert them of fraud
I tried to make a purchase from aJudaica.com and had a question regarding shipping. After trying to call twice (no answer…) I looked for alternatives and got to worldofjudaica.com. Not only did they answer the phone (apparently, not trivial these days…), the representative that took my order even added a free dreidel to my Hanukkah menorah. I really appreciate businesses that do such things because it shows that they care and understand that these small gestures are eventually what customers remember. Will buy again.
Similar experience to other reviewers. Non responsive and I think this company is a scam. Beware. They actually finally sent a response to my many queries ( email and voice) on Shabbat morning. I think this is a scam company masquerading as an Israeli one. JMHO

On Sept 12th I have bought for 187 of products.
On Sept 14th, 2 days later, World of Judaica debited my credit card (very efficient...!)
1 week later I have received 1 T. Shirt ONLY!
On November 6th I have still not received anything else than the T. Shirt
World of Judaica never answered my follow ups.
Phase 1 all is great: their web site is great; you will order; you will get debited immediately
Phase 2: it will turn to a nightmare: you will never receive your order; you will try to connect in vain with their customer service; they will send you couple e-mails to make you believe you order will arrive one day.
As of today, never received my order done on September 12th...

I was so excited to find this website, it has absolutely everything... I've never seen anything like it. I was looking for mezuzahs for our new home and found some gorgeous sleek Adi Sidler ones that match the design of our house. I am happy to say that the package arrived quickly, and more importantly in time for our chanukat habayit.
Great site, products I purchased were even more beautiful than the photographs depicted. The parcel arrived when they said it would, will buy again from World of Judaica.
I bought two Judaica items from them and both were delivered fast, in perfect condition... both are beautiful pieces. Can highly recommend the site/merchant.

Awesome products to choose from that it took me a while to pick! I am extremely happy with my purchases which came nicely wrapped and packaged, just in time to use them for a special occasion!
The selection on the website is beyond overwhelming. So many unique & interesting items. I got few things as a gift and it was such a hit! They also packaged it very safe ;)
I ordered a Hebrew name necklace but wrote my name in English so luckily enough they called me to verify that indeed my intention was for an English name necklace. I actually meant for the name to be written in Hebrew so they prevented me from getting the wrong name.
The customer service representative (Arieh) was so nice and patient, and above all - he called about a week after I got the necklace to make sure that I liked it.
The way I see it - by doing that they've earned me as a customer for life. Way to go!

I purchase online all the time. I use the same CC all the time with no problem.
Place my order with this retailer and got a confirmation. A week later I receive an email stating that they prefer I pay with a wire transfer (?). They offered a 1.5% discount.
Never had a trouble with my CC and in fact I bought kippot with another online retailer on the same day and the order went through.
I had the urgent need to get tallitot for my son's Bar Mitzvah and now i am back to square 0, which is where this company should be!
Cheating and lying will not get this company anywhere. Be honest! Treat your customers well and they will be back! Treat your customers bad and you will only get bad propaganda through word of mouth... the worst advertising any company can get.
My wife ordered a t-shirt, tank top, necklace and earrings in November. My credit card was charged and after numerous attempts to contact WOJ and numerous promises of delivery WOJ is no longer answering our emails. Looks like they have gone dark. This is thievery. Plain and simple.
When a company has only 5 stars or 1 star reviews pay attention to the 1 star reviews, wished I had. If you carefully read the 5 star reviews they are very sparse on detail. All of the 1 star reviews are very specific. And they all say one thing. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! IT IS A SHAM!
Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Radio silence.
I placed order ******* on Jan. 25th, 2018.
On February 8th, I logged into my account on their website and found that my order was listed as "pending," and that their site told me "We have tried contacting you regarding a stock, delay or design change with your order. Please contact customer service via phone or live chat so that we may resolve it for you." They had not contacted me at all.
On Feb. 20th, I received the following email: "We apologize for the delayed response and inconvenience caused with your order.
We have not forgotten your order and will do our best to resolve this matter to your satisfaction, as soon as possible.
We are currently moving to new facilities and once we complete this process we will attend to your request.
We will appreciate you to bear patience for a few days more."
I contacted them again on March 26th, and they never responded.
On May 14th I sent them two more emails. One email asked for a status update on my order. That email went unanswered. I sent a second email that same day asking generically for help with an order. That email they responded to the following day. As soon as I responded with my order number, they stopped answering.
Now here we are, over four months later, and I can't get an answer from them at all.
I am now a second time customer. I am so happy with worldofjudaica I am sure I will come back again. This time I purchased a seder plate for Passover as a present for my mum and dad who were hosting us for the lovely evening. I picked out a Shraga Landesman plate and it turned out to be even more beautiful than in the pictures. I just love to have the wide variety of products to choose from.
With the best prices and consistently prompt deliveries, World of Judaic is my go to sure for ordering class size amounts of items like tzitzit strings.
Answer: Yes, I also received that request from them. My order was over $1000 though. They said it was a security measure due to the relatively large order size and that my billing and shipping address weren't the same. The order went through with no other issues though and was shipped on time so I was overall satisfied with the service.
