I ordered dresses for my students dance show on Nov 10. Nov 14, I received an email saying my items had been shipped. I still have not received them, and it is now December 10. I sent an email asking where they were, and expressing that I needed to know when they would arrive. The reply was brief and uninformed. They don't know where my items are, or when they will arrive. Our show is tomorrow. I hope they get here in time, but I'm not banking on it. We are never ordering from Wish for our dance outfits again.
Ordered many times and the last 2 orders i did was messed up. The coat, which i paid $32 plus shipping and handling, came too small for a size XL. Couldnt even zip the darn coat. Plus i will have to pay $45 to ship it back to them and they will only refund me for the price i paid for the coat! The next one was an anklet. Which keep telling me had shipped and should be at my doorstep in two weeks. One month passed and i started contacting support and they keep telling me to wait some more. After two more weeks, i finally asked for a refund and thats when they told me something was wrong with the shipment schedule. So yeah, no more wish for me and i hope this review will help others as well.
I don't usually write reviews but I felt strongly enough against this site to warn my fellow consumers not to buy anything from this site: WISH. We all know that most things are "Made in China" these days and you really can't get around this because they manufacture their products at very low prices. However, most things that are made in China are usually sold by way of a department store, independent retailer or some intermediate US/Canada website (E-Bay, Amazon etc) who will try to regulate the quality of goods being sold. Too many complaints and they will pull the product off their shelves (or virtual shelves as it may be). The products on this website are extremely cheap because they are unregulated crap direct from a Chinese sweatshop. The sizes won't fit you, the material is very low quality and who really knows what parasitic bugs are in your shipment. The likelihood of these items getting checked for anything at all is slim to nil so the buyer really needs to beware. It's true that you get what you pay for so if you would like to pay for a headache and dress yourself in poor quality merchandise, then go for it! I can almost guarantee that you will probably find better quality clothes in a 2nd hand store than the garbage in this website.
5 stars for the advertising though... they were able to entice me with their flashy website, cutthroat prices and snazzy app and I can attest that it's very easy to get sucked into it, so please watch out. Hope this helps you!
Ok I never write these type of things but I felt strong enough about this to do so.
I have now order two things from these people and both were defective out of the box. When I try to return them, i am told that i will have to pay shipping to have my original amount returned! WTF? Never in all my years of shopping online have I heard of something this stupid. They want you to pay more money out of pocket to be refunded for a defective item they sold!
**** DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE ***** THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST AT BEST!
Ordered a few things for my daughter and card was charged twice and no confirmation number was given. I can't call or find a customer service number
I was even willing to wait a month in delivery. Just my luck!
This app is actually very convenient and all round just an amazing place to shop. The fear of scammers and poor quality products may scare you at first, but it is not dangerous or as bad as some people make it out to be. They only thing I would recommend to do would be to carefully read and look through all the comments and photos of all the products (posted by the purchasers), I do this because sometimes the products (especially clothing items) are not as they seem. Also, the shipping does take around a month which sucks. So if you are buying gifts then make sure you give enough time for the products to ship to you before you need to give them. In spite of these things, the wish/cute app is amazing and i would recommend for everyone to give it a try.
First off it's all products from China. So sizes are smaller. Once you order correctly the items are as shown. Remember you are paying ridiculous low price. Quality is not going to be made as a top designer. But customer service is never an issue. I'm an addictive shopper and honestly can say I know what I get is what I paid for. In addition your paying low shipping charges. You will not receive your items in a week. I'm not sure why the complaints I definitely enjoy Wish and their products! Thank you for always having the products I love at a cost I can afford!
They blow these items out for ridiculous low prices, I paid $55 & $61. Said delivered but to wrong address... Scam scam scam. Buyer beware
Placed an order, my credit card was immediately charged, but no record of the order on my profile on their site, no confirmation of the order sent to me and NO response from customer service! Emailed 6 times, nobody will answer me! Is this fraud?
I bought 3 items about 2 month ago- received the first item in good time and the next followed a few weeks later but its been 2 months and i haven't had my third item- when you try to contact support it tells you you will have a response in 2-3 working days but even that's too hard for them. I haven't bothered trying to get a refund because of the cost of the product- its £4. Although I am thinking of pursuing it just out of principal. No customer service and by the looks of thing your query gets sent direct to the supplier so not much chance getting a response from them either. It looked like a good idea to use the site but the savings not worth the effort and stress of trying to get your products delivered at all. Wont be recommending this to anyone i know- il tell the story of buying 3 items but only receiving 2 so stay away.
