I purchased a site off wix, it advertises £7 per month so put details in and they took £111 out of my account, now find they have billed me a further £26, if I try to access my account on wix it says whoops you don't have one yet so I cannot do anything. They say go to support that sends you to the pGe to buy the services, i have tried several e mails to try to resolve and get the same advice even though I have told them it's not working, they now have 5 working days to sort or I report them to the relevant Authorities, in May opinion a rip off just avoid,
Wix is a waste of time. They will charge you for no reason and wouldn't tell you why they have charged you. The worst part is their so called customer service. I don't recommend wix, rest is upon you. I would give my money to starter like "TemplateToaster" http://templatetoaster.com instead of this experienced DIY builder like Wix.
Terrible experience and a big waste of money and time. WIX nickles and dimes you to death. Lie about the actual cost of premium sites and what come with the premium plans. Constantly raise their fees. Have terrible scheduling and credit card purchase plans. Basically, all you get with WIX is a site that is not functional for actual business. You can't sale your products or services on your site. You can't take orders or send proposals or invoices from your site. Their Ascend business apps are the industries worst. Don't waste you time and money with WIX. Don't hurt your business with WIZ. Shop around or hire someone to build your business site instead.
These people they charge you after you turn off the auto renew option off, I tried to get ahold of them they are impossible to reach! Never again will I use this company. I see that many people have had the same issue! Stay away from these people.
I have used wix for the last 2 years for 2 premium e-commerce websites. I utilized countless add ons and other wix services to build these sites.
I have unfortunately fallen on hard times and needed to downgrade my website from Yearly to Monthly subscription. The change in the subscription didn't take and my Yearly renewal happened anyway. I was charged the $272, that I did not authorize and overdrafted my account.
WIX customer service told me I had to make a choice between my refund and my site being live, which is absolutely unacceptable. It astounds me that there's no customer loyalty considering how long I've been with them, and how much money they make off of me.
As an artist, without my website I cannot prospect galleries to show my work. Considering the tough times everyone is going through I feel that this is very disappointing and I wonder what my incentive is to stay with WIX.
I honestly have no words for how much of a sham this company is. I turned off auto renewal on an add campaign and have still been charged for it yet again. For a company that is worth 1 billion how the $%^& cant you have customer service agents available on weekends. Read the other reviews associated with this company and you will see that this isnt a one off occurence. People who work for this company should be ashamed to be associated with a company that rips off small businesses.

As a start-up, our company started using Wix a little over a year ago to build a website in an effort to establish credibility and raise awareness for our company. Although Wix was incredibly effective at helping us build our website (with no coding experience), transitioning away to a higher fidelity website has been an absolute nightmare.
We haven't had emails for days, and this has happened multiple times.
Overall, Wix has negatively impacted our customers and partners perception of our business.
To top it all off, my team has absolutely no insight into the status of the problem, or if it's even being addressed… realistically, we're at the point that we're seriously considering abandoning resolving this problem, and redoing everything from the ground up - couldn't be any more difficult than this has been.
TL; DR: They can't tell us anything, and they've made it unfathomably difficult to switch our services. 0/10 - would not recommend.
They'll charge you as long as they have your card on file and that's with the fact that you've canceled your subscription. They're a bunch of crooks and the reviews about the company is really terrible. Cancelling your subscription is no good enough, kindly cancel the financial information you have with them. They're a BIG fraud.
Wix forex is a webpage from San Francisco office. Ascend. Wix is their chat. Email and customer service support. I lost almost $5000 on a fraudulent forex site. I communicated with wix.com showed the screenshots of obvious fraud they investigated but did nothing. No offer to help get my btc or even stop website. It is still up and running. I bought a wix platform for an online buisness and thy have a 15 day return policy and I was getting steady traffic, what i would expect for it starting as a new website, but as soon as the 15 day mark hit no more traffic and I can't get ahold of anyone to try and refund the rest of my purchase and still just pay for the time I had it up. Don't waste your time or money

