The app doesn't tell you the free version is limited to five minutes until you've already downloaded it.
I tried the free version but it had the water mark. I needed to submit a video for my group assignment and it needed to look profession, and without the watermark (Note1) on the video. So I went ahead & purchased the full version.
The tutorial video did not even go over the basic "trim" function (I needed to take out a couple sections in the middle of video) and I had the hardest time doing the trim for my very short video because the tutorial was not helpful. The toolbar did not offer any thing that could show me how to complete the trimming. It was business hours (11 AM U.S. Mountain Time). So I tried to CALL but the phone recording said they were "closed"! Their office hours were strange - open from 6PM U.S. time to 9 A.M. U.S. Time
(2) Even though there's Chat Box (AI Bot) on the bottom right corner, the help I needed was not 1 of those automatic pop-up options in the Chat box ----and a few weeks later, I found out from someone who also purchased this Filmora 9 by Wondershare that they were UNABLE to get tech support during business hours and their email was never answered, AND they were unable toget REFUND because Wondershare cited stuff from their "policy" for NON-REFUND! Same as my experience! Also that person said they WERE closed for Chinese New Year, which is NOT a U.S. business holiday. So, if you're located outside of that region/time zone OR if you want to make sure you're dealing with an honest business that actually honor their 30-day Refund Policy (rather than using all sorts of excuse to not provide promised REFUND), do not purchase from this company.
Be aware of WONDERSHARE! They stealing money from your account without asking. They charge money from your bank for unexpected need of plug-in & effects. That's obviously a TRAP!
They sold a product that was no longer supported or maintained and then wanted me to buy another more expensive product in order to get a refund.
I got Dr. Fone because it claimed to be able to get past the screen lock and it was able to recover lost/deleted data from phones, sd cards, and flash drives. I first found out I was unable recover any data what so ever from sd cards and flash drives. Dr. Fone specifically advertised that it had the capability to recover lost data from sd cards and flash drives. That was the main reason for me getting it as this was my main objective. When I spoke to customer support about it they said that it actually doesn't have that capability and I would have to purchase Recoverit in order to recover data from sd card and flash drives. I showed the guy where it advertised that and he was actually at a loss for words and couldn't explain why it was advertising that. As circumstances turned out I was to be taken away from my work for the better art of the year until recently and I only have 2 months left on my subscription. I figured I would get the most out of those 2 months but come to find out their program just happens to not support any of the phones I need to work on. Go figure! Paying only $87 for a year subscription makes it a fairly cheap lesson that I've learned. Hopefully from my experience it will make it a free lesson to those who read this. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON WONDERSHARE PEOPLE!

They have a really crafty renewal policy - if you miss the renewal notification they refuse to refund or close your account.

After a complain I made about a fee that was charged from me, Wondershare contacted me and offered me a refund.
Nice handling of the issue by them.
They steal the money, unauthorized payments, in products that you are supposed to have already bought, they want to charge you for other things
I downloaded the Wondershare Dr.Fone to remove a password from my phone. Worst mistake, I downloaded it because that was the only way to see pricing. Once downloaded I realized that I was not happy with the price. I attempted to delete the app but it did not work. It said that I had to close the running window but its window was not running. After an hour I was able to access the files for the app and saw an array of concerning files within. I saw many different files named "Uninstall process killer", once again I was unable to delete these. I ended up running the command prompt and was able to uninstall the files, then ultimately uninstall the app. This is extremely concerning, I feel like the file may have contained some kind of data collector because why would they not want me uninstalling the app. Luckily I was able to get rid of it because only god knows how much info they could have stolen from me had I not. Morale of the story, check reviews before you download things. I hope this helped some of you out and FV

I signed up to use the software called Wondershare UniConverter 14 for Windows PERPETUALPLAN, App Access. This was a black Friday special and was a one-time fee for unlimited use of the software. I needed this software because it allowed me to remove backgrounds from images I had to edit. This software seemed nice, so I decided to give it a try since I had a lot of images to edit. After I paid, I was granted access to use this software, but it turns out I was not able to use the software unless I paid an additional fee per image of around $0.10 to use this software, this is after I already paid $60.94
This is false advertising, when I signed up it said I would have unlimited access to the software but that is not the case. I had to pay over $60 then pay more to use the software. So, I basically received nothing for the money I spent other then being scammed. I did not use the software at all and will not use this because I do not want to spend additional money when I was told I was already paid. I contacted the merchant, and they told me to bad they will not issue me a refund even though I received nothing and was unable to use their product.
Answer: Wondershare intentional makes their "service" difficult and their software nearly unusable. If you t at to cancel, they'll find a reason to refuse honering the refund policy and Money Back Guarantee. Avoid at all costs.
Answer: You'll have to file a dispute with your credit card. Wondershare has a refund policy that they go out of their way to not honor. Additionally they have a Money Back Guarantee posted to their site that is worthless and they refuse to honor under any circumstance.