Wish.com charged someone else's credit card for items that I ordered without my knowledge even though my card was also on file in my account info. Then one day I went to place another order and found that Wish had suspended my account (I presume because the other card holder disputed the charges). I have followed the instructions the contact them to resolve this enormous error and not only have they not contacted me back, now the site and app won't allow me to contact their customer service department. I recently read a comment that they are harvesting peoples credit cards, and I have frantically tried to remove mine from their site but can't be sure If I have been successful. I was pleased with the service and products I received until these fraudulent acts occurred. If only they would contact me to resolve this. Now I'm contacting a law enforcement agency about this. I urge anyone who reads my post to use caution. And if anyone has credible info that can help me please let me know. Don't bother with snide remarks or wastful words as that would just be insult to injury.
My daughter started buying from wish.com, the things looked nice for the price, she got the items but it took time. Now it's my turn I got a lot of inexpensive basic things. I got all the items but the shipping takes time.
You will receive a broken item, wrong color item or something completely different from what you ordered. Not to mention, you may or may not actually receive am item. Oh and if it's broken, wrong item, etc YOU are responsible to pay to ship it back.
I have made many orders through Wish and have always received exactly what I ordered in exactly the way I thought it would be. The problem with most negative reviews seems to be that nobody understands that Wish is not the company you're buying from, it's a middle-man.
Wish is similar to Amazon, Ebay Stores, Milanoo, or Aliexpress in that they are a company that works as a go-between from seller to consumer.
Wish does not make anything themselves and you're not buying from Wish. Wish is basically a third-party that allows sellers to keep costs down and consumers to pay less. That's about it. Wish processes your payment the same way Amazon processed my payment to an independent seller that I purchased from a couple days ago. The items you see are listed by different sellers that have their own stores: they choose which items they want to sell at what cost, and Wish lists them on their app/website. You can always read the reviews to a particular item and individual stores (HINT: if there isn't a review, DON'T BUY IT DUMMY), and you can swipe to "relevant items" to see similar/identical items to compare, making it actually fairly easy to figure out which ones are worth buying from.
Shipping usually takes a very long time as nearly everything comes directly from China. There is definitely a risk of receiving an incorrect or defective item, but common sense and due diligence are your best tools to avoid such circumstances. I personally have made about 10 orders through Wish this year, and I absolutely love it. You have to be diligent in reading reviews and asking questions to the seller directly if you have any concerns, but that should be par for the course as far as making any sort of investment is concerned.
As long as you use your head and do your research into what you're ordering and who you're ordering it from, this is a fantastic app that I would recommend to anyone.
As everyone else, I find shopping online very convenient. I heard about WISH.COM on one of my favorite talk radio-consumer related shows ( a positive remark) and decided to give it a try. As I visited the site, I was amazed about the cost difference and the convenience of having it shipped straight from China to my home. I have purchased products directly from suppliers from China before, and did not have a problem.
So I decided to give it a try and placed 3 different orders. One came thru without a problem, 2 others were as bad as it could get. The first one: I ordered 4 Bicycle clamps and I received 4 SPONGE HOLDERS, the second one I ordered 2 back lights for a bicycle and they both came broken ( non operational). And I have been told that I have to pay out of pocket to have the items shipped back to them. Why do I have to pay to return a sponge holder that I never ordered? Why do I have to pay to return broken items? I would not mind to make a video of the items being burned, just to make Wish.com sure that I was not keeping them for free. But, do I have to pay for THEIR mistake? I think it's absurd.
I am not saying that this is a terrible business model, in contrary: it's a great one. But, WISH.com has got to create a list of "A" suppliers and stick with them ( good service providers). On my side, I prefer to go back to Amazon and pay a few dollars more, but have the backing of Amazon, if I don't get what was agreed upon on the first place. The owner of Wish.com is already millionaire, I don't really think that he needs to deceive people in order to get a few more dollars.
Moral of the story: If you can afford the risk of "ordering a pair of shoes and getting a case of lollipops", this is the site for you. Otherwise, try somewhere else. Best of luck to you!
In how many days does the bought goods arrived in a destination
About everything on the site ships from China, hence the low prices and quality...
Though you'll often enough buy chinese products in America for three or four dollars more than Wish at Wal-Mart
They sell drones for thirty bucks for Pete's sake, do you really think the hundred dollar drones and helicopters at the mall kiosks AREN'T made in china? Don't be naive... China's taking over our economy... might as well buy the cheap stuff directly from them.