I was holding a wix account for over 3 years and when I finished my education I decided to start up my business. Therefore, I activated the account and designed my page and published it. It was working till 4 to 5 days that I was about to buy a premium subscription to use my own domain. Suddenly, I've seen that I can not login to my profile, the error was about the website couldn't recognize my email address (it was deleted).
I contacted wix support, first they replied that your account was not registered. Then when I replied that I am sure that this is my email address they replied that you are in the sanction countries. (I am in Denmark)
Meanwhile, there was a bottom in their emails that I could reply to that specific email reference, which all of them was not working.
I really don't know how could they get here by such a poor behavior and knowledge.
I would totally not suggesting them based on their poor judgment.

You charged me for a full year of service I didn't want. Same day I requested to cancel and requested a refund. Since then I have been giving the run around.
I'm not sure how your still in business. If it means taking people's money for services they didn't use.
I have over 13 email messages and waited 3-4 days for a response only to be some ridiculous excuse.
If you charge someone's credit card and the same day a request to have the charges refunded was made, it should only take 7 business days to have the credit card refunded.
As a business owner myself I am fully aware of "merchant to bank" relationships.
My credit card was charged on June 29th, 2019.

I've been using this platform for several years. It used to be good. Now it's trash: glitchy, laggy, and clunky. But worst of all, is their tech support people are absolutely CLUELESS! Don't even bother with chat; just ask for a callback. The upside is that they DO call back quickly, BUT, the tech support people are the lowest IQ people I have ever dealt with in IT. All they know how to do is read from their little manual of phrases that they are supposed to say to a customer; if your tech issue falls outside of any of those, you are screwed, as they will hem and haw and say, "Oh...[pause]...[um]... pause... Let me see...[pause]... Um..." And it goes on from there. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I(21) college student signed up for Wix for one of my projects. After I finished my project, the company continued to take enormous amounts of money from my account(Auto-renewal), about $800 a week. I keep trying to cancel my subscription, but the process is lengthy, and by the time I'm done, the page errors and I have to refresh, starting over again. $#*! this company, I do not have the money. I and my parents(paying my tuition) will have to change all are cards, numbers, pins, etc, because this $#*!ing company wont let me cancel my subscription. $#*! wix. I had a website with WIX for my business. There was a auto-renew set up but I kept getting messages that they could not charge my credit card. I spoke to my bank and the bank told me that there were no declined charges. I tried another credit card, same thing. Now my website is off-line. I have requested call backs from WIX -- no responses. I have filed service tickets, and the response I got was to contact my bank or use a different credit card. There is no one to call. Their customer service have their collective heads so far up their collective asses. STAY AWAY FROM WIX AT ALL COSTS
I've been with Wix for a few years now and have two domains. One domain is dormant and I wanted to delete but Wix does not enable a delete, and it tricked me into extending (I thought I was extending the domain I use- both are similar in name).
I wrote to them to get a refund the minute I realised it extended, and I got a 'request denied' which is simply against business ethics/customer service because it feels like a trap.
No one to speak to (automated chat service), and no one to complain to, so my advice is to stay well away!

The recording first said, that "due to call volume, i would have to call back when they next opened on Monday (feb 13th!)" which means that they haven't changed their answering message for days! Then I tried this morning, and there is a new recording that saids that they will next be open on Tuesday feb Feb 21st! So. Fuck. Seriously. We can't afford to rebuild our whole site again with another service! And i've/we've had WIX for over 6yrs now..

Answer: One of the things that really bother me with Wix (besides them being so focused on extracting money from their customers that they tend to forget about everything else) is that they make these changes and do not care one bit to inform their customers that they are going to do this, so all of the sudden one has a site that doesn't function and unless one keeps checking daily whether everything still works as it should, one end up having problems. That's one of the reasons why I'm out and do not plan to use them much longer.