PLUS they offer you a refund for practically EVERYTHING in my experience... I've ordered maybe thirty items from them and only two have been late ONE hasn't come. Lol nine wigs for under a hundred bucks and tons of stuff for a dollar seems worth it to me.
Some people are just unlucky yy
How do i remove my credit ard I formation off wish. UT I recently ordered something off wish and I haveno got it yet but I thought if I removed my card information, my package will not be sent.
I ordered a v neck bodycon dress from here. It looked a lovely stretchy cardigan material. When it came it was a t shirt material and too small. It was not well made and I am very disappointed
Wish is ridiculous, no customer service, ordered 4mens wallets for Christmas presents, never received them even tough they showed delivered at my mailbox. Messaged them and supposedly nothing can be done, ridiculous they just rip people off. Should if just stuck with Amazon, don't fall for it people.
Answer: Wish your company charged my checking account $114.75, I have been trying to contact your company several times and get no respond form you by email, tried that fake phone number that's a joke... Where is my orders or my refund for 114.75 your company charged out of my checking account. I am going to have my Bank and credit card company look into this matter... PLEASE RESPOND.(shame on your poor services) I have ordered hundreds of dollars form WISH I can't say it enough how disappointed I am in wish, I ordered several items that was not right I got in touch with wish company about the the mistake right away I was told it was to late to do any thing about the items. I ordered two black king size comforter you sent me two black satin king size sheet set, I ordered black satin two piece medium size sleep ware you sent me a size small, I ordered a medium black suit jacket, you sent me a size small. I have ordered to much form your company for you all to treat me this way..
Answer: Yes, delete the app from your device. They will send you stuff you looked at! Bought a $7 item, was charged $97. Turns out everything I looked at, they billed me for and shipped. I only got $70 back.
Answer: They can't be trusted at all.
Answer: Honestly it depends on what u order. I found most of the stuff is ok quality. Not wonderful but not poor quality. Everything is always smaller then what it says so keep that in mind. My biggest issue with them is the customer support sucks. No way to contact them other then email, and the issue never gets resolved. Shipping is horrible. Plan for about 2 months after ordering. They give u estimated shopping time then add 2 wks. So answer to your question items are not the best but not the worst of quality either.
Answer: Very cheap knock off merchandise. I placed an order for about 70 items on a single order, out of those 70 I have received 9 items. *3* where broken, *4* was the wrong item and *2* were such poor quality it was unusable. And yes it has been about 7 wks. Since I placed my order. The tracking numbers DO NOT work in the USA. And if you go through their site it's all in Chinese. I found all of the same items on EBay from same companies and tried them out and guess, I got a USA tracking number, and my item arrived in 2 wks.! So unless you just want to waist your money DO NOT ORDER FROM WISH.COM!
Answer: I found more bad seller's than good. Was also told a item had been delivered to my address. The item did arrive 3 weeks later. Another seller told me item had been dispatched then told me it was out of stock on each occasion customer service was really bad if you like a gamble this is the site
Answer: Everything typically takes forever to get to buyer if it gets to you at all, then Wish says 5 more days, 5 more days all the while they have your money, if you do get your order and it isn't right or defective they expect you to return the item on your dime regardless that it was their mistake which is illegal. There is no customer service, you have to email then eventually call your bank or file a complaint with the District attorney about Wish which I had to do in order to get my refund. I have not ordered anything else from Wish and warn people about them. So in my opinion beware order from someone else
Answer: They are, just some do take a little more work to come over if you put more coats on to make darker
Answer: I have answered this many times and my answer is always the same. Read the reviews! Some items are junk, and if so, people will comment. The clothes are sized for the Asian market and therefore are many sizes smaller. I wear a medium and ordered the one article of clothing I have ordered in an xxl and it just fit. Clothing tends to be on cheap side, too. Watches and jewelry tend to be a good deal and I have ordered many watches as gifts ans have averaged $3-$5. They look expensive and some even say CK on them. I ordered a $70 purse that I didn't use for several months and when I did, the zipper broke. I took a picture of it, sent it to customer service and received a refund within an hour. Didn't even have to send the item back. Items can take up to a month and if you complain, they usually offer a refund, but even with the refund, I have received the item every time. Have patience and read the reviews and you will be good to go!
Answer: Well if you bought it and try returning it I think it'll be a waste because of shipping, but usually you would get the money back. Oh and just so you know when they say that shipping is $1 sometime it's really not. I ordered something and shipping was way more then expected.
